The Pewpew is what happens when you combine the Glock's shell, the Tec 9's mag system, and the Woozi's firing speed. Its just a purely genius nerf invention.
I feel like anything that's in that high of a price range can't restructure nerf to some major extent, due to the fact of how few people will be able to get their hands on them. It's an amazing piece of blaster tech for sure, but the blasters that really shake up nerf are the ones that bring good features and performance down to an affordable price. The Dart Zone Pro Mk.1.1 wasn't what made a big splash, the Nexus Pro was.
@@mainstay. The Caliburn isn't relatively too expensive. But price wasn't the reason why the Caliburn was such a huge game changer in our hobby. It was because the Caliburn was the first open-source blaster. God bless Captain Slug for doing that. You don't have to get onto a long waiting list to get one. You could build one yourself or buy one from 3rd party builders.
It's pretty slick but man that price tag stings. I find that all the extra features are cool and all but for me I'd probably just set it on full auto 10 darts per second-ish and leave it like that. great blaster, excellent idea, but no way in hell I'd pay 500$ CAD for a bunch of features I'd never use. if it hit harder maybe. but 130-160 isn't as crazy high as I'd want for something that costly. nice video and cool blaster but i don't think it's for me.
@@WalcomS7 Yeah i agree but i just feel as if other machine pistols like the lepus or woozi would do almost as well at a much lower price tag. The pew pew looks like one of the best options but i just don't think it's worth paying triple or more then the other options. it's got features i'd pay an extra 100$ or even 150$ for. not an extra 300$.
PSP slider sticks are frankly fantastic multipurpose parts for a wide array of electronic builds. As a modder/restorer of tech I've always wondered why I don't see them used more. This is a great use of it. So elegant!
It's often the case that the people who make advancements in any given hobby, craft, etc. are the least experienced as they have zero preconceived notion of what is and isn't possible and are therefore more willing to try unorthodox methods to achieve their goals
This video came up for me and being a former paintball player we had triggers that fire when you pull and fire when you let off. Made for a fun two shot setup
Okay, the full auto mag dump immediately brought to mind some of the crazy Vladof machine pistols in the Borderlands series of games. Now if only the body were shaped a bit more like a Skorpion machine pistol... Or, slap some digital camo on it as is, put it in burst mode, and you have a very convincing Dahl pistol for Borderlands cosplay.
Wow. I don't play Nerf but that is impressive. I used to play loads of paintball and build the guns. That is an impressive bit of kit with some excellent product design. Great video, I'll be back!
when i saw the raycon ad at first i was like "NOOO HE GAVE IN" but then i was like "you know what, he needs the money." but put the ad at the end of the video next time.
this thing is very cool but for the price i could buy an actual 9mm pistol , and a decent 9mm pistol. props to the guy that did the engineering it is beautiful.
Yeah I wouldn't recommend a foam Dart blaster for home defense. Now after you have that taken care of and want something fun to play with that doesn't cause any real damage..m
WoW! Absolutely incredible blaster. With an absolutely insane price... I can definitely see solenoids being banned at some point for competitions if they're gonna be this price restrictive. I'd love to see an accuracy video
Hopefully in a few years this will be the future of blasters, and mass production will lower the cost a bit. I prefer airsoft as a hobby but since it might become banned soon here in Canada, I could see dart blasters like this becoming the replacement if it becomes more affordable. That's if the new laws don't outlaw high FPS blasters..
They’re trying to ban air soft now? If they do, your new hobby should be fighting back against government overreach. We have to stop just accepting everything they do to us.
WALCOM LOOK UP, “Homemade old mega darts” this can change the hobby, it only has like 300 something views on it. So please spread the word you are a bigger RUclipsr people will actually notice.
I don't have a Kestrel to compare, but I did try to buy 2 Kestrels because they had all the hardware needed for select-fire so I thought I could get a select fire one. It's literally only missing a 3-position switch or something like that. I also believe it's much smaller than a Kestrel.
As cool as this thing is, it costs so freaking much, and for 1/3 of the price I could get a Lepus V2, which would be less cool, but still have the ridiculous firerate (and possibly mod it to have an adjustable firerate).
Yeah. Played it for a bit. It's okay but you die super fast in this one and shooty-punch is still SUPER annoying. God I hate melee in shooting games unless it's like a weapon you have to swap to.
I'd love this if it looked like a tek-9 as it's basically just a Glock with a forward mag currently. With a little redesign it would look almost identical to a real tek-9, though I'm sure I'm the only one who wants that being a firearms nerd.
so basically its just tiny drone motors with a tiny solenoid with a tiny screen with a psp joystick (and yes, i noticed that it was from a psp) and they somehow made this thing barely take up any room while still basically being fully functional but also with select fire. dang.

