Bonne continuation ! Amicalement. W.S
Wow, amazing artwork! Truky beautiful. Also, if l may I ask, what material is the purple stick/stem? The ones you used to stick the purple mushroom heads to the top of the can. Is it really thin steings of clay or wire or something else? Thank you!
Holy moly....that's amazing. I work with resin and work with Apoxie Sculpt. It's not as easy to work with...but I have fun playing with it and putting it in my resin pieces. Glad I found you, I subscribed. I have a channel too ☺
How does it stay on the smooth metal? The details are gorgeous!......as a fungi hunter I keep thinking the can should be rusted and deteriorated for such lifeforms to grow. 😁
How do you bake them? Can you put a can inside an oven? I want to start to do what you are doing as much as I can😄 But i dont know when should i bake the clay and how?
I enjoyed watching the Purple Fungus unfold and grow! Do you bake some of the pieces before adding them to the sculpture? Just wondering. I love your work! ~Janet in Canada
Do you bake the pieces before you put them on or do you put the whole thing in after? I’m working with polymer clay in my AP 3D class right now and was wondering if the can would react in the oven
not at all. I started picking up an interest in biology through my artistic work. Now I read about various biology related topics and let that inspire me further.
Do you use bake and bond, or something else? Because I have a BITCH of a time getting little fiddly things like that to stay stuck to the base clay and not having it fall off the moment I look at it funny.
Although your pieces arebeautiful, I find it somewhat ironic that you are using polymer clay & epoxy clay to create them. These materials will not biodegrade, just like the plastics & trash that are having a negative effect on the oceans' ecosystems, which is your concept and creative focus. I know your sculptures are not destined for the oceans anytime soon, it's just the principal of it that came to mind. My comment is not to diminish your skill as an artist by any means.
Who could ever imagine a humble tin can could look so wonderfully magical..Brilliant idea and so beautifully done 😀

"Ego Sleep" and the second is "Ultra Violet", both by Amarante.
Do you seal the clay with something or just let it dry?

Just one question.. How do you bake the fimo? Isn't the leak made from resin?
it's all polymer clay, the leak as well :)
Hey steph do you put wire into the mushrooms before you attach them. Onto the can? For support?
This isn't a tutorial, I do teach on skillshare though www.skillshare.com/r/user/petitplat
