I really really want them to keep the same Combat system that they used in Remake and Rebirth for Part 3.
I think they will likely keep it but with even more upgrades. Cid and Vincent playstyle and mechanics should help shape the combat system in the final part of this amazing project
Gambit system and triple tech synergy would be awesome. I would also love to swap in and out back line party on demand a la FFX.
I also want full airship exploration. Hamaguchi indicated it was their goal before, so here's hoping!
You're definitely onto something with the swapping out the party mid-battle. That one change would make a huge improvement!
It would be nice that Cloud can have have a dual sword fighting style like him in the Advance Children
That fusion Sword was awesome in Advent Children, being able to switch from heavy blade to dual wield. I wonder where he learned Dual Wield. 😂😂
Also update where you can go upstairs in the shinra mansion.
I’m still hoping for a ps5 pro update that fixes the blurry image quality on Rebirth. I really wish the picture was sharper.

@@willjohnboy I play in a more traditional living room set up and I sit about 15 feet away from the 55 inch HDTV and I don’t even notice it. When I get up close I can see it but I don’t know that I would wait just to play it based on that. If you’re playing on a monitor and you’re sitting right next to it and it might hinder your experience. Other than that it’s fucking amazing. Not to mention that it’s huge. I haven’t even got the platinum yet and I’m 189 hours in.
just play without 60 fps. and go with 30fps.
@@robbryjo I get really bad headaches when I play games at 30fps. If I didn’t I’d play at 30fps, but I’d rather not be pain from playing a video game.
I just reset my TV and calibrated just for rebirth and it fixed any graphics issues I had. It did take some serious tweaking back n forth but once I hit the sweet spot then that was it! Running on lg c2
Most of the light-hearted adventure portion of the story is done, so I would expect Part 3 to be a more focused presentation. If they're going to implement the airship, then I imagine new areas will be smaller to accommodate the older areas being accessible.
I really liked the combat in Rebirth so I hope they iterate on that rather than completely overhauling it.
I'm also nervous about cross-platform releases. Even if they ignore Nintendo they'll still have to reconfigure maps to work on the Series S.
I'm both nervous and excited for Part 3. It'll still be a Day One for me.

please add an update to reburth that allows you to return to upper junon later in the game. you currently can only return to lower junon.

And considering the party is accused of attempted assassination of the president i think soaking up the views in Junon is complete nonsense. She is the one that does it in the original so i would presume yes. Unless they decide to change that part too.

And considering Rebirth sold half the units of Remake i would guess that part 3 is going to sell half the units of Rebirth. And how would you even know if they changed something in the game? Do you watch spoiler videos before buying?

Yeah, I kinda miss the World Map in the Remake.

The way I see it is like in original FF7, you do all this stuff in Midgar and then leave n realize "oh wait the world is actually bigger, you get this whole continent supercool", and then u get to end of that and it's like "oh wait there's a whole other continent! Wow!" And then you get a broken plane eventually and it's like "OH SHIT ITS AN ENTIRE WORLD" lmao, I used to LOVE that feeling in JRPGs and I think that's what they are going for between Remake, Rebirth and part 3....
I see the 3rd installment being released a bit faster imo. Alot of recycled assets from 1 and 2. With the last areas being Cids town/Snow mt./Northern Crater including advent related news.
They will expand Wutai significantly. And Mideel will most likely be a whole new region.
It would suck if they went like FFXV around the later chapters, with it being way too linear...
I played Remake very shortly before Rebirth Release, so I had no waiting time. Even tho I will need some time to dry up my tears, I just hope waiting time until Part 3 will be moderate x)
We should stop treating the player like they’ve never played a video game before. Evercrisis is the most complicated thing in the world at times but your AAA game has the least engaging puzzles and weak use of the open world elements to enhance the fun of exploration and discoverability.
If the puzzle is mindlessly easy may as well not even have a puzzle.
@@NIXNE people on mass loved Elden Ring, it’ll be okay if you turn Gaia from a Ubisoft type open world into a more souls kind pf premise.
Add cissnei and kyrie as new playable characters. Also allow player to have any players from back line jump in each fight.
100% agree. I would also love to see Mayor Domino and Zacks mom in the party too. Maybe even the chicken from Gongaga as a guest party member.

FF7R part 3 is not exclusive to ps anymore.
We actually don’t know that for fact as they could have easily signed a contract before this new strategy which also doesn’t say they will never do exclusives again, which they do for Nintendo more than PlayStation. IF this does launch on PC day 1 I will play it on PC given it’s far more powerful than my PS5.
@@NIXNE I believe the contract was for part 1 and 2. Plenty of time for xbox to get these two parts since the 3rd part isn't going to be released til 2027 or 2028. Heard a rumor that SquareEnix and Sony's partnership and relationship has not been as strong as it used to be since the new CEO took over and is rather pro xbox. I looked and the 3rd part exclusively is uncertain at this point because Microsoft has been very aggressive in SquareEnix possibility buying them.
Its better they just named them remake part 1 & rebirth remake part 2
Meanwhile, the controversy around Silent Hill 2 Remake is getting more and more dramatic
I don't understand it. I actually thought Silent Hill 2 looked better than it's ever looked and the combat seems to have been improved.

I hope they don't go for the path of lightning returns, completely changing it too much 😢 Rebirth was the best combat style ever, hope they keep that
There are definitely some improvements that need to be made from Rebirth.
1st. The minigames should be completely elective, do not force minigames into main quest events.
2nd Remove the stupid Social bonding filler crap, this is not Persona & the social mechanic is completely unnecessary.
3rd We need better map design, Gongoga & Cosmo canyon where extremely tedious to traverse & whats the point of opening the world when u have to use all these stupid hidden linear paths to access most points on the map, I wanna be able to access a point on the map any way I choose & most platforms & cliffs should be scalable.
4th Pacing, theres too much filler between events & once u finally get to an interesting point in the story its ruined by filler & minigames.
When Square said they were goin to make the game more open, this is not what I had in mind. Id much rather go back to the linear better paced style of Remake.

I’m not a PlayStation channel. If you want my opinion it was exactly what I expected, a focus on Concord (underwhelming) and Astrobot (Amazing).

I think I'm quit with Playstation altogether and throwing my PS5 to the trash instead of selling it. Since Jim Ryan made lot of damage, Sony is really abandoning their single player games.
