"Our buffet has the best food. I'll throw down with anybody."
That's the kind of energy I want every buffet chef to bring.
@Leonardo's Truth I have, and it was indeed VERY good food
She knows the boss is watching.
@Marauder Мародер Rude.
Fly away buzzard, fly away crow, way down south where the winds don't blow. Rub your nose and give two winks and save us from this awful jinx.
Honestly, you can find the same energy in every episode of kitchen nightmares with chefs/owners
*If the chef cares about what the customer thinks then he/she truly cares about what he/she dishes out...well done!*
Could you not have just put “they”
Not really not evey one what they are talking about.
They dont care. Its just for show and on screen.
Delicious!!! Located at Exquisite #CaesarsPalace
I like how humble she is in the way she bosses her workers. She doesn't yell or makes them feel ashamed or stupid, instead she just corrects them and makes them feel good to work with her. She is amazing. Plus she gets involved hands on hands with them, not just sits around.
Yup. Reminds me of a boss I had at a local grocery store. We had orientation at a building across the street, and on the way over to the store, my boss told us new recruits to head into the store, while he went into a neighboring parking lot to grab a shopping cart that some customer of ours had taken off premises. He could have had any of us do it, but he did it himself. This guy was always working. If he was walking from the back of the store to the front, he would face the shelves (move stock to the front) on the way. He was always stopping to pick up little pieces of paper or whatever off of the floor while on his way to somewhere else. It made everyone else OK with doing that as well. He didn't just order people around.
Hopefully she’s the same way off camera lol
Marlene Valle I would totally work with her
Yup! She's great huh.
If you have worked in a kitchen, you have seen the chef(!) throwing pans and spats.
She's the boss and yet serves the line like anybody else !
True leader!
Or she just did it this time to look good on camera.
@@cosmancho2959 That buffet is known to be one of the best in Vegas. That doesn't happen if you check the line once because a camera is there. She does this all the time. You can tell by watching how she does it and by their reputation.
That's how it should be arriba Latinos coño
For THIS production.
She seems like such a respectable and demanding head chef. Props to her
Demanding yes she got that lolz
When you run a huge business like she does, I think you would want everything to be perfect.
Master chef?
Far from a master, only in her little mind...
I so agree. It's an exceptionally demanding head chef position, in charge of all aspects of both cooking and support/supplies. I don't think she ever sits on her shift except for lunch break, constantly checking the taste of the food and its appearance, constantly checking the functionality of all the equipment, etc. I don't think I could handle such a position.
Sees a negative Yelp review, sees if it is a legit complaint, fixes it before next service... Wish all restaurants were all this good
@Uncle Ed Are you serious? It's how you become the best, Ed. Its in her best interest to fix the problems in the complaints.
That one bad comment stayed on the top of her mind all morning. That is committment to being the best.
@Uncle Ed yep just for show. That's why it's such a low rated buffet and why they get so little customers.
Koldeman doesn’t she have terrible restaurant reviews though lol
@Ashton mullins Yeah. That comment was sarcastic, although it’s hard to tell through text.
I have worked in a number of restaurants with buffets and as a banquet chef, this chef is an ass-kicker and I would love to work for her. Bravo chef.
and she's adorable also … so funny.. "I work my ass off" lol sorry I said ass, I work my butt off...
@@eolsunder I believe the original term. ass(f##king would be my insertion). I accept the apology. Most mildly accepted terms are OK.
Respect to you sir. Chefs are my heroes
@Uncle Ed I like cashews
This woman is a force of nature!!! I'd go to Las Vegas just to eat here!!!!!!!! Bravo to her and her staff!!!
That's all I wanna go for...first thing would be the fruit kitchen for me...get full..hit joint I hit n put up...smoke a cig n do it all over again
I’ve been there and I can confirm that it is delicioussss
I admire that she actually reads their bad yelp reviews and try to improve upon it, Wow.
