Bottas and Albon seems like a really solid foundation to keep it clean/consistent and help develop the car in the Williams rebuild.
Gives time for Kimi to improve, Bottas is a solid driver with a background at Merc so he knows the engine, he's good with James and Albon's a done deal and he's been in the sport for a long time so he can give good feedback to improve the car.
Valtteri to Williams for 25 would be pretty perfect for Williams.
When he was in the same car as Hamilton there were times he was faster over a single lap. That is saying something so I hope he gets a points scoring car next season.
Bottas is a very consistent, fast and reliable driver, rumors are Sargent is out and Bottas is in at Williams and a contract is already written up.

Why are people so obsessed with “out the old drivers, let new drivers”, yeah there are drivers with great potential, but that doesn’t mean that the veterans deserve it less. This is a serious sport. Not every driver has to be a 17 year old whose balls haven’t dropped yet.
Because no one stays young forever and with only 20 seats, veteran or not, it's extremely competitive to keep your seat in F1.
Bottas is showing he has pace though, even in the sh*tbox of a Sauber and I don't think anyone wants him to leave.
I would be very happy for him to join Williams and be paired with Albon.
Also. Stroll is a veteran at this point....with over 150 races now, please tell me his 'serious' reason as to why he is still in the sport???

I've never seen a team screw their drivers so completely and totally, then turn around and blame them for not performing to the point that they basically fire both of them before the season is even halfway done.
Valtteri deserves WAY better than Sauber....and I'd even go so far as to say Zhou deserves a true chance as well.
Bottas has never been that good and he continues to get worse. Zhou has never been F1 material 🙄🤦🤦♂️

VB would do so well at Williams. Both AA & VB are calm and have their composure. Their insights would be great for williams development path. I personally want VB to stay at F1 for years to come. He totally deserves it.

Bottas was an excellent #2 at Mercedes, but I guess the Sauber shop doesn't live up to it's name lately. Not sure what changes or upgrades Sauber/Audi have planned, but at this point, I think Williams, or even Haas would be a move up.
Bottas is a really good driver. He’s been one of the few drivers who’s beat Lewis using the same equipment. Give him a good enough car and he will score wins.
What do you mean? Most of Hamilton's teammates have been faster than him at times, just not usually over the course of a season. (Not was Bottas.)
Bottas should also be listed as a possible Mercedes driver. Kimi could be set into Williams for 1 year to allow him to develop himself before taking the Mercedes seat, making Bottas a seat warmer

@dangermade Because max’s car is the hardest to drive on the grid and also it was 5 years ago so Bottas hasn’t shown this pace since he left Mercedes (and even before) Anybody can be on a great day like Pastor Maldonado in Spain

I feel like what happened to bottas few years ago was unfair he lost he’s seat when a lot of different teams had signed new drivers for multi year contracts he didn’t have an option to choose from, and Sauber has been nothing but sh to be honest .
Bottas / Albon would be a solid line up for Williams. Kind of full circle for VB since that's where he started.
If i were in carge of a team he would be one of my pick ups along with a promising rookie from f2 hopefully he could take a mentor position and decrease the risk of the rookie being a bust

People seem to conveniently forget that in equal machinery on his best days he could beat a 7 time world champion and on the average day he was usually right behind him. He’s a really good driver who just lacks a competitive car.
Not gonna lie Bearman and Bottas or Albon and Bottas makes a lot of sense
They need to stop depending on the veterans who haven't achieved much in the last two to three years and recruit new, young drivers. If a tire loses its grip, don't replace it with another that hardly has any grip. Get a new one.
Cause the young drivers like Zhou, Sergeant, Mick, Latifi and Mazepin have achieved so much in F1.
Tyres don't come with years of experience working on the front line. Bottas does.
Bottas would be good for Haas because he was a great teammate to Zhou in his rookie year, and a race winner which I don’t think they’ve had before. With Williams they just know they’ll get on fine and he’s a safe pair of hands.

@@vojtechnovacek7776 Russel is not a rookie anymore, he needs to be able to fill Hamilton's shoes when he leaves. Something tells me he won't be able to tho, the team has been listening more to George regarding the car design and well... you can see they're only falling back.

They won't be fighting for the championship next year either so it wouldn't be a catastrophe if they favoured a more long-term strategy instead of needing two "proven" drivers in their cars next year. Not at all saying that they will but they do have options.

Why Bottas isn't in a front running team I don't know. He's one of the best drivers on the grid. Should be at Red Bull instead of Sergio Perez.

I'm calling that next year Bottas will go to Mercedes, while Kimi will be in the Williams. Then for 2026, Kimi comes up cause what better time to join a team than with new regs and grid reshuffling. They'll swap and Bottas will finish his career at Williams.
