  • Next up on our one season challenge where we try to take some of the worst teams in F1 manager to a title win in the first season we have Alpha Tauri, with the new 1.10 things are probably gonna be a bit more interesting and as usual we will be taking advantage of Alonso to make this possible.

    Right now the best strategy in Bahrain is: medium Attack 15 laps, then two light softs, pitting at lap 36

    how you are keeping track of which designs are just for xp gain and which are for manufacturing is quite impressive, especially with all slots available.
    I lose the overview on mine very quickly :)

    this is very interesting coming from a new player’s perspective, could you perhaps make a video where you go over what is the very best in terms of car development, qualifying and how to tell what race strategy to do?

    • @NeroBax
      @NeroBax  8 месяцев назад +2

      I do have videos like that on my channel, the qualifying video is outdated but the general idea is to send them out for a first run on older tires to build confidence before sending them on a run with fresh tires.
      For race strategy the video did get somewhat outdated by 1.10 but for the most part it is still relevant.
      Car development guide, or the beginners guide to everything should cover most of what you are wondering about I would think.

    Alonso in McLaren replacing the unrealist piastri AI did me wonders. Can't wait for 2024 manager where piastri is good 😂

    Can you do one with Alpine? I want to get them an early podium at Monaco.

      There isn't really anything in particular that needs doing differently but I will be trying to do this with Alfa Romeo after Alpha Tauri and then probably start with ALpine on the hard version of this challenge. So in the future I will be giving them a go.

    Would like to see this in Hard/Hard mode... i haven't touched standard difficulty since they introduced hard. And let's be honest, with these cornering builds and standard difficulty you can basically win with every team including some luck here and there :)

    • @NeroBax
      @NeroBax  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah I will be revisiting this whole thing on Hard in the future, for now the plan is to try and get this done with Alpha Tauri and then Alfa Romeo before giving it a go on hard.

    De Vries to Aston Martin 🤯 i didnt know they swapped straight up when you poach them.
    I'm a little behind on enjoying this game (and 23 is on Game Pass) and am with Alpine trying to make it work with Gasly and Ocon, so I havent seen a driver move yet. I am just wrapping up the first summer doing well on target, 5th in the championship. This is still early game, but I learned a lot from your videos to avoid crashes and develop parts correctly.
    Did you learn from your pit experimenting? I like to run them like theyre real people. Practicing pitting and one session of car building in the days leading up to the grand prix, and on off weeks developing gym training and resting during long breaks. 1.5-2 days of rest in a row every week. If i can swing it, one session of car building a week. It kinda drives me nuts when i see you give them over a week of rest or non-stop gym training 😂

    The windowlicker has potential so is a better second driver, Bottas is at the end of his career

    • @NeroBax
      @NeroBax  9 месяцев назад +1

      The goal for this one is just to try to win the championship in the first season, so potential is not really a concern.

    Why does Alonso drop from 90 to 86 in two months after the patch?

    • @NeroBax
      @NeroBax  9 месяцев назад

      Drivers ages will have a effect on stats drops, if their performance isn't great they drop off quicker.

    Why do you put your drivers to low overtake and rarely defend for race starts? Is it quicker?

    • @NeroBax
      @NeroBax  7 месяцев назад

      Rarely defend does make them slightly faster, but the main reason why is to lessen risk. By having them on these two settings I very rarely get into bad crashes so it saves alot of money in the long run.

    I just got the game, I'm about to choose teams for my first save, who should I pick between Alfa Romeo or Alpine?

    • @NeroBax
      @NeroBax  9 месяцев назад +3

      Alfa Romeo would be the equivalent of very hard in terms of difficulty while Alpine would probably be medium. If you know what you are doing picking Alfa isn't a bad thing but from a learning perspective picking Alpine would probably benefit you more.
