I prefer how he sounds when there's more acoustic in like smaller gigs, he doesn't force his voice as much, however, he does sound good here, thanks for sharing!
It's hard to sing on top a wall of guitars, especially if the audio at the venue isn't good. It seems that everything was pretty top form at this gig, the audio sounded good and Liam was able to sing with relative ease, a few iffy spots in some songs but overall one of his best concerts in the past decade or 2 for sure!

This happens very frequently at the beginning of Champagne Supernova as well. It is what it is, he usually recovers pretty quickly anyway

I explained this in another comment, here is a nutshell of my best guess what is happening(as a sound engineer). He has his vocals extremely loud in his monitors to be able to hear himself in other songs with a wall of guitars, so at the beginning of this song as soon as he starts singing, he can no longer hear the hi-hat and guitar/keys properly resulting in him losing timing a bit. Happens on Champagne Supernova almost every time, and even happened a few times back in the 90s

He's not singing it bad it's just that this song is 100%Noel and it needs Noel's emotional voice.
After re-listening to this and other vids of this... Liam is clearly not as familiar to singing to this song as his timing is a little off in places
