We have this same trailer, we bought it new in 2011 and love it! It is our 2nd NS. The first one was smaller. They both work great and we have no complaints, best trail for the $ out there!
We own this same trailer, love it! Very easy to pull and back. Plus there is room to add totes on the side for more storage. The 600 lb trailer sitting on a 2000 lb axle gives us a whopping 1,400 lbs of potential cargo! Our Kymco 150 ATVs are only 300 lbs each. Taking away for straps, fuel cans, spare, and mountings, we can still add ~600 lbs of cargo! When we take the 3rd Kymco 150 MXU, there is still room to stack (2x2) large black and yellow totes between them.We load the first two on side ways to the front, leave a space for the totes, then add the third to the back. The three Kymco's still give us ~300 lbs of tote cargo to add on. The tail gate can be take it off completely and we have hauled odd things like play houses... LOL! Speaking of the tailgate, I added stick on red reflector tape to increase viability, it helped greatly! Check around on line for the best price and non-kit deals. You will not be sorry!!!
I’m just starting to look at trailers and this is one of the first videos I clicked on.... I’m sitting here like that parking lot looks familiar! I usually load and unload back in Derry, but wow small world. Lol
Great video! Just to double check this is only a 5 foot wide trailer? I was thinking about buying the Karvan 5 by 8ft trailer from home depot to side load 2 atvs on it, but I wanted to make sure it was wide enough
Yea it a go kart. New to all this just bought my son the Kawasaki 300 brute force quad says its 76 inch long will that fit side ways. And we have go kart. I really like your trailer. Thanks
It's not hard, took a few hours. They tell you to build it upside down and then flip it over. I found it easier to built it the opposite way. I used 4 Home Depot 5 gallon pails one at each corner and assembled it that way. Then tipped the trailer forward once the axle was in and somewhat built.
We have owned two if them, a 2012 this size and a smaller used one we found on CL in 2005. They are both working great today, we haul down the hwy going 70+ and over back roads driving carefully. Never any issues!
I meant to ask last time i commented, what town is that parking lot in? I have been riding west of concord at my vacation house but id like to explore more areas.
We travel down the highway a lot, and we used to have an 8X8 ski-mobile trailer and the ATVs used to loosen up on it. They stay nice and secure on this trailer.
That def wasn't safe. We currently have the 2 atv version and it fits 2 fine but now we need to haul 3 and this seemed to fit the bill perfectly. Thanks again for responding.
Terry 13 its a late response but what I have heard is that the Snowmobile trailer tires aren’t good in the summer because they will heat up faster and then “blow up”
QUESTION : Does a Polaris Sportsman 850 fit sideways on trailer?.... I also have a Harley 15 road glide to haul. Harley = 850lbs /Sportsman=775lbs total=1625lbs..... QUESTION: load Sportsman 850 in front or rear?
We build 6 / 12 just like this I don't know what you paid for that one but we sell hours for $1275 and on the frame we use 2x3x3/16 we do all of our frames that way we don't use no 1/8 material on any trailer we built

I'm thinking about buying this trailer, have you had any problems since you've owned it, you posted this video 2 years ago? Are you still liking it?

yeah this is an awesome trailer!

I like mine a lot. We use it all the time
Very nice trailer! You can always add plywood flooring to it too, just cut it to fit and bolt it down.
Thanks for the tip!
Nice 450r, I'm saving for one now. I will have to get used to the manual clutch, since the 250 is optional.
I loved this 450R wish I kept it.

It's a pretty nice trailer. I've been happy with it
Great video!

I was thinking about buying the Karvan 5 by 8ft trailer from home depot to side load 2 atvs on it, but I wanted to make sure it was wide enough
Yes it's 5' wide. I typically side mount the ATVs, they stay put really good loaded side-ways on this trailer.
@@HomeownerRepair thank you for the reply! I just bought a Yamaha atv and a 5ft wide trailer and haven't tried to side mount it yet
Did you have to register this trailer with the DMV?
Yes, it comes with a VIN number that you attach to the toungue
you should put the 450 in the front because its heavier and its better to have more weight on the front
Both machines weight the same 350 LBS. I usually side load them. It's easier to tie them down, and they are more secure side loaded.
Thanks for sharing, how much did you get the trailer for?
It was just under $1,500 at Home Depot
Yea it a go kart. New to all this just bought my son the Kawasaki 300 brute force quad says its 76 inch long will that fit side ways. And we have go kart. I really like your trailer. Thanks
The trailer's made to hold three big 4x4 ATVs, you could side load the ATV then front load the go kart...probably
Ok think I'm going to order one today.. Hard to put together? Thanks for your help. Love the vid

OMG DUDE THAT WAS THE TRAIL I WENT ON WITH MY DAD AND GRAMPY!!!! LOL
+Nolan Smagula Thanks awesome!
How is the trailer today? Any issues with it over time? I’ve thought about getting a northstar trailer myself for a pair of sportsman 570’s.
It’s awesome. I found that the ATVs ride better if you side load them. I use it all the time

It's the Derry to Fremont Trail. That parking lot is the Fremont end
Nice trailer. Is there room on the trailer to hold 3 trx450?
Yes there is. We typically side load the ATVs because they are more secure that way. This trailer holds three machines.
Thanks for the response. I'll be ordering one as well.

Did a see a snowmobile trailer in your yard. Why not use it ?i like the 450
Terry 13 its a late response but what I have heard is that the Snowmobile trailer tires aren’t good in the summer because they will heat up faster and then “blow up”
This trailer is a lot better to transport ATVs. The don't move around on this trailer.
Could I fit a 150 hammerhead side ways on there. It's 88inch..
I'm not sure. Is that a side-by-side
thanks. looks like i might like this
It's a really decent ATV trailer.
Where did you get it at and what is it called
I bought it at Home Depot

They should. The trailer is made to hold 4x4s
How much did this trailer cost?
Bought it at Home Depot for a little under $1500.00
We bought ours like this new in 2012 for $1,250.00
@@kimcoleman6204 where pls?

This one was $1499.00 at Home Depot. I’m pretty happy...welds and paint could be better
That is a good price!
Nu-Wave got a link? I may need a 3atv trailer soon!
Nice
Thanks for watching. I like this trailer a lot. I use it for a ton of things
I can tell by the parking lot
This was in NH
a dirt bike would look good between the atv's.... just sayin.... ;)
+Superbike Mike You could probably fit at least two dirt bikes on the trailer with the ATVs. This trailer makes loading and unloading pretty easy.
Nah
the mother n law goes in the middle
lol
