I lived in Guyana most of my life and have never been to Lethem . As a matter of fact I’ve never been to a lot of places in Guyana. I’m glad you’re having a great time.
Amazing video! I was born and raised in Boa Vista, Brazil which is less than 2h away from Lethem by car (I’ve been there many times) and the region I’m from shares the Rupununi savanna with Guyana! It’s a truly unique part of the world, and many South Americans don’t even know it. I live in the United States now, but I still miss how beautiful our savannas are. Thank you for sharing these images of the Rupununi to the world and a salute to our Guyanese friends!
Be encourage Alex....im Guyanese and it warms my heart to see u having such joy and peace as u embrace our paradise our home our land of birth......ur passion a happiness is shared with every smile every drone shot and every vlog........#iwontstopwatching......LOVE FROM GT....THX U FOR SHOWING US WITH SUCH CARE N PEACE......respect.
Lethem is very diverse now,it’s no longer populated by just the indigenous people, lots of people from Georgetown and elsewhere are settling there, thanks for showing the world what a beautiful place my/our wonderful Guyana is.
Wow, this was fantastic! Quite a few videos of the Rupununi but none capture the essence of the place as this short enjoyable video! You've stimulated my desire for visiting home!
When I take my trip, I want to experience it like this ❤️ 😍 . Out and free in nature. Rodeo, horseback riding, bike rides and mountains. Also the fact that you do hands on experience learning from their culture is wonderful.
So nice of you guys to come visit and showcase our beautiful guyana not just to the world but even to us Guyanese. Many of us never visited those places
Goodness lord I want to live here.I never realized Guyana hinterland and Rupununi are so peaceful and beautiful. This is what we need in life peace and nature around
This vlog is so good 😊 and I know that you enjoyed the whole big area with the activities and feeling so peace and quiet . Another Great place great experience excellent vlog 🎥😎
Your accent forever grows on me..btw you seem to be having hella lot of fun here Alex. I have only seen the cricket ground in Guyana on tv where son of the soil Shivnarine Chanderpaul use to stroke his centuries.
Love it 😍 love how you show off my home town. And it was great to see Erin who was my teacher when she first visited Guyana and fell in love and never left 😁
I'm impressed, those were amazing places Alex🌎🤘 And at first glance doesn't look like typical latinamerican landscapes. Looks like you captured something else here... a different type of beauty through your traveler eye. Good job my friend. ⭐
@@MochilerosOrg well when foreign people come to Guyana they stay in georgetown and say they have seen Guyana, it is the only country in the world that if judged by one city, no other country has this problem.
Great Video I had the opportunity to visit the south Rupununi 4/2022 went as far as Macushi village. Had a great experience. Drove from Georgetown thru the trail to Lethem, even spent 2 days in Brazil. Now I'm back home, Florida USA. Can't wait to plan my next trip, Leroy and Kayla was great. Saw they were part of your experience.
very good video first time i see Georgetown a very tight city little spaces in the middle of free for the work, i like extreme places i am also advernturous
Hi Alex, GREAT job, as you also have a very genuine, down-to-earth way about you, which I think the locals quickly picked up on (the end shot of the locals and you having a good laugh is a good indicator) with you. Anyway, I work for a WTE company, and we're going to be part of a sizable industrial project in the Berbice River region of Guyana, and of course I want to watch various videos of people--especially foreigners like myself--to take in the local Guyanese culture. And while I'm not the biggest fan of humidity (understatement lol), I figure the fact that the country is LOADED with nature, bodies of water to enjoy, and just plenty of outdoor pursuits to be had, that I believe I will thoroughly enjoy my time there (new facility, so lots of mandatory business time), by getting out and enjoying Guyana's countryside. Much thanks, Brit ;)
@@AlexOuthwaite Don't worry, this isn't an ongoing Q&A, but curious if your being in Guyana felt like you were in and/or surrounded by a frontier-type of environment? I ask because despite Georgetown, when my being can sense I'm surrounded by nature, a soothing feeling comes over my body, and the stress seems to just melt away. Obviously hoping I experience that similar feeling as I know I'll be spending LOTS of time in that country.
Hopefully soon you can get to know the border towns between Guyana and Venezuela such as: Baramita, Eteringbang and Arau village. In those places there is a lot of interculturality between Guyanese miners from the coast, Amerindians, Venezuelans and Brazilians who live there. ✌
I would have preferred living in The rupununi districts than living in Georgetown. This is very peaceful natural living. I never knew Guyana had so many natural beautiful places

I'm not Guyanese but living here for almost all my life I think it's a special Caribbean country.
**South American country**, only culturally Caribbean
huntley, Guyana has nothing to do do with the caribbean, eccept FOR g/t but not the rest of the country
