Now with Heroes, Evil Heoes and Gandora Skills, your opponent will easily fill their graveyard for you! So you can go for Skullgios which is like Chaos Max Dragon. I decided to go with 22 cards and it's really important you try to draw some traps for Turn 1. If you don't, well maybe you're going 2nd and that's better for you! Gaia Plate is such an amazing Boss Monster, thus no one reads it! Ofc you can replace it with other Level 8 Rock like Uranus but... It's not the same. So try to use at least 1 copy. Fossil Warrior Skull King will be in most duels your Win Con. But you just need 1. Play some XYZ of your choice. Malevolent Sin is a good pick as well but choose wisely since you can only use 2 XYZ. Tackle Warrior is definitely the MVP in 80% duels. He defends and he clean some Spell and Traps (like that duel against Fluffal). Weathering Soldier is good at 2. You don't need more than that. You most like it in your deck rather than hand. The main combo is simple: Use Skill to send Gaia and add Miracle Rupture to send Weathering S. so he searches for Fossil Fusion and that's it. You have 2 materials using 1 card! Use staples of your choice but Dice it and Needlebug Nest are a MUST. I had a decent 8/10 winstreak. I was just playing it for a video but OH GOD THEYRE SOOOO FUN TO PLAY! Thus they remind me to my old Grass Greener deck. Also you're playing with Jim.... What else could you ask for? Am I missing something? Oh Shield Knight is a great defense as well. 2 copies enough as i said you want him and Weathering IN your DECK. He's Gaia Plate Bestie so use it to search it. Overall I had a BLAST playing Fossils. Surprisingly good and im 100% sure people are sleeping on them so this video is a proof they can do more than you think! Man, I love Konami putting more lore in the game these days. In this event Jim said he left duels after failing in his attempt of saving Judai from the Supreme King. That explains why he didn't appear in season 4 of GX!!! after all these years we have a canonical reason (If I remember correctly, it was never said in the series). So happy to see my Australian boi on DL
Yes, though canonically he does have at least 1 duel after season 3, as Darkness/Nightshroud canonically dueled everyone on earth and won during the events of season 4. So canonically this would mean he gave up dueling after season 3, noticed everyone in australia disappearing, dueled darkness/truman to put a stop to it, lost, got revived again, and quit it for good afterwards.
What's fun about Fossil deck is you can play it with Chronomaly, Triamid and other rock decks 😊👏👏 0:02 Also I see you pulling that Duel Links Meme intro 😂😂😉 nice one amigo!
Firstly that transition was artistry pure and simple, my friend. Chef's kiss. Secondly I knew Fossils and Jim would get a KOG easily when playing the trial deck. I'm still annoyed the majority of Fossils are locked in a pack but I must admit you only need 1 box a single reset after getting Weathering...I guess we can forgive Konami for being greedy here since you need less Fossils and they work even better than I thought they would without Adamancipators.

@@rukiakuchiki6293 nope, every monster that battles it has its attack halved unless you negate the effect with chalice, fiendish , breakthrough skill etc. Also in case anyone plays gaia , the field spell galloping gaia doesn't prevent this effect because is a continuous effect not a activatable one

Here’s the thing with fossils. They are a great deck with 2 formidable bosses, but if your opponent has necrovalley out you effectively lose immediately. Also if you want a more f2p version of the deck, running Grandmarg the Mega Monarch instead of Gaia Plate is a halfway decent choice

Great bro try the spell card "Dragged down into the grave" its really nice to help sending monster from opponent hand than fuse it with fossil fusion :)
Ngl I would love to destroy a Blue-Eyes player’s hopes with Fossils. Giving them false hope by sending Ancients to the GY only to use it as fodder for Skullgar or Buggy to deliver extra emotional damage

weathering soldier seems a bit confusing here because with miracle rupture and send it from deck to graveyard, u can add the card, but when i used it with rock bombardment, it cant add the card.

AI almost always use the traps during OP turn, not yours. But you barely summon Skull Warrior since you need Gaia Plate and if you draw it or search it AI won't use the skill to dump it lol
The Fossil cards have a great advantage in PVP. They have a spell which sends any monster from the deck to the graveyard, and then you can banish said monster with Fossil fusion. Example: Send Galaxy eyes photon dragon, and then banish it to fusion skull king or the Skull T-rex

You can play with Mega Monarchs. Most of the time you'll discard them, but sometimes you really want to summon it

You have to use 5 Fusions but they all have to be Fossils. So i.g you can't use Mudragon but you have 2 free slots for any Xyz
