Yeah whenever videos start with 10 hours of setup time, I skip ahead and see if it's not bullshit. Well, you can kill the dragon over and over again. You don't need the crazy setup, you can just use any bleed weapon (but it will take longer), but the dragon needs to be alive. I'm pretty certain that everyone that "farms" runes already destroyed that dragon.

You dont need all this. Just use a flail. If you need a guide for that look one up it’s actually just opening a chest. Then hold l2 against the dragon until that kills it. Make sure you get on your horse right after you kill it then run back to the grace. You can do this literally as soon as you get your horse and skip all this other nonsense. Obviously having the scarab will help and the rest of these items but literally a horse and a flail is the bare minimum
@@jiminatorx yeah, but speed isn't everything in a rune farm. Killing the bird four times sounds more tedious than doing this once. With the bird you have to worry about aiming your shot right or you hit the tree, and your positioning needs to be right or it will back off, essentially wasting the cycle. I don't know why but recently the bird has also been stuck on the tree for me.
@@luminous2585 in the cliff edge, there's a v cut, you want to be standing on the right side of that v cut, he runs off the edge like 98% of the time, very rarely he pulls a magic backstep back up onto the cliff, can easily get a bird kill every 6-7 seconds once you get the timing and aim down
For anyone wondering, you can do this farm technically with any weapon that provides bleed. It'd just take longer to kill the dragon but the method stays the same. As soon as you deal the finishing blow with the last bleed tick you turn around, summon Torrent and sprint your way to the Grace and reset. The reason it works is because of the death-animation of the dragon is unusally long (while the death confirm takes place 3 seconds after the kill, like with any mob), so the game resets it's place-ID before it has the chance to reset it, thus "reviving" the dragon even though it has been a confirmed kill. Def. an oversight of FromSoft - Probably just should connect the trigger to the confirm/kill instead of the death animation.

@Kibbles I can make this faster, and safer :3 - Rot Proc - Poison Proc - Frost Proc - Run back to the grace DO NOT USE IT YET. - pull out blood bone (Fletched) arrows, or something with bleed. - Shoot, Mix Repeat, till it is dead, grace, mix repeat.
Yeah those procs will not make it go faster (can the dragon even be infected by rot and poison?). Bleed is king hands down due to % dmg, rot does too but it's not instant; it's much better to get more bleed attacks in. You could use arrows but then you would need to craft them which throws on additional requirements.
Ayyy nice I found this the other day and posted in some comments sections and forums, glad someone who knows how to optimize it found it to actually make it good.
I feel like the preparation of this grind could easily be outpaced by just doing the bird grind. That's only assuming the player wants to get to PVP level, which is somewhere between 3.5 - 4.5 million runes total, depending on the level cap you want. Though I agree that the bird is very tedious, you have the ability to focus on something else the whole time, like watching a video about rune farming :^). There's no mistakes to be made unless you fall off the cliff twice. I do appreciate the effort you put into this video, though. :)
The zombie bird at Mohgwyn Palace is still the rune farming king. At NG+ it gives like 22k+ per kill with just the Golden Scarab. If you crafted the Sacred Relic Sword and sweep the albinaurics too, you're looking at probably around 50k (?) roughly per 15 seconds lol.
@@Etticos. most people stay at 125 atm for dueling, 60/80/100 for invasions and lower level duels. If you want to be a scumbag, you can go up to around 135-145 and pop a rune arc as a host for duels.
I did after like 3 days of getting the game so it's not an option for me haha. My build was feeling kinda powerful but now I'm trying to fight draconic tree sentinel on capital outskirts. Now I feel like I need to farm lol
I’m on ng+ and have sacred relic sword +10. Each time I use the WA it gives me ~70-80k souls and takes ~10 seconds. I’m lvl 230 and it still isn’t that hard to level up yet
mohgwyn palace farm is a LOT faster netting 40-70k every 5 seconds with the sacred relic sword on your first playthrough, im on ng+4 and get 100k every 5 seconds there, but then again for people who arent near us we need almost 1m+ for 1 level
There's a ridiculous amount of prep for this. You need to be in the end game, you need to not have done stuff, you need three Incantations AND be able to cast those incantations....

