Miniature old watering can with lavender 💜 Polymer clay flover tutorial + free template

1. To make a watering can, I cut out the parts according to the pattern from a disposable aluminum sheet for baking. After that I polished the edges with a mini drill and glued it with special UHU metall glue. It is difficult for a beginner to work with aluminum. Therefore, I recommend that you first try to make a watering can from plain thick paper. Then paint it with silver paint for a metallic sheen.
2. To color the watering can and lavender, I mix a matte medium with soft pastel. You can use acrylic paint or replace the medium with Fimo matt varnish.
3. So that the flowers and leaves stick well, I cover the stem with hot melt adhesive.
4. So that the flowers stand firmly in the watering can, I attach a piece of air clay to the bottom, fill it with sticky glue and gently stick flowers into it. When the glue and clay have dried, the flowers will stand steady. You can replace the clay with a sponge.
