Just now finding out why you guys likely elected to NOT perform this task on the '05-09 models. I'm working at the drivers side inner left side cowl and am just about at my wits end because of the coachwork and the double-wall I find here on my 'vert. I'm so far into it that I want to keep going but, hey! This is nuts!
If I want to add a Flaming Horse Logo Car Door Laser Projector Shadow LED Light for Mustang 2014 can I connect to the same hornest or do I need to connect different wiring
bbstar54 Thanks for the feedback. We actually explored this option but Ford has been plagued with problems involving their new projector pony puddle lamps. The pony logo is chipping off/ smudging, etc after only a few months. While this doesn't project a pony, it is much easier to install (the pony projection lamps must be epoxied into place when retrofitting) and is more reliable.
When feeding the wire through the connector into the cabin, there's barely are room. Will the wires still be okay as long as they are on the side with the notch?
+George Guale II Yes the will be just fine as long as they are fed on either notched side. The wires have a low enough profile that it won't be an issue.
You definitely could, however the wiring you tap into inside the car would be different. Also the 2015-2017 mirrors come apart a little differently and it is more difficult to take them apart, which is one of the reasons we never created a kit for the 15-17's.
Bridgett Lozano It could be an issue, do your overhead map lights still function? If they do, it is not a fuse issue. I would recommend taking a look at the wiring behind the A-pillar next and make sure it is connected properly. Feel free to call our tech support line or email us if you need assistance!
Every-time I see wire-taps used I just cringe...(By all means keep using wire-taps if you want to hunt down intermittent connection problems down the road.)
Hi Lance - We havent tested it on the 2015+ platform, but you should definitely be able to connect to power inside the passenger compartment like our #3640 Footwell lighting kit does.

Should be able to connect to the same circuit with no problems, as long as the LED you are using is intended for 12v systems. Good luck!
So much work for something so simple, I hate being lazy...
Mikey3200 I would only deem it useful if it were the pony logo one's. I was surprised to see just regular lights there.

so what happens when you're driving and turn on your map light? Will the puddle light come on as well? I don't want to get pulled over. Thanks
Stevie - great question. No they will not come on if you use the push button above to activate the map lights individually. - Jason
@@StarkeyProducts Thanks
Can this be used for a 2017 model?

Would anybody happen to know if any fuse could be the problem to this kit not lighting up?