All this prep is completely unnecessary. You can do this just fine from level 1 with a bleed weapon and blood arrows. Gives you an even bigger window. It's not as fast but you really don't need it to be.
It’s easier to get to the endgame rune farm by just looking up white-faced Varre and doing his quest because it gives you a teleport to the end game rune farm, only requirement is to kill Godrick
That’s how get to the area to shoot the chicken with the bow. The end game farm is called end game farm because you need to beat the game get the sword and then with one swipe you kill all those guys that give you 2k runes each... you will get around 40-50k runes each time
@@LamineYamalinho even going there early game with a standard weapon is still better than grinding the early farm locations. I got to lvl 180 before I even got the sacred relic sword. NG+ is even better 4.8k-5.9k for the little guys and the bird off the cliff gets you 26k
you can do this early, too, using the uchi's or any bleed weapon. though it might take some time, still 65k runes every 4-5 minutes is not that bad compared to farming Vulgar militias. you just gotta be fast in using that horse ^^
Yeah, the prep is just dumb since a few weeks back someone else show the trick on the "spinning mace" trick with bleed on it. So with that u can do the same process and not do all those extra steps (early game) Mid game get golden scarab done. Then again like everyone else has pointed out, there are better places. This guy just wanna show the most convoluted way to farm XP. Just redundant. CLICK BAIT!!!!
(Read in Christopher Walkins voice) Finish the game. Get the sacred relic sword, go to new game plus. Go to mohgs area and do that farm. Each one will be worth around 4500-5500 runes. You can get around 100,000 runes every time you release the gold light from one location. This strategy with the dragon is just stressful, where as the mohgs area one is relaxed and new game plus will give you tons of runes. This will give you about a million to two million runes every five to eight minutes.
So IN SUMMARY, you can exploit the big Dragon by getting to the Grace before she "dies" die. If she's already dead, your sol. Could've opened with that btw.

I guess this is another early game farm. My late game farm still nets me about 10.2 mil runes per hour in NG+1. And it is the farm with sacred sword that everyone knows

Definitely. Was farming the bird yesterday and the 2 times i did it, i made 2 million in 15 minutes. (Now that i think of it, its about the same has dragon. Much more forgiving also.)
If you are in new game plus, just get the last boss weapon and do the normal rune farm, i get on one special attack for 120k runes. So every 10-20sec 120k
Lol the mohg palace farm gives 63k per wave of gold in ng+ with a golden scarab equipped. A bit over 100k if you clean the whole hill and kill the bird too
You just earned a new subscriber thanks for this and the way I do it is I use rotten breath twice to give him the rot effect then I use swarm of flies till he’s about to die but I let rotten breath finish him off so I have enough time to get back to the grace site
For those playing on PlayStation I highly recommend unequiping all your emotes! I messed this up 3 times in a row due to the motion control giving me an emote instead of resting at the site of grace.
You can literally do it at the same time as mohgwyn area, which gives you more runes and faster. And you can kill mohg really easy to get his weapon and speed up the whole process
honestly the coolest part to me here is how the spells stack with each other so you get bleed swarms etc def have to remember that could be a thing if i ever spec enough spell stuff it seems nice for game bosses
Dude the only thing you need for this is the spiked cestus or the morning star which you can get at level 1 and blood arrows. None of this late game setup is required.
I‘m in ng+5 right now and a single swipe of the golden wave on the albinaurics gives me around 85k runes with golden scarab… It takes literally 15 seconds or so. I do not understand why I should stress so much about this dragon not disappearing forever when I simply could press L2 and won‘t waste my time with chopping down the hp. Just play the game and stop wasting time with stupid things like that. Farm the bird and the mobs beside the grace, everything else is a waste of time.

