As much as I love John Wayne I think it's pretty obvious that Jeff Bridges is a superior actor. And the 2010 version of True Grit is significantly better in basically every way other than classic status
I actually disagree. Mostly because if your somewhat familiar with theater. You understand disagree why this scene is shot the way it is. If the Duke was alive and had today's technology. I have no doubt it would steamroller the 2010 movie. Despite how wonder that remake is.
