2015 2016 2017 Ford Expedition How To Remove Rear Panel Molding Handle Trim - Rear Liftgate

This video shows how to remove the rear lift gate panel molding trim piece. The reason I did this was to access the wiring for the rear camera. The picture on the screen from the camera is sometimes fuzzy as if there was a bad connection. I was unable to locate an apparent problem, however

Awesome video. Took a screenshot as reference to how many holes there are for the bolt on parts and push tabs. I have the 09 xlt version and have been wanting to swap out the trim which is smaller to the one you have but couldn't find any info on it. People kept telling me it won't fit my year truck but its the same size liftgate up to 2018. Keeping an eye on a one on ebay just waiting for the funds lol. I'm also from Kentucky, Bullitt County.

Yes it did with some additional modifications and the backup camera on my 09 is different size(smaller) than the 2014 version ( bigger)

Good video. I need to access that area to remove the Ford oval. It’s peeling, so gonna replace it with a custom painted one along with a matching front emblem as well. Thanks.

My problem was a bad camera, though there is a guy who says that it's a ground wire problem, and several commenters said "ditto and thanks". If you break the clips holding the "Expedition" piece on, here's some info (I searched for a couple hours, even on Ford's parts site, but wound up going into my local dealer)
So the Ford part # is W716351-S300.
If you search Amazon, I found a pack of 25 for $15.