This is cool, but way too much that can go wrong and setup, whereas killing the giant bird over and over at Palace Approach Ledge grace point is doable by any build from a very early level and you can get around 5 million runes per hour.
Are you on NG+? Cause farming the birds without any talismans only gives 11,000 with the talisman it only goes up to 15,000. Do that for an hour and you’ll have a little over a million, but nowhere near 5 million
Why just do the bird though? I was doing that farm early in the game all the little guys are easy pickings and the red ones just pick them off one by one let them spin at you with the red spikes dodge left or right depending what direction they are going and kill them quickly. Doing every enemy and the bird gets you 40-60k depending on if they have glowing eyes then they are worth 10k instead of the 2.4k on the first play through
@@edr8065 NG+ with the relic sword skill I’m getting 15-20mil per hour higher scale if you use the gold pickle foot but still easy 15mil with the golden scarab talisman
So the blood bird at Mogh's place drops 13,425 runes if you're just using the gold scarab on NG. I timed it and it's like 14 seconds to get from the grace to the snipe spot, shoot the bird and be back at the grace by the time the runes register. So in about a minute you get 53,700 runes and it costs you like 4 arrows. THIS is like the Rube Goldberg version of a farm, and it net him about 50,000 runes in the same amount of time. Yeah I think the blood chicken still wins.
15 min prep on new account: Get the rotten dog summon to easy kill the boss. Then proceed to the castle area and pick up claw which has blood loss. Then go to the dragon and your ready.
Don't know if anyone made a video for it yet but if you have the starscourge greatsword and you have access to Mohgwyn Palace.the first grace up on the mountain has a decent amount of mobs that you can kill with the greatsword skill.i think I got maybe 5 million to 8 million in 1 hour but it's definitely for new game plus or late game farming
If you're really early into the game, you do the Varre questline and simply farm the falling crow. you'll have enough levels for better weapons quickly. If you have beaten Radahn at this point which can be done relatively early (I did with a 65lvl character) then his weapons are amazing with their art for clearing out the first bonfire enemies. Farming millions without almost any requirements (except the level to wield Radahns weapons) which can be done with the crow. No need for Altus plateu, or Leyendell castle. Int or Faith builds, incantations. Somber stones to upgrade this weapon are also scattered around Raya Lucaria and Caelid so you can level it up almost all the way up to +9 without issues. Just need to run a bit around and collect them. A single run nets you 48k souls and is done in 25 seconds. This nets you roughly 8 million per hour, without even reaching Altus plateu or having to spend levels in int or faith for incantations. So quite early really. Arguably a much better farm overall. It's basically the endgame farm just without the end sword and using radahn's instead.
I wouldn’t personally recommend this, but for non-PC people who are desperate, currently there is an issue with the game on consoles where unplugging the console (or at the very least on PS4) before exiting and closing the game will cause you to lose data. The issue here is that you’re save data will only be up to when your save file was last securely saved, so if you farm multiple times and then kill the dragon by accident without quitting and exiting the game, all that farmed xp will be gone, so utilize this at your own risk. That being said, I’d rather have that information available for someone who knows that they’d rather lose the time than lose the option entirely.

You don't even need to do anything he says in already a video on this farm kill him when he does his final twitch when bleed happens jump on horse rest at grace as your at grace your get the runes get out of grace and he'll be back
@@whiskey6964 Precisely that but with a sword you get from the elden beast, its skill allows you to kill all of them insanely quick when maxed. i can usually get about 1,300,000 per 3 minutes.
Right so for people who doesn't know the giant white dragon must be alive in your world for this to work. And before you actually kill him forever reset using the grace but here's the catch you get the runes and the dragon isn't dead.

With the bird i made 2 million in 15 minutes. So about the same. Just the dragon seems like its more button presses The bird is, from grace, go to ledge, shoot in between 2 branches, arrow will hit is foot right when he gets there, he then runs straight into the hole since he was already walkijg in that direction (he doesnt have time to turn like this), turn around and sleep. 1 arrow, 1 kill. (Worst that happens, 2 arrows) 15 min = 2 million (with golden scarab and about 2 golden foot) 15min = 1.8 million with only golden scarav and no golden foot used
Definitely gonna try this on new game plus, i think it wouldve been nicer to see that requirement in the beginning before aquiring all the needed equipment but yea lookin forward to trying this!
its the best farm for early game if you have any bleed weapon (flail is incredebly good and also you can get it by doing bassicly nothing) its not the best if you dont have a good setup tho
Before NG+, I do the bird farm. I shoot the bird then run over to the closest mobs and use the Starscourge Greatsword and kill as many as I can with one use of the ability. Then run back to grace and repeat. Get probably about the same and it's guaranteed not to disappear.
@@AscentGaming because it isn't a bug, mohg's palace is basically end game content. farming mobs has always been a thing, and its not like the amount of souls they drop are bugged, its just that there are a lot of enemies placed in close proximity
@@Potato_tomato_rice0101 honestly, it's not much about the mobs in the area, and more about the bird that decides to kill himself and give 3 million runes + per hour with a single crossbow and some bolts, and since there's a way to skip to consecrated snowfield that was pretty much certain to not be a planned feature, it seems like something that could have a fix later on. Either the skippable part or the suicidal bird. Probably both tbh.

