- This years speedrun will be done with Alpha Tauri and will be a savegame where I will be focusing on car development mainly, I will also be explaining to the best of my knowledge the new features and how you can take advantage of them as we go.
Seing as this is still a learning experience for me my opinions might change, but I will always try to share what I believe to be the most efficient way to progress. Hope you enjoy and feel free to ask any questions or give ideas in the comments, as I will be aiming at making guides for the game going forwards.
You might find me streaming the game aswell, as I am currently doing a McLaren stream save while making this series.

Big thanks to HarrySir for the thumbnail. - Игры
Keep in mind that I'm still figuring things out as I go, as a result I will probably come up with better strategies for development as the series goes on. First part ended up quite a bit longer than I intended, but I wanted to get the first few sets of upgrades out, to show how quickly you potentially can make a top 5 car in this game. Hope you all enjoy still even with the length. Will probably be back with McLaren sometime tommorow :)
Halfway through the ep. and I really like this format of content for f1 mngr23. Everyone else I watch is really focused on watching races and the like but this more in-depth on the nuts and bolts of team and car dev is enjoyable. Thanks!
It's like you made the game yourself and explain to the rest of us how it works. You have a nice understanding of this game and you transmit it very simply and efficiently. My Mclaren development took a huge step since i watched your videos.
Nice job!
Absolutely brilliant video. I've learned so much from just the 1st hour of watching. Planning on starting my own career with McLaren today so this was insanely benefitial. Thank you for posting this and keep making videos for us beginners on the more complicated things in the game such as design, researching and management! I'm blown away!
i released piastri halfway through the season, he was literally so bad in the mclaren while lando was fighting for points.
I just got this game on game pass on my console. I've got lots to learn. Ty for showing the manager aspect and not just the racing
Even though it is two hours long, loved the video (movie ahah) and the well explained steps of developing a competitive car and improving your pit times. Keep this up as i'm hoping to learn more from you!
Just finished watching this upload. Absolutely fantastic for a new player like myself. Thank you for your time and effort 👏
Quick note on the quali, if you take manual control and make your drivers push on the outlap theyll have thier tyres in the right temp window at the start of their flying lap. If you dont do this theyll start the first flying lap with very cold tyres. i also think this is reason the double flying lap has worked for you on occasion.
You deserve so much more subs man, made me look at the game from a different perspective.
1:00:49 for the softs I found that for going aggressive, you need at lest 5 to 10 C (below the overheating) and always switch down just before about 2C of overheating (you’ll still hit it but you’ll start to cool down again , which mean you can use it again faster .
I’m at round 11 with Alpha Tauri, currently 4th/5th best car, great explanations!
Brilliant. Don't play the game but love watching your videos.
Your're brilliant mate for someone like me who didn't have last years game keep it up.
thanks to you I understood how to update the machine, I developed the machine only with atr hours but I didn't think it could be updated like this, thanks so much for these 2 hours for better understanding the game, or the subtitles in Italian but thanks so much
Have enjoyed all the F1 manager content you have made. You play the game as I want to learn the game!!! Length of bud is longer the better imo. Great stuff
When it comes to design - that was really helpful! :D I hope that you will keep the videos coming :)
Let's gooo alphatauri speedrun is finally here
With the drivers, I decided to purchase Gasly before the 1st race. He is expensive yes but he performs really well. And if you develop your car well and make sure your drivers are well prepared for each race. You'll have a huge advantage at the beginning of the season
New sub here! Love the vids, i like how you explain allot its nice to watch!
Awesome info!🏁
Now the game is on GamePass time for me to try the game 😎
I have taken Williams as I am learning the game and nowhere near as good as you Neo. Hopefully won't get sacked in the first season.😅
I think you will do just fine :p Good luck!
sending cars out for 2 laps directly after each other in quali can give them an extra 5 tenths in time
looking to buy this game in the near future
nice video, for me the biggest issue with the game right now is that the race sim is wonky as hell.
Monaco being the biggest example, I qualify 9th with Norris and during the race I am a roadblock 3s off the pace from the likes of HAAS while pushing full out.
Restart the race couple of times and eventually you get a good "seed" and this doesn't happen anymore.
It just feels like the whole race sim is too random and the A.I. cars get extreme boosts for the sake of "challange".
Probably a result of confidence, as it can have some racing stats fluctuate quite a bit. If you get a good start and go to high or even peak confidence you could potentially get a 7+7+8 stat boost for your racing stats aswell as a 7+7 for overtake and defending.
Are you going to continue the mclaren series? Would love to see it go on
McLaren should be back tommorow, just a tad busy today which has resulted in me not being able to today.
Hey Nerobax. I'm in Norway!! I can come see you lol... Im joking
How would you rank the parts in importance this year how has that changed and how is the gap between the most important part and the least
Hi, great série. I was thought about Williams, but with this series… I would like to have a team to be champion (or very close) in 2 years. Alpha or Williams?
Haven't tried Williams yet but you can definitely fight for the championship in season 2 with Alpha Tauri, so I would assume you can do the same for Williams.
Toute une course de Lebeautrex j'avais l'air d'un vrai imbéciles aux premiers tours 😂😅
In your next video could you go over practices please I always do manual practice and in 22 using low pace helped out engine wear was wondering if same still applies
Also maybe how you would do a practice for a sprint weekend bc if you only have 1 practice how does that effect the set up of your car
Will probably come in the future, but they have added options for staying off dangerous kerbs which should have an effect on durability and drive in clean air which has an effect on engine temps which should slow down degradation.
Will probably test if low pace slows engine wear at some point but right now I dont know.
I’m only keeping de vries cause he got a 6th place in the Baku sprint race
Make him win the championship!
When your parts run out of durability, and the extra weight is added, is this a notable difference that needs to be sorted or is it something you can live with for a few races if need be?
Bit unsure what you mean, if your parts fail and you can compare them to see the loss in performance for using those older parts of yours, but you will have to use a part in every slot and depending on the design you will lose or gain performance, you can as I said check this when you are looking at the parts.
If you are asking in terms of manufacturing, you'd probably be perfectly fine running the older parts for a race or two while you wait for new ones to be manufactured, as you'd save a decent chunk of money.
what are the setups?(like you showed for bahrain) is there a video on them or if there isnt, could you make a video or comment them for me?
Ill probably make a video on them in the future, but you can find setups for the tracks here: f1setup.it/
You choose your edition (22 or 23 although to be fair setups are mostly the same) and you should see the setup there. That will get you close to 100% for most tracks if you do it manually, you can also then put in your results and the calculator will give you potential 100% setups.
@@NeroBax Thank you, this has helped me alot
Does running your reserve driver do anything in this years game? Don’t get any bonuses to them it seems not sure is it’s Broken?
Don't know honestly as I've yet to put much effort into having them run P1. Will probably experiment with raising the reserve driver at one point, but as of now my focus lies elsewhere unfortunately.
Stream?
McLaren should be back tommorow, just a tad busy today which has resulted in me not being able to today.
You know what I think you should hire……..off brand verstappen,I’m joking that’s only for the mclaren save ,so why not Drugovich or nololiv(I don’t know how to say his name)
Forgot who off brand Verstappen was lol. Was it Verschoor or someone else.
@@stevenjoseph6048 yeah its verschoor
They definitely made this one a lot more complicated that last year's😂
The nuance & complexity are great this year
Mann can you help me get out the negative
Going to need some more information.
Ricciardo is paid 3.5 millions as reserve driver in RB, but he wants minimum 14,5 milliond for alpha tauri. What a con arti😢
