A really small town? Boa Vista has the double of people of Georgetown, and nope, you can't walk everywhere. You probably stayed in one area and could walk (downtown, maybe?) I live in Guyana and go quite often to Boa Vista and it's the smallest city in northern Brazil, but two times bigger than Georgetown, Great video though

Hey thanks! Tourist Visa's are usually not difficult to come by for certain parts of the world. Just paperwork with a cost attached. However, please check official government sites for specific info.

Hey no worries. Well of course it depends on where in Brazil you're coming from. But one of the cheapest way regardless would be to get to Boa Vista, then take a bus or taxi to Bon fim which is the border town on the Brazilian side and from there you can get a taxi to Lethem which would be the exact reverse of this video but same process. Lethem is the border town in Guyana. From there you can get to the city, Georgetown by taking a bus. Hope this helps!!!

I'm not sure what the current situation is... Guyana does require vaccination to enter through airports so I think it's a safe assumption to say you will need one, since it is an official port of entry.
I'm curious as to how the driver who takes you from the Guyana immigration office to Bom Fim does their paperwork. Do they have a special permit that allows them cross?

I'm not able to say since it's dependent on a lot of choices you make such as length of trip, how you get around, what you choose to eat, where you sleep and so forth. I'm just giving ideas as to the cost of things. Hope this helps!

It depends on how far across the border you are going. No one checks you at the border specifically, so you can go across the border even without passport. However, if you're going to Boa Vista and beyond you will need all relevant documents based on your passport and it is on you to make sure you receive an exit stamp from Guyana and an entry stamp into Brazil. There will be police checkpoints enroute.

taxi drivers are reliable..? because I am afraid to load my luggage and enter the office and that when I leave the office the car will not be there.
I can't speak for all drivers, but I have never heard of an incident such as the one you mentioned.

It's an open border. You cross freely. The onus is on you to ensure you get the relevant stamps if you're staying in either country.