@@gingfreecss3467 Go to an underground grace called "Mohgwyn Palace", walk 5 meters to stand at the edge of the cliff, shoot arrow at bird (use LB to aim manually) and it will walk off the cliff and die. You'll get like 10K runes every time. Rest at grace and repeat. You'll have to find a spot that works. For some spots, the bird won't walk off the cliff. If he doesn't immediately run off, just rest and try another spot until you've found a spot that does. There's usually some messages on "working" spots. There's no use in spamming arrows - if he doesn't run off immediately, it's unlikely he will later. Get the Gold Scarab from Abandoned Cave to increase runes earned from defeated enemies (even if they walk off the cliff and die) by 20% for more runes. Abandoned Cave is a nightmare though, lots of scarlet rot inside.
I believe i was the one who told you that he can pop for almost 100k. Also bird is actually about 1 mill per hour, i did the math at 17,219 x 60 and it came out to 1,033,140. Idk where somebody got the idea of the farm bringing 4.9 million per hour, cause thats just not factual. Without the talisman its roughly 11k and with its roughly 13k and then with the foul foot its 17,219k per bird. So if you do that and multiply by 60 mins, you only get 1,033,140 perhour
Swarm of flies is necessary? But then you can just walk a few feet to the bird... I guess this could MAYBE go a little faster if done correctly. As far as I can tell you can actually farm the bird faster if you're quick about shooting him asap and sitting the grace before the souls come back. I think dragon is better as an early game rune farm. Go put down your summon sign at the grace, get summoned, help people kill dragon, profit. Also those bats nearby drop rune 11s which can be useful too if you get summoned by someone not doing dragon.

Really don't need all that. Just get a bleed weapon. But golden scarab does help. Bit the flail in a chest near where you get torrent is an easy option. Plus if you have the cold mountains open. Get the rivers of blood katana.
Eh, if it's all you focus on you can get to the Mohgwyn farm in the first hour of a playthrough. Don't even have to actually kill whoever you invade for Varre's quest. If you can kill the Agheel you can use the chest at the ruins to pop over to Caelid and get the Scarlet Rot breath. Takes a little longer but works almost just as good as Wave of Gold.
On NG+ it's just faster to use the End Game farm of course, but I'd hazard a guess that's it's faster and easier to get to Mogh's Cliff farm site on any NG. Still a cool glitch.
Get him really low on health, Then go to grace point and finish him with arrows, Less chance of missing. i put a +24 bow and +24 Uchigatana with bleed from my main character. can get to 1Mil quick.
@@mrbonlino it being my first Souls game I only so far had help on 3 bosses Melenia, Crazy Godfrey, and Elden Beast its worse that I was lvl 200s tho I also skipped a bunch of bosses I started NG+ so gonna try to not get help this time around
@@ruty6099 there's no shame in it, souls games are souls games. All I'm saying is you should be set by around lvl 150 for NG (NG+ is like 200, which playing the game a 2nd time will give you no problem) In fact, 150 is a little overlevelled, as I completed the game after doing 90% of content by 140~ and had a decent challenge with the final boss

It says, in the patch notes of version 1.03 "Fires deadly sin affecting the statuses of the weapon in your right hand" so nice try. Dragon trick works, really works with anything that respawns, but the fire deadly sin doesn't work like that any longer.
Actually it does, it no longer applies weapon art buffs to the fire but a spell or incantation buff does work with fires sin which was the intended design, it showed it in a video about the patch the day after

