      These really do come out beautifully, and people will be in awe wondering how you made such tiny flowers, theyre also excellent for filling up bare areas on your dioramas, so when you make them, make plenty! far more than you think you'll need, because you'll use a lot of them, I can assure you. Pro tip..When you're making your own flocking, clump foliage and grasses, ALWAYS make a lot more than you need! 😉

      Dear God my ex partner use to work at a timber mill!!! Can u imagine what I could have layed my hands on hahaha.
      Its become so huge now that the manufacturers are definatley cashing in..mungrels!
      I was watching a couple of vids yesterday and u can go straight to the manufacturer and buy by the kilo and half kilo bags and dye it yourself but I really don't need that much. I got stuck in yesterday and made my yellow sponge flocking 😃 thanks to u 🥰 and it looks great, well it does to me anyway 😊
      Its drying out at the mo and there's 3 different shades of green. My dining room table is covered in twigs n bark n plastic foliage, blender n glues hahaha..causing me no end of anxiety hahaha there's crap everywhere..but I live alone so all good.
      Ground up leaves n debris down to really fine stuff and im about to colour it and get it drying...all the prep is a bit of a pain but great once its done and I can start on this bloody box 😆
      Im procrastinating which is nothing new lol..do I do the trees first or the ground work, hell im not even sure what im going to do lol aghhh!
      Then there's the mirror placement 😳 and the lighting too 😅🤪😵😖
      Maybe I've bitten off more than I can chew lol but im not giving up, the first one is always a learning curve isn't it. I've built miniature rooms before in old wooden draws.
      I think ive wstched way too many videos and my brain is now mush lol grrr.

      @@dinkydioramas8349 I would like to pick your brain if possible? I was thinking I wonder how you would approach making bittersweet it is a vine plant that grows and weaves in and out of fencing or trellises. I am curious as to what your ideas would be. It has a little orange berries and has paper like yellow petals on the outside of it. The vine has a strong bark to it and not bunches of leaves. Google has some pictures of bittersweet vine.
      My thoughts were to use wire but I’ve not been successful in painting wire where it sticks and not scrape off. I have some orange berry type floral I could use for the berries. I could use yellow tissue paper to simulate the berry pod. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Perfect. This is exactly what I wanted to see. I work in 28mm scale so I'll likely just use the flower method with tufts, but it is hard to find flowers in colors other than white or yellow so I appreciate your wonderful tutorial.

    • @dinkydioramas8349
      @dinkydioramas8349  9 месяцев назад

      I'm glad you have found this video helpful, I reckon for a 28mm scale you could use cheap artists paintbrushes using the same method, only a little lighter handed and it would work as well, if not even better. the bristles would be shorter and softer making for very small, delicate grasses. I am going to attempt this myself now that you have brought this to mind.
