Hi, when you checked for leaks in the radiator , did you use just regular water or Distilled? Secondly, how do you burb the system. does the Elantra have a bleeder valve? Thank you!
You did it so effortless. I know im going to catch hell but ill try my best to follow this. What's a good site to order my radiator from other than amazon?
Awesome video. I had my belts snap while on the way to work, which eventually caused my radiator to over heat and crack. Luckily no blown head, but this video has been extremely helpful in replacing mine.
How to remove the coolant reservoir bottle? Do you have to remove the fan assembly to do that? Unless I'm missing something, I don't see any other way to get the room to do that.
Without having it in front of me I couldn’t say exactly. But it’s possible! Sometimes I find it helpful to look up the part online then I can look at the picture and see where the fasteners are!
@@BudgetMechanicHawaii Thanks for responding. I figured it out. After removing the two bolts that hold the bracket in place, you remove the bracket and then pull the cable for the alternator away (don't have to disconnect it) and angle the bottom of the reservoir to the driver's side and push it downwards and out of the engine bay.
Shane Crowton actually I usually buy parts from the local auto parts store. It might be a few bucks more than ordering online but it’s worth it to me to be able to see the part in person and be able to return easily if it’s the wrong one.
I haven't removed a radiator in a about 50 years, but I'm going to use this video to do it. Great presentation and great camera work.
thank you so much for showing me how to do this so clearly and effectively! Going to change my radiator using this for help :)