When you get him to very low health can you make your way to the resting point and spam arrows till he dies and rest straight away if your not good at timing with the horse?
I'm pretty sure idk because I've already killed the dragon from another rune "farm" but I'm pretty sure because you just need to make it to the grace as soon as it's dying. I'm pretty sure this will work because the arrows should travel that far
I like the moghwyn 13-18k runes method,just so i dont feel that i am exploiting the game too much,bird is meant to respawn,so i am good with that,thank you anyway for this
item dupe cloud save method can earn you 200-400 million souls per hr depending on load times and requires at least 2 people but if you have a friend or two and want to actually see what a 99 all stats playthrough feels like this is your best bet
Thats a lot of processes and risks, I’d rather finish the game, get the weapon from elden beast, +10 it, then farm the moghwyn bois. 70k per run, 1 run is 10-15 sec
I notice if you dont kill the bird it saves you about 5 seconds of time which makes killing the mobs on the hill quicker to respawn giving more per minute atleast in my case
Just make a save and upload the save to the cloud drop your runes items to a friend re-download the save and just dupe with your friends if your this dedicated to wasting time it literally takes and hour and you can have a full inventory of rune items hope people already new about this method
Pro tip for this method, once you have stacks of 99 of the rune items you want duped, make a rune mule alt that will always have a 99 stack of all them so you can skip the multiplying step in future endeavors and it takes just minutes for each person to hav 70mil+ runes, just be careful not to mix up when you should upload and when to download a save
Farming by abusing game mecanics im cool whit, but abusing bugs thats a no go for me. Too risky, Fromsoft could just banned ppl abusing bugs if they feel like it. Its actually in the EULA. They probably wont to be honest, but we are in 2022... nothing could suprise me anymore...
I rather do Mogwym Palace area using Gold Waves. Consistent and probably more runes per hour. And honestly, if you're going for levels above 200, you want to be in Journey 2 or 3 so you get more runes anyways.

You can kill four birds for the same amount of points way faster than you can kill the dragon with a flail

Yeah those procs will not make it go faster (can the dragon even be infected by rot and poison?). Bleed is king hands down due to % dmg, rot does too but it's not instant; it's much better to get more bleed attacks in. You could use arrows but then you would need to craft them which throws on additional requirements.

Ayyy nice I found this the other day and posted in some comments sections and forums, glad someone who knows how to optimize it found it to actually make it good.
I feel like the preparation of this grind could easily be outpaced by just doing the bird grind. That's only assuming the player wants to get to PVP level, which is somewhere between 3.5 - 4.5 million runes total, depending on the level cap you want. Though I agree that the bird is very tedious, you have the ability to focus on something else the whole time, like watching a video about rune farming :^). There's no mistakes to be made unless you fall off the cliff twice.

The zombie bird at Mohgwyn Palace is still the rune farming king. At NG+ it gives like 22k+ per kill with just the Golden Scarab. If you crafted the Sacred Relic Sword and sweep the albinaurics too, you're looking at probably around 50k (?) roughly per 15 seconds lol.
Yeah you can make 450-550k per gold foot while not in ng+ so I’ll stick with the mogwyn grind.

@@Etticos. most people stay at 125 atm for dueling, 60/80/100 for invasions and lower level duels. If you want to be a scumbag, you can go up to around 135-145 and pop a rune arc as a host for duels.

The albinaurac enemies at palace approach really give all the runes you need until like level 170
I’m on ng+ and have sacred relic sword +10. Each time I use the WA it gives me ~70-80k souls and takes ~10 seconds. I’m lvl 230 and it still isn’t that hard to level up yet
mohgwyn palace farm is a LOT faster netting 40-70k every 5 seconds with the sacred relic sword on your first playthrough, im on ng+4 and get 100k every 5 seconds there, but then again for people who arent near us we need almost 1m+ for 1 level
Yea at that point the best way to get runes is duping items. But you need to be on pc.....and have a friend....so i stick with mohgwyn too xD ..
There's a ridiculous amount of prep for this. You need to be in the end game, you need to not have done stuff, you need three Incantations AND be able to cast those incantations....

All this prep is completely unnecessary. You can do this just fine from level 1 with a bleed weapon and blood arrows. Gives you an even bigger window. It's not as fast but you really don't need it to be.

It’s easier to get to the endgame rune farm by just looking up white-faced Varre and doing his quest because it gives you a teleport to the end game rune farm, only requirement is to kill Godrick
and mohg?
The Area can be access by by going to the secret area with the Grand left and just teleporting there.