Every business should do that.
As someone in the food and services industry for 10 yrs I say its impossible to make everyone happy. Anything 3/5 or above I say is good!
Yelp is not authentic though
Getting customer feedback is important, but it may not be accurate. So it's more to be taken as a guide, rather than an absolute fact that you have to react to. (Even if the review itself is truthful, it's colored by memory bias - if you had a bad time, you'll remember more things as being bad, and vice versa if you had a good time.)
Yelp is mostly filled with "never gonna be happy" old shits. They are the only ones still using it.
@@rividizd wrong attitude.
I've lived in Vegas for over 15 years.. I've tried EVERY buffet... this is hands down the best buffet!!! EVERYTHING was good and FRESH!! I literally got so full the last time I went, I had to take a nap in my car in the parking garage before I could even drive to go home...😭😭😭😭
If you have to take a nap after eating a decent sized meal you might want to get checked for Diabetes.
How expensive was it ?
You get what you pay for.
kevin morison sir... thanks Dr!🙄
Joelles about $50 per person. Definitely not cheap.
In May I stayed in Vegas for five days for EDC2019. My friends and I went to the Bacchanal two times for breakfast and one time for dinner and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend this place and the bottomless mimosa are sooo good ☺️ the lady serving them didn’t allow my glass to go empty. She was stealthy like a ninja just refill after refill 😂 I love this place
Would that be for network marketing?
How much is the buffet?
$45 seat for buffet
@@aussie1546 $45? Dang we should’ve gone to that one. We went to the MGM grand one and it was like $80 and was ok
@@mrquelowhat274 $80! That's insane. I never ate at MGM. I think the top 3 are Caesars, The Wynn and Cosmo and pretty sure they are all in the $50 range.
I love how she appears to be respectful in her approach towards staff and follows up with a thank you, great job etc... a very important quality in a leader.
A lot of people don't get to see this side of Las Vegas. The prep that goes behind a tourist's favorite amenities. All the chefs, dishwashers, and janitors. The blue collar backbone of Las Vegas. Real Vegas people.
Private Vision 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
You can say that about any job. Lol
You can serve the best food on the planet, vegas is still a dump
99% itll be latinos and to think some methed out people hate us
@@bbgub5748 Lmao. Ok buddy
Notice how she uses "we" instead of "I" when she talks about being the best.
Astrid Gonzalez
Yea I also notice how she said we never stop while she is outside taking a breather talking about “this must be how Celine dion feels like before a big show”🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Corporate mentality. What? Did you think you were discovering something incredible. LMFAO
@@christianlemelin9862 I was pointing out why she's successful... When you celebrate your team's wins and don't toot your own horn all day. Might be new for some mediocre managers out there though.
I've worked for corporate. I've met hundreds of chefs like her and their all lazy. As for the "we", well....if you're in front of 20 employees, and you say "I am the best".... your not gonna last very long. It's 100% corporate. She looked pretty ordinary to me.
@Son Le WTF did you just say?😂
I got tired just watching her work. That woman has stamina.
I miss working and having good bosses. It seems most of my adult life I've worked for complete psychos

It always warms my heart to see someone immigrate to the US, climb the ladder and achieve success doing something they are passionate about, like this lady. Such an inspiration!
Here’s a tip: buy the 24hr/$100 buffet pass(any Caesar own buffet property) start w dinner comeback the next day early for breakfast, do lunch and finally back to dinner 👌🏽
PMC05 Great tip👍
Thanks for this!
Thx for the Tip Bro! ✌
Where do you buy this pass?

I love how she can be super demanding without being rude, or putting her employees down... the best kind of boss. Respect.
Absolutely. She's awesome.
Wow she is something else!! What a great chef, humble and with so much energy. Anybody in the food industry can look up to this lady!
