I love the V Rex! It's a hyper evolved version of T. Rex, and King Kong Director Peter Jackson said that "if you isolate T. Rex or any other species of dinosaur, what would they look like?" He had the effects artists show him concept art of T. Rex but with a crocodile snout and tail, and told them that's exactly what he wants in the movie.
While REBOR and Nanmu are finally recognizing the V-Rex, why not other Skull Island Dinos and other creatures? E.g.: •Brontosaurus •Ferrucutus (I’m dying to see that get a model) •Foetodon •Piranhadon •Venatosaurus •And more according to the Skull Island lore
Sorry for doubting you, Andy. I thought the Chinese bought 'em out. After all, there're only 498 pcs in existence! One of 'em is already sitting on MY shelf. 😆
Hey Andy love the review and I wanted to let you know that I am pretty sure everything dinosaur has the matriarch king Kong version of the rebor gorilla
Why does the attention go to the box first? For me, it's what's inside that matters. But that's just me. I still want to get this guy at some point. The reddish one's on my wishlist. Edit: Just realized this is a different model. Didn't realize til now.

I hate to be that guy, but the pose is giving me major warping concerns, and the new material nanmu has been using has been known to break just as often as the older material, its an awesome figure but I'm happy with my original shadow monarch
Definitely a concern of mine when I first saw it but I think the Soul of the Dragon series is more resin than their standard releases. I can't say for sure but I'm thinking that's the case which would stop warping. Hope that's the case anyway. I didn't inspect the material all that well and have been crazy busy the last few days so I filmed the Review and haven't even had a chance to look at the model again so I'll try to look into it a bit when I have a bit of extra time.

It's horrible. My collection lives in my basement and I live in an old house so dust is constantly a problem.