That’s how get to the area to shoot the chicken with the bow. The end game farm is called end game farm because you need to beat the game get the sword and then with one swipe you kill all those guys that give you 2k runes each... you will get around 40-50k runes each time
@@LamineYamalinho even going there early game with a standard weapon is still better than grinding the early farm locations. I got to lvl 180 before I even got the sacred relic sword. NG+ is even better 4.8k-5.9k for the little guys and the bird off the cliff gets you 26k
you can do this early, too, using the uchi's or any bleed weapon. though it might take some time, still 65k runes every 4-5 minutes is not that bad compared to farming Vulgar militias. you just gotta be fast in using that horse ^^

Yeah, the prep is just dumb since a few weeks back someone else show the trick on the "spinning mace" trick with bleed on it. So with that u can do the same process and not do all those extra steps (early game) Mid game get golden scarab done. Then again like everyone else has pointed out, there are better places. (Read in Christopher Walkins voice) Finish the game. Get the sacred relic sword, go to new game plus. Go to mohgs area and do that farm. Each one will be worth around 4500-5500 runes. You can get around 100,000 runes every time you release the gold light from one location. This strategy with the dragon is just stressful, where as the mohgs area one is relaxed and new game plus will give you tons of runes. This will give you about a million to two million runes every five to eight minutes.
So IN SUMMARY, you can exploit the big Dragon by getting to the Grace before she "dies" die.
If she's already dead, your sol.

If you are in new game plus, just get the last boss weapon and do the normal rune farm, i get on one special attack for 120k runes. So every 10-20sec 120k

Lol the mohg palace farm gives 63k per wave of gold in ng+ with a golden scarab equipped. A bit over 100k if you clean the whole hill and kill the bird too

You just earned a new subscriber thanks for this and the way I do it is I use rotten breath twice to give him the rot effect then I use swarm of flies till he’s about to die but I let rotten breath finish him off so I have enough time to get back to the grace site
For those playing on PlayStation I highly recommend unequiping all your emotes! I messed this up 3 times in a row due to the motion control giving me an emote instead of resting at the site of grace.
You can literally do it at the same time as mohgwyn area, which gives you more runes and faster. And you can kill mohg really easy to get his weapon and speed up the whole process

Dude the only thing you need for this is the spiked cestus or the morning star which you can get at level 1 and blood arrows. None of this late game setup is required.

I‘m in ng+5 right now and a single swipe of the golden wave on the albinaurics gives me around 85k runes with golden scarab… It takes literally 15 seconds or so. I do not understand why I should stress so much about this dragon not disappearing forever when I simply could press L2 and won‘t waste my time with chopping down the hp. Just play the game and stop wasting time with stupid things like that. Farm the bird and the mobs beside the grace, everything else is a waste of time.

This is cool, but way too much that can go wrong and setup, whereas killing the giant bird over and over at Palace Approach Ledge grace point is doable by any build from a very early level and you can get around 5 million runes per hour.
Are you on NG+? Cause farming the birds without any talismans only gives 11,000 with the talisman it only goes up to 15,000. Do that for an hour and you’ll have a little over a million, but nowhere near 5 million

Why just do the bird though? I was doing that farm early in the game all the little guys are easy pickings and the red ones just pick them off one by one let them spin at you with the red spikes dodge left or right depending what direction they are going and kill them quickly. Doing every enemy and the bird gets you 40-60k depending on if they have glowing eyes then they are worth 10k instead of the 2.4k on the first play through

So the blood bird at Mogh's place drops 13,425 runes if you're just using the gold scarab on NG. I timed it and it's like 14 seconds to get from the grace to the snipe spot, shoot the bird and be back at the grace by the time the runes register. So in about a minute you get 53,700 runes and it costs you like 4 arrows. THIS is like the Rube Goldberg version of a farm, and it net him about 50,000 runes in the same amount of time. Yeah I think the blood chicken still wins.
15 min prep on new account: Get the rotten dog summon to easy kill the boss. Then proceed to the castle area and pick up claw which has blood loss. Then go to the dragon and your ready.
If you're worried about not getting to grace in time just get dragon super low and go to grace then use some bleed arrows for last bit

Don't know if anyone made a video for it yet but if you have the starscourge greatsword and you have access to Mohgwyn Palace.the first grace up on the mountain has a decent amount of mobs that you can kill with the greatsword skill.i think I got maybe 5 million to 8 million in 1 hour but it's definitely for new game plus or late game farming