I work there as a dishwasher 4 years and prep cooking after 9 years work there im proud my self work hard 7 days a week working holidays Christmas now I have my own company restaurants 11 total and restaurant distribution for meals and drinks
This woman is amazing, no wonder shes been there for 6👍 she makes sure everything is running smoothly and good. To be honest I want to go eat there because of her and this video 👌
Chefs are usually first in to turn on the lights and the last to leave to turn those lights off. It's a hard gig at any scale.
Thought i was the only one
Same!!!! Currently planning a Vegas trip because I’ll be 21 this year but this buffet sounds like a highlight of vegas
Jay Jay , I was thinking the same😋
And that’s why they made this video... what other buffet will you try? The one that’s advertised. Just as good as any other buffet. Nothing special. I live here.
Big props to the teams that make good buffet food. Serving huge quantities of people and ensuring the quality is consistent is tough.
somebody give this woman a raise! she's amazing. they are lucky to have her.
She owns the restruant. Go tp the restruant to give her a raise. More customers = more money. I dont think she wants more money, she wants her buffet to be as good as it can.
Don't worry.. She getting Hella paid🦜
@@rajinbraynard1080 She doesn’t own the restaurant , Caesar’s does.
My respect to this woman, this is a very hard job
“It takes a certain kind of crazy to be a chef..”. Amen to that sister. Great job. Bacchanal is the best!
I love the fact that she is willing to go in and do work on the line if her people need help.
I've worked in food service before and It felt like every manager just barked at you when there were problems and just made you feel bad for not being better.
This lady doesn't freak out on her people, she tells them what's wrong and supports them in getting everything done correctly.
i love this buffet; I go here every time I'm in Vegas through the years! Keep up the great work, chef Nunez!
Never wanted to go to Vegas untill watching this!!!Yum!!🍗
You gotta love the energy and confidence coming off of Chef Nunez! Another wonderful production, Eater.
I am pretty shure it must be "Nuñez" but who cares😂
Of course they only like comments that praise them...
"Our buffet has the best food. I'll throw down with anybody."
Gordon Ramsay, Leticia masterchef battle.
Edit: It's a wonder how anything you say can be turned political
Now everyone is the best is not a competition with any body is just with ourselves to be better everytime.
Ramsay actually has a restaurant in Vegas they get negative reviews all the time on Yelp
@@mahadragon Yelp extorts money from shops to keep good reviews..
Like she said, feeding 4,000 vs. Feeding 10. He can tune each piece of his dish until he likes it. Her team has to tune hundreds of pieces AS it's being served. Chef Ramsey can't compare in that aspect.
Aaannnd... i totally replied to a 2 month old comment.. i need to get off of RUclips comments when I cant sleep...
I love that this woman strives for excellence, and doesn't settle for mediocre. The fact that she actually takes the Yelp reviews that are less than 5 stars and tries to fix the issues that caused them is amazing.
“I’ll throw down with anyone!” I liked her immediately after hearing that! And she focuses on complaints daily to adjust service! Passion for perfection!
Some people are doing the job that they love so the little things that matter, they pay attention and fix them. Going the extra mile is their norm. This can't be said for everybody in the profession in which they work.
Her skills to delegate and organize is amazing. OMG I want to go to the buffet. Everything looks spot on.
I just want a bakery buffet, with the best pastries!
Really like that she went back on the yelp reviews and tried to improve on that, bravo to her
I give 5 stars!! Such strength and determination. Impressive supervision. I love how she leads by example and keeps a very close eye to detail. Magnifico!!
I've been gambling all my life...I've been to hundreds if not a thousand buffets. This buffet at Caesers palace the Bacchanal is hands down the best ever. Chef Nunez is phenomenal.
Her attention to the details, her expectation of excellence, the respect from the crew...
The urging and teaching and training never stops. She demands perfection and achieves it.
She goes through a LOT of spoons. (Some kitchens say: You have ten tasters, five on each hand).
Q, Why does Chef Nunez take such pains?

