THANK YOU soooo Much for presenting this video!!! I have had the worst luck with mechanics just being dishonest. I had one leave a piece of plastic on the spark plug justt to prolong work and convince me to spend 900 dollars for a head job!!. I wish your work shop was in my area❤
Very good demonstration. Thanks It seems that the same technique didn't change in Hyundai and Kia cars for the newer models. That was the same in my old Elantra and my Kia Forte.
My Breden yardman I just replace my 2011 Elantra fan assembly just now January 12, 2021 815 pm. I had to cut off tie down from lower part off hose from old fan n used another one for the new assembly. All good car not running hot no more . My fuse is ok . I still needs to do flush n change thermostat n water pump . Hopefully our friend a mechanic can come do this for me . I don’t have jack or tork wrench for this . Thanks again big ups man happy new year .
Thank ya yardman giving out information on removing fan assembly here. My ELANTRA is 2011 that need this done man. Happy new year 2021 to ya n ya family
also just to address the part where the fan doesn't turn on at 15:17... it is because the fan in this vehicle will not turn on until the engine bay is hot enough to where the thermostat will tell the computer that things are getting hot and the fan needs to turn on.. also could be a blown fuse
Hey man what was the fuse that got burned out because I’m working on a Hyindai Elantra 2013 with a broken coolant tank and broken fan that I’m replacing soon
@@joshisnickl5746 yeah man that happened to me🙃 I ordered because none of my local shops have it so I gotta order it online and keep on adding coolant everyday
@@Velotooslow Yeah it sucks I feel ya especially with no heat in the winter 😭. Even after replacing my coolant tank assembly I still have a leak going on somewhere , ordering a thermostat as we speak
My ac don’t work I checked everything and still don’t turn on the ac Compressor don’t get voltage do you think it’s the fan ? That don’t work and it’s not letting the AC compressor engage
Saludos, es normal que pases ambas cosas dependiendo de que temperatura se escoja en el panel a/c. Ahora, un prendido y apagado muy corrido puede indicar refrigerante muy bajo, si es así la cabina no estará enfriandose bien.
Hi I have the same problem goin on with my 2019 Hyundai Elantra. First problem Ive been havin is the oil consumption, maybe three times since Ive had the car it didnt wanna crank up at first. Just a month ago the heat stopped working right before the weather change. Now its overheating and my fan is also not working. I've changed out the thermostat, cooling temperature sensor, and the PCV oil valve. I just have to drain the coolant and top off my oil. Im bout to go get a fuse for the fan and see if its the cause of the problem. But do you think that flushing out my heater core would do any good for the heat not comin out of the vents?
@@DULLAHGOSOHARD thanks brother n can do vlog on this or explain it . I buy the fan n was gonna have my friend he mechanic do it. But he have done it yet . His work schedule an issue. So am thinking bout doing it myself.

Thanks from 2023 hombre. Can confirm, 2019 exactly the same under the hood. Part is the exact same. Do this yourself gentlemen 😎.

He did good on explaining. I'll give him that
Hey man what was the fuse that got burned out because I’m working on a Hyindai Elantra 2013 with a broken coolant tank and broken fan that I’m replacing soon
Thank you this helped me out so much❤
thanks for this video. is it safe that you have folded the hose?
Is the cooling fan in these cars dual speed ( Low and high)?
How similar is this to the 2021 Elantra? My coolant reservoir is “melted” as the dealer says. They want to charge $750. But I could do this for $150
Thanks for the video. I have to replace one on customers car in the morning....
Extremely helpful, thank you sir!
Did u replace just the fan or the whole thing?
How long did it take to from begging to end to replace the fan?
Awesome work! 😁
Thanks for the video man!
If only the coolant recovery tank broke, can I change just the coolant recovery tank? that is, the white reserve tank that is attached
Always check your cooling fan resistor first before you change your fan
how would I check that?
What if your coolant tank is broken ☠️ It’s a whole piece

Good job, bro! You helped me a lot!
Please do more videos on Hyundai cars. Your DIY demo was spot on. I can practically fix my car myself. I hope to see you do more videos. Cheers
I have alot more videos on hyundai cars
@@DULLAHGOSOHARD really? OK then, I will search and view if there are videos for my 2016 Hyundai Avante with a Diesel engine. Thanks
First time hearing a hyundai name avante i had to google it lol but it's is call an elantra here in the state you thought me something new today
@@DULLAHGOSOHARD it's a pleasure
Cool!
The radiator and condenser in my 2014 Elantra are bent. If I can straighten them out, is it safe to drive?
Awesome video, thank you!!
Could it be the Auxiliary fan resistor that goes bad and not the fan?
yes, but highly unlikely. we just went through same issue, replaced resistor and fans are still shorted. I would replace whole assembly
My ac don’t work I checked everything and still don’t turn on the ac Compressor don’t get voltage do you think it’s the fan ? That don’t work and it’s not letting the AC compressor engage
Thank you BIG UPS! 🙂🙂🙂
Can the reservoir be taken out and replaced without replacing the whole fan ?
Nope you the fan shout and the reservoir is made in one

It could be a clogged heater core or a bad ac actuator that switch from cold to heat
@@DULLAHGOSOHARD where exactly would the AC actuator be located at?
Hey the problem with that car was only the fuse man…that fan change was overkill…
Great video thank you so much bro
Hey question I have 2014 Elantra and only two out of 4 of my ac fans are blowing on the dash... do you think I still need to change my ac fan or
No sound like a bad ac resistor or your ac control is going bad
Awesome! Did you flush the radiator Before starting?
I didn't no need to if you're just changing the fan
@@DULLAHGOSOHARD thanks! Elantra engine is the same as the veloster so it should be simple
Hey, nice video, bro! I have a Elantra 2013, can i do this for myself?
Yes you can
Yard,an is there any much difference between my 2011 ELANTRA to this one ya doing here
Yes but not much

Do you have a link to where to find the new part?
Yes check in the video description
Did you have to drain coolant before doing?
No
Can you just replace the reservoir
no, the fan assembly comes with one regardless
Replacing raditor fan 2022 hyundai elantra
It's mean your old fan was ok
not necessarily. It was damaged and could have tripped the fuse. I thought about it too.
Love you man. ❤ thank you for your nice videos very helpful. Thank you.