Damn so the mohg palace is still the best
If you're really early into the game, you do the Varre questline and simply farm the falling crow. you'll have enough levels for better weapons quickly. If you have beaten Radahn at this point which can be done relatively early (I did with a 65lvl character) then his weapons are amazing with their art for clearing out the first bonfire enemies. Farming millions without almost any requirements (except the level to wield Radahns weapons) which can be done with the crow. No need for Altus plateu, or Leyendell castle. Int or Faith builds, incantations. Somber stones to upgrade this weapon are also scattered around Raya Lucaria and Caelid so you can level it up almost all the way up to +9 without issues. Just need to run a bit around and collect them.
A single run nets you 48k souls and is done in 25 seconds. This nets you roughly 8 million per hour, without even reaching Altus plateu or having to spend levels in int or faith for incantations. So quite early really. Arguably a much better farm overall. It's basically the endgame farm just without the end sword and using radahn's instead.
I killed radahn lvl 150… with help of npcs and 2 players who one shotted him well i watched.

I wouldn’t personally recommend this, but for non-PC people who are desperate, currently there is an issue with the game on consoles where unplugging the console (or at the very least on PS4) before exiting and closing the game will cause you to lose data. The issue here is that you’re save data will only be up to when your save file was last securely saved, so if you farm multiple times and then kill the dragon by accident without quitting and exiting the game, all that farmed xp will be gone, so utilize this at your own risk. That being said, I’d rather have that information available for someone who knows that they’d rather lose the time than lose the option entirely.

Right so for people who doesn't know the giant white dragon must be alive in your world for this to work. And before you actually kill him forever reset using the grace but here's the catch you get the runes and the dragon isn't dead.

The bird is, from grace, go to ledge, shoot in between 2 branches, arrow will hit is foot right when he gets there, he then runs straight into the hole since he was already walkijg in that direction (he doesnt have time to turn like this), turn around and sleep.

15 min = 2 million (with golden scarab and about 2 golden foot)

its the best farm for early game if you have any bleed weapon (flail is incredebly good and also you can get it by doing bassicly nothing) its not the best if you dont have a good setup tho
Before NG+, I do the bird farm. I shoot the bird then run over to the closest mobs and use the Starscourge Greatsword and kill as many as I can with one use of the ability. Then run back to grace and repeat. Get probably about the same and it's guaranteed not to disappear.

@@AscentGaming because it isn't a bug, mohg's palace is basically end game content. farming mobs has always been a thing, and its not like the amount of souls they drop are bugged, its just that there are a lot of enemies placed in close proximity
@@Potato_tomato_rice0101 honestly, it's not much about the mobs in the area, and more about the bird that decides to kill himself and give 3 million runes + per hour with a single crossbow and some bolts, and since there's a way to skip to consecrated snowfield that was pretty much certain to not be a planned feature, it seems like something that could have a fix later on. Either the skippable part or the suicidal bird. Probably both tbh.

@@gingfreecss3467 Go to an underground grace called "Mohgwyn Palace", walk 5 meters to stand at the edge of the cliff, shoot arrow at bird (use LB to aim manually) and it will walk off the cliff and die. You'll get like 10K runes every time. Rest at grace and repeat.
You'll have to find a spot that works. For some spots, the bird won't walk off the cliff. If he doesn't immediately run off, just rest and try another spot until you've found a spot that does. There's usually some messages on "working" spots. There's no use in spamming arrows - if he doesn't run off immediately, it's unlikely he will later.
Get the Gold Scarab from Abandoned Cave to increase runes earned from defeated enemies (even if they walk off the cliff and die) by 20% for more runes. Abandoned Cave is a nightmare though, lots of scarlet rot inside.
This is MUCH slower than the Palace Approach Ledge-Road farm, which you can access even earlier than this.

I believe i was the one who told you that he can pop for almost 100k. Also bird is actually about 1 mill per hour, i did the math at 17,219 x 60 and it came out to 1,033,140. Idk where somebody got the idea of the farm bringing 4.9 million per hour, cause thats just not factual. Without the talisman its roughly 11k and with its roughly 13k and then with the foul foot its 17,219k per bird. So if you do that and multiply by 60 mins, you only get 1,033,140 perhour
Swarm of flies is necessary? But then you can just walk a few feet to the bird... I guess this could MAYBE go a little faster if done correctly. As far as I can tell you can actually farm the bird faster if you're quick about shooting him asap and sitting the grace before the souls come back. I think dragon is better as an early game rune farm. Go put down your summon sign at the grace, get summoned, help people kill dragon, profit. Also those bats nearby drop rune 11s which can be useful too if you get summoned by someone not doing dragon.
Guess i should have speed forward the video to see what was going to farm, before i actually spend time to get all the required items. To just realise the dragon was dead 70 hours ago in gametime..