I envy Chef Leticia Nunez. She has such a passion for what she does! I wish I found such joy in my job. Like most people, a mix of practicality coupled with fear of risk, caused me to settle for a profession (i.e. desktop support/systems administrator in the IT field) that I consider to be mind numbing drudgery. At least if I can't be part of a profession that I have true zeal for, it is satisfying to see a person who works in a field that they truly love. Thank you for this video showing the sense of purpose that a fulfilling career can impart to a person's life.
I'm a chef. ..
But this woman exceeds all expectations. . That's literally an insurmountable job.
Totally astounding. Thank you so much for taking the time to share this. Deep respect and admiration. Now I understand what the buffet is at Caesar's Palace.
She runs a buffet like a table service restaurant... Tastes everything. That's nuts, but they have a line everyday and it's $50/head.
Or you get that Buffet Pass and it burns down to more like, $20/head
@Jeff Keeth I actually can't eat food that's bad quality, because I have thyroid disease, and I'm very sensitive to chemicals thst are sprayed on our food! Everything has to be fresh and organic! I don't eat at McDonald's ever, the food is very processed! I don't think the food here is all organic
Well we know what she eats daily. Lol
The moment when every time she says "Thank You" to her co-chefs eventhough she has a higher position compare to them literally shows how humble she is. ❤️❤️
Shes so humble and the way she interacts with her employees and makes corrections to her food from bad reviews is just wholesome. I wish more people were like her.
What a cool lady. Fun to see her and her team in action. She’s clearly a really good leader, very thoughtful, exacting, motivating and humble
As a car dealership owner, this video taught me a few things about quality control, inspection, and leadership. Thank you, Chef!
Really hardworking and dedicated, I can’t help but admire these strong and amazing people
I love that you show so much humble chefs on here, that is my goal is to be humble and consistent.
You know in Japan, an apprentice spends 3 years just to perfect cooking sushi rice. Man, it ain't easy!
Frederick Lim its a California roll, calm down 😂
Actually, it's more like 3 years of washing rice, let alone cooking : )
Another 5 years learning how to use the sushi knives
BS, an apprentice starts a regular sushi place, they're on rice duty on their first few days. I live in Japan. That perfect place you imagine exists only in your heads. There are more than 20000 sushi places only in Tokyo. If an apprentice took 3 years to make rice all those places wouldn't be able to find enough people to work for them.
@@ibec69 Im pretty sure they mean real deal top sushi rice. I’m not an expert but there’s a certain technique to make it, and many small aspects like washing it (how many times, how long, maybe even temperature of the water), the cooking method, water to rice ratio, vinegar amount, how to stir to steam properly, etc. Even when you got this down, it’s hard to keep it being consistent. There’s no chance all sushi places have experts making perfect rice, most of us wouldn’t/don’t feel the difference between perfect sushi rice and any sushi rice. This is why not every single sushi shop needs an expert, many people conform with some sticky rice.
She's a modern superhero. That buffet is so good and to see her literally on the line serving shows the attention and detail and care she puts in to every day.
Looks like 80% international's working there one thing I can tell you they work hard and always push to the next level I wish I could work there

I work for a local booking site (not going to name it but we are the biggest) and I always say that if you are looking for a buffet for people who want a buffet then go to Bacchanal, but if you are taking people who don't like buffets then go to Wicked Spoon which is at the Cosmo. Both are amazing, but Wicked Spoon feels more like a weird cafeteria for foodies, and Bacchanal has a lot of what makes an amazing buffet great, carvery station, multi-national/ ethnic food stations (that are actually traditional), amazing pastry and confectionery, and most importantly great staff.
Quixotic Phoenix Great description. These two are the best. Different, but truly great.
Tons of respect for this Chef and her team
Always inspirational to see someone passionate about what they do.
I've noticed that so many of the kitchen staff in US restaurants are from the Mexican state of Oaxaca. It's like they have a little niche that they excel at.