Walcom I saw it can I be freind
anyone else hear Dart zone's dev team crack there necks when those chrony numbers were done?
no thank you
dude raycons are awfull and not that cheap theyre only 20bucks cheaper then my ACTUALLY premium earbuds
@@Omabatfartsbruh :(
So can we talk about how man gets to play with Nerf guns all day that sounds nice
ngl it's pretty rad sometimes.
You know somethingwelcoms7 that gun is like Nerf gun Go brrt know what I meanNothing fires it sounds like that in a way
@@WalcomS7 Is it as rad as a 50 round drum mag on it?
Other than editing its probably so fun dude
The life for sure.

Another thing is availability which dart zone lacks outside of the US and Canada.
The Caliburn definitely restructured nerf when it came out.

Because parents generally aren't going to buy little Timmy any dart gun that costs more than $80
Even if you have the money you can't get them, I've been waiting for months and they guy has sold about 13 of them
I could never justify that cost, but it is such a fine looking/functioning blaster. Very nice!
Same I want it but being "younger" I can not justify it.

That's fair, but power isn't everything. My FDLs hit only slightly harder, despite being much larger and having worse trigger feel on the select-fire.

So this is essentially a TEC-9 for nerf, the technology we have now is just incredible, the price is not as nice but i can understand why.

The magazine isn't in the pistol grip so not quite. The pistol grip used on it is just a straight up 3d printed copy of a glock pistol grip
That is kind of an insult to this device considering how shit tec-9s are.
Alright then, "Tec-9" in looks. Still a incredible 3d printed nerf blaster and nothing but respect for the creator. Is that better?
@@atomic... tec-9 magazine is not in the grip silly boy. Also, the Tec-9 is not fully automatic. why buy this when you can buy an actual gun?
And now in July of 2024 We have the VENOM PRO

I managed to lose the footage of you dualwield mag dumping...

It’s biggest upside is probably also it’s biggest downside, which is that it looks exactly like a glock.
No doubt
I love glocks
I guess you’ve never seen a glock
That is, until you actually load the damn thing. I'm pretty sure Glocks don't have a magazine in front of the grip.
Ooh! 430 dart challenge? Yes, Please!
The pew pew look like one of the Theodore guns from borderlands that when it out of ammo you throw it and it exploded
Bomberman hero music took me back
when kamen rider poppy has her own personal weapon 😂

It uses a PSP joystick I love that.
Really unusual to have a built in computer just to change the firing speed but pretty creative and looks pretty sweet actually

Works good on humies!
Wow awesome blaster!
add voice recognition make it the dread gun. "Burt fire!"
absolutely brilliant
Solenoids are the damn future on flywheel pistols now. I wish i knew about them when i made my lego flywheel pistol. lmao.
$435
**Slowly dying**
Yeah, really sucks. I can't justify spending that much money on a blaster right now and they're never going to release the files so I could print one.
Bomberman Hero soundtrack
this gets a little odd past 25 year olds... its not a hobby, it's a childs toy. Especially since your "range", is a fenced front yard.
Tip. Dont have a Fucking big magazine on a Small pistol: You can not lay on the ground (suchts as snipers)
You know a blaster is good when it forces Walcom to drop a Jolt.
Personally I just use a 45acp though if you want them to respawn then that works too.

this is actually a little smaller than a kestrel with a lot more features
Bro I instantly clicked the link thinking it was to buy the gun
This needs to be modeled to look like the Lawgiver from Judge Dredd and add voice commands to change fire modes.
FUN FACT: This gun fires at about 40rps (rounds per second). Most modern miniguns fire at around 50 rps.
Overpower
I love the grip and trigger guard profile. It reminds me of the G17. Just good or regular size hands.
does it run doom??

Quality before quantity is what they're going for
Nice.
If I get one of these I will dress it up to look like a C96 machine pistol type of abomination.
With it's form factor (minus the size), ergonomics, side display, and features, I can totally see someone rocking this thing in a Judge Dredd cosplay.
its cool, but i can buy a real glock for 400 bones... wtf.
Imagine a 50 round drum omg
Image the rich kid coming to a nerf war dual wielding this

Drac brought one of those to the most recent SENC war. IT. IS. SO. COOL!
