Like everyday morning i used check fasbeam's Insta story like hoping be it SELTOS today! And he had done or he used to do all the car reviews on the lauch time itself or atleast less than a month!!
And I know , getting a seltos for review is nottttt a tough task for him at all!!!

All real hector owners claim a mileage figure of 7 to 9 kmpl and suddenly so many youtubers are doing mileage reviews of MG Hector. Definitely a paid review. I have never seen a mileage review and a short video like this by Faisal before. All of them are using calculators at the end to prove the mileage too. 🤣 Very funny.

I myself own one and I'll tell you i get 8 to 10 kmpl in the city driving it on part throttle and not doing aggressive driving, if you do it the mileage will drop to even 6 kmpl. But on highways if you cruise at 80 to 90 kmph , it will surely return around 13 kmpl. I have got it myself and I've driven the car 25000 kms. I've done 3500 km long trips at a single time and the maleage remains the same and totally depends upon your driving style.
@@kkiran2088 well bro that's on him i already said it depends on driving style and road conditions. People should think sensibly how a machine works and what effect do outside conditions have on it. Higher the RPMs= Higher the fuel consumed. Simple as that

hi people these are all fake reviews....m using the automatic hybrid top end petrol......it is giving 9 km/lit on ORR and with in city 5-8 max ...13-15 is highly impossible......

How calmly he's telling all its seems it's all promotional 😂 indeed it is. My friend with the same model getting 7.1kmpl , and don't go for this model unless you own a petrol pump on every 100 km😂

I believe u didn’t even cross 80 kmph throughout ur testing , even though u said it is a mix of city and highway drive, for most part of it was during smooth highway road below 80km which is totally unrealistic and almost similar to ARAI testing 😅.... so it is perfectly safe to assume petrol MG fuel efficiency won’t be more than 10 kmpl under mixed driving ... and at city driving 6 to 7 kmpl at best...

And the reason,I was inclined towards MG is that I had test driven both the cars & harrier's interior was off-putting. The car may be great and infact the new one is way better but at the time i drove, the car was vibrating literally in traffic , it was just 7k run.
This is a dope car... If MG can manage a good service network.. Then MG'll rule the Indian Market for a long time.
We bought a Hector DCT automatic in January and in the last one month the average mileage is only 6.5 which is quite disappointing . we are in Chennai

So it is not only applicable for your vehicle it is same for every unit

Bcoz u r always hard pressing the accelerator and the engine is red lining......so the mileage is 6 or 7....... try pressing half accelerator most of the time and then see the difference

Ur friend is getting low mileage bcoz he is always hard pressing the accelerator and the engine red lines......try pressing half accelerator most of the time and see the difference
I never got above 12 kmpl even after driving the petrol dct with very sedate driving, not taking the car upwards of 2500 rpm, no harsh pickups. The fact is there are 6 speeds in the dct which is one less, it should've had 7 gears so that RPMs are lower. The engine is on around 2100 rpm on 110kmph at 6th gear which results in bad or not so good economy(lower the RPMs=least fuel consumption). I have driven the car for around 20,000 kms in city,highway, long road trips and in city it returns only around 7 kmpl.

While my petrol seltos fully loaded with luggage and 4 passengers gives 11 kmpl in Bangalore city and 15kmpl on highway

100% paid review. Not expected from Faisal. Use to think you of a genuine reviewer but money talks. Some of the owners are getting around 6kmpl in normal conditions for DCT which is far below than claimed and have already raised the issue with top management but still resolution is awaited. Now Faisal specifically uploading this videos simply states the level of desparation for the brand image and what Money can make a person do. Not expected from Faisal don't want to be called a fasbeamer now.
Chill, I showed you the mileage when driven sedately, can you also try a test before coming to a conclusion?
@@FasBeam Already did. Iam part of forum where all the members are either hector owners or awaiting delivery. Each and every member is verified and 90% of the dct owners have the same issue. We have also written to Mr. Chaba and still resolutions is under process.
Listen to his vlog carefully. He's saying it will return good mileage if driven sanely and without revving to hard with half throttle. I think that's wat mg is trying to prove / convince its customers through this video. *mileage subject to drivers

I dont understand why everyone is tearing into the petrol Hector for its lack of fuel efficiency. The Jeep Compass petrol also has ridiculously low efficiency, but no one rants about it. At least the Hector is providing the comfort at the levels of the Tucson or CRV, with more boot space than those cars too.
I have the same car top variant, mine gives a mileage of only 6 in the city and 10 on the highways. Also you said you’ll drive in both highway and city conditions but in the video it’s always a highway!

With single person in the car, the mileage will be more. Please test with fully loaded with passenger and check again. Possibility of mileage drop will be higher.

The highest i've got in my wagonr 27.6kmpl😅 without AC tho and 21.3 kmpl with AC on a 450km trip. But never crossed 100kph and never will😑
