Not a whole lot of people talk about the Dominator. It got a pretty bad rap when it was released and a lot of people struggle just putting all the nonsensical and fragile components together in a way that actual gets the blaster to work (myself included). Poor instructions and questionable design makes it hard to get into this blaster, and few people have really tried to maximize it's potential. I'm here to try and drum up more discussion and love for such blasters in hopes that it can reach it's deserved status as a Heavy Rifle.

THAT DPS IS INSANE!! It sounds like a decent real steel full-auto speed!
Maybe if someone successfully combined a Titan with an Infinus, that would be near God-tier for ammo.
Titan as is Titan AS.V, or Titan CS-50? It was already created anyway in the form of the Nerf Semperfire RF-100 which appeared in both N-Strike video games back in 2006 and 2010. It’s an 8 barreled Gatling 100 dart chain gun that was able to fire over 6-8 darts per second.
And I want to make it. All it would need would be 9 volt or C batteries to push the voltage, a belt drive, a rotary barrel drive and the main motor for the plunger firing assembly. The shell can be a multi part 3D printed assembly of 50% infill or more, with PLA/PETG and for the mechanical internals with Carbon Fiber/Nylon parts.

We sent him motors out of our "reject bin" so they're not motors that would have been sold anyways. They have bent tabs, cosmetic issues, or need breaking in. Everyone is out of Fang Revamps right now because there was a delay in manufacturing on our most recent order due to a batch of defective magnets. Rather than send us sub-par motors, the manufacturer re-ordered magnets from a different supplier. That combined with a drastic increase in sales over last year means we didn't have enough in stock to last, and we're sorry about that. That said, they should hopefully be back in stock within a week or so. :)

I'm excited to finally have this thing up and running, and if I'm able to fix what minor issues I have going forward this will definitely be an important choice for a loadout.
UKnerfwar posted an improvement to the reliability of the magazines during the last days. You will want to look that up.

this is definitely fitting the role of a SAW (squad automatic weapon) pretty well, besides the magazine compatibility that you mentioned.

I'm not a competitive nerfer, but I do occasionally have wars with friends, while I'm never normally scared I would be completely shitting myself if I saw a guy with 8 double stack mags on him and a ultimate stryfe with 6 flywheels

In the firing demo, I looked up at the dart catcher just in time to see a darts head fly off, and then another, and another...and two more? Oof, good thing those were cheap darts XD

The sound of your Dominator firing slowly reminds me of my Stampede, the cyclic sound of darts for days. I think you need an ammo counter to help you keep track of what you have left.
I just love the sound of the blaster firing just the metal sound is so satisfying

You already have the mags, and the core flywheel/pusher system would be equal price to the original PS
the only extra expense would be making the magwells, and there are much cheaper options than buying three dom3nators.
Either way, I just thought it was funny to connect these two ideas :P

Loving your work. I want to get into the dominator but it's a whole new ecosystem to get into. Also getting the best out of them is a lot of work and probably cost a far bit of money nether I really have at the mo..... Maybe in the future when you and a few other trail blazers have figured out the best way to set one up

And worker should make a retaliclone that takes these mags, preferably pump-action and shaped like a warhammer boltgun
The only problem with that is breech alignment with the mag. The breech would have to be flexible so it could accommodate the staggered darts. That would mean you can't make a sealed breech for it either so it will limit what it could do for performance
That Dominator is SO powerful that it's right tearing the heads off those darts.
I’m curious to why your dominator has issues running accufakes. One of the guys at Cataclysm was using accufakes in his dominator
Could be a wide variety of things, I plan on doing more testing and hammering this all out before I need to use it.
@@WalcomS7 it could be weather and location some of the darts I have won't fit in a brass barrel/breach don't know why, this is with my sharp fire brass breach kit ,I'd they are not new they won't even load...and if it does load even a k26 won't shoot them out, so have no idea what's up, it's only a last resort but meh...it's still funny watching people try to prime that thing lol

I would totally check the dominator out, but I can't spend $262 for it on NF strike.
That's for a fully kitted out one with a lot of accessories. You don't need more than the shell, a magazine, and a flywheel cage to start.

I love my dominator. I only have 1 cage in it because im going to build it up slowly but i just got my krakens in the mail today. I need a pair of fangs and im set for motors. I have the neo worker motors and "titanium" aluminum flywheels to try and keep the rpm down (i have no idea if that is an accurate statement) along with a silver cage even though I ordered a titanium one. Im waiting on the cheap polycarb cages from worker to throw in for the time bwing but will eventually put in al least another metal cage. Accufakes work just fine for me. Watch me jynx it but my dominator has never jammed, misfed or had the clip sieze up and not feed. I use it on the daily to chase hobos out of the shopping center I work at when they recuse to leave. I toss a jolt at them and say "fine youre gonna play with me then while youre here." They usually leave or chase me and geg tricked into running off of the property.

Well, that was therapeutic enough to make me want one. I won't be run'n all them flywheel sets there cuz I kinda wanta be able to reuse my darts sometimes. It looks really cool for display and Video. Now, you'll have intimidation factor as well every time somebody sees Walcom, they may run screaming.
Dominator looks great, the only thing is the price, I understand why but it is more than I expected

11:30 is that 600RPM? That sounds like AK speed and AKs are around 600RPM....
10 darts per second is absolutly possible, people have gotten up to 30 darts per second.

The dominator is a cool blaster, but fairly impractical for games at my school seeing as we have a 100fps limit, and are moving towards waffle darts only.
It uses a 44 dart mag. Just remove two of the cages to get it at 100 fps and possibly find a waffle dart that will feed alright into that cage.

Sounds like 700-800 RPM on the absolute highest setting, and 600 RPM on the second-highest setting.
