Philips hue, smart air sensors, Kohler smart products, nest products, smart appliances etc etc. None of what she showed is new in some of the projects we have constructed. Even larger ecosystems and integration is possible such as legrand smart electrical grids. This is all integrated into Google assistant so its fine but to be honestly isn't the first of its kind. This can be achieved with "over the counter" purchasing.
When she said, "Hey, Google, I'm going to bed," my phone picked it up and tried to make a new bedtime for me with an alarm.
That entrance door was not smart enough that's why you had to push it.

I think the future home will be NFC and cross device among family members

KB Home is the first company to do a smart home of the future? What about Lennar? What about Google? Smart home technology is no where near where it needs to be for this to even be a realistic option. Give it about 4-5 more years until you really consider this. Early adopters will be EXTREMELY disappointed.
