Hearing this just makes me happy!
Incredible sounding tones regardless of the pickup configuration!! Highly versatile.
Sounds amazing. But so much delay. Would love to hear just the amp
Incredible playing and incredible amp!
Love your videos and your playing Lance. Great amp!
Oh and just brought one home yeeeee!
Absolutely Awesome! Great video!!
Dislikes by two Kemper users
Hahahaha good....but wait you might be right !!!
Have a kemper. It’s how I even discovered this amp.
Lance would you please go on the road and share your playing live! Great demo!
Sounds fantastic and the Reverb is ok. for me (exept the AC/DC sound) !
Hi Lance, as always you have that killer sound. Great! Seems that you and George's works of art are an awesome combination.
Does "semi open back cab" mean that the whole cab is semi open or do you have a combination of a closed AND an open pair?
I was curious about the little bass and treble knobs at the old input 1 portion jacks....you mentioned them but never went back to it. kinda be cool if we could check out how they are applied. I too love these amps....its like you can finally own a vintage marshall and have it be one of the magical "good" ones without the old component reliability issues. thx for the demos.
It's odd to me that every demo I've heard with these amps, at least with George doign them, they've sounded WAY too loose, woofy. Not knocking George, or the amp....people hear tone different ways. But, this is the first time I've heard one of his amps sound articulate, and tight, with a killer focused, growl. With most of these amps there's MORE than enough gain, it's getting that gain tight, percussive, and focused, that's the tough part. I think that's partially because, 99% of these players are lead players, and are dialing in these tones to make one string, while playing lead, to sound big, and thick. Then when they go to play a chord, the whole thing falls apart. To this day, I have no idea what these amps sound like when playing rhythm style playing. This was a first. And, for the few seconds Lance played like that, it sounded spectacular. Again, I have a MASSIVE amount of respect for Metropoulos amps, I just have never heard anyone demo the amp in that context.
Sound fantastic !!!
where is the reverb or delay coming from?
sounds killer to me!
Do you like it better than the metro plex?
great sounding amp and the LP clone is gorgeous! but why have any efx on when demo-ing an amp? lose the delay.
What's Kemper
don't bother
Hey Lance, what's that strap you're wearing? It's simple and cool.
same here, came for the amp, stayed for the strap
Why so much delay?
Because it sound cool !!!!
Tonal Tenacity. Can I get this in a 50 watt head ?
there is a 50w switch at the back
R u also running it through the board?
the 'boost' and 'mode' knobs are push-pull, why is that ?
George designed and included a matching footswitch for these functions which also has a loop function. You can use either the front of the amp or footswitch. All good. The master volume on all Metropoulos amps is outstanding. Plus, the boost has it's own eq which is like another channel.
great
Isnt it the DLV ?
No it’s the superplex
was your verb in the loop or post....and if so what verb do you use....thanks
Opa !!
The reverb and delay is annoying!