No... arrowing the crow from the Mohg cliff is still faster and WAAAAY easier and impossible to lock yourself out of.
Really don't need all that. Just get a bleed weapon. But golden scarab does help. Bit the flail in a chest near where you get torrent is an easy option. Plus if you have the cold mountains open. Get the rivers of blood katana.
to kill the weird bird chicken you only need a bow, way easier. even if gives less runes, it's more effective

Eh, if it's all you focus on you can get to the Mohgwyn farm in the first hour of a playthrough. Don't even have to actually kill whoever you invade for Varre's quest. If you can kill the Agheel you can use the chest at the ruins to pop over to Caelid and get the Scarlet Rot breath. Takes a little longer but works almost just as good as Wave of Gold.
On NG+ it's just faster to use the End Game farm of course, but I'd hazard a guess that's it's faster and easier to get to Mogh's Cliff farm site on any NG. Still a cool glitch.
it isnt mid game if your build includes a talisman from farum azula, an area that you cant access until late game without glitches

Get him really low on health, Then go to grace point and finish him with arrows, Less chance of missing. i put a +24 bow and +24 Uchigatana with bleed from my main character. can get to 1Mil quick.
Whats crazy is that points end up being about 300k plus after level 200 so 2 million is about 6 points. Its a grind after level 200 regardless.
By level 200, the game is over. You steamroll anything PvE by level 130 if you git gud
@@mrbonlino it being my first Souls game I only so far had help on 3 bosses Melenia, Crazy Godfrey, and Elden Beast its worse that I was lvl 200s tho I also skipped a bunch of bosses I started NG+ so gonna try to not get help this time around
@@ruty6099 there's no shame in it, souls games are souls games. All I'm saying is you should be set by around lvl 150 for NG (NG+ is like 200, which playing the game a 2nd time will give you no problem)
In fact, 150 is a little overlevelled, as I completed the game after doing 90% of content by 140~ and had a decent challenge with the final boss

It says, in the patch notes of version 1.03 "Fires deadly sin affecting the statuses of the weapon in your right hand" so nice try. Dragon trick works, really works with anything that respawns, but the fire deadly sin doesn't work like that any longer.
Actually it does, it no longer applies weapon art buffs to the fire but a spell or incantation buff does work with fires sin which was the intended design, it showed it in a video about the patch the day after

When you get him to very low health can you make your way to the resting point and spam arrows till he dies and rest straight away if your not good at timing with the horse?
I'm pretty sure idk because I've already killed the dragon from another rune "farm" but I'm pretty sure because you just need to make it to the grace as soon as it's dying. I'm pretty sure this will work because the arrows should travel that far

item dupe cloud save method can earn you 200-400 million souls per hr depending on load times and requires at least 2 people but if you have a friend or two and want to actually see what a 99 all stats playthrough feels like this is your best bet

I’d rather finish the game, get the weapon from elden beast, +10 it, then farm the moghwyn bois. 70k per run, 1 run is 10-15 sec
I notice if you dont kill the bird it saves you about 5 seconds of time which makes killing the mobs on the hill quicker to respawn giving more per minute atleast in my case

Just make a save and upload the save to the cloud drop your runes items to a friend re-download the save and just dupe with your friends if your this dedicated to wasting time it literally takes and hour and you can have a full inventory of rune items hope people already new about this method
Pro tip for this method, once you have stacks of 99 of the rune items you want duped, make a rune mule alt that will always have a 99 stack of all them so you can skip the multiplying step in future endeavors and it takes just minutes for each person to hav 70mil+ runes, just be careful not to mix up when you should upload and when to download a save

Farming by abusing game mecanics im cool whit, but abusing bugs thats a no go for me. Too risky, Fromsoft could just banned ppl abusing bugs if they feel like it. Its actually in the EULA. They probably wont to be honest, but we are in 2022... nothing could suprise me anymore...
There is one reliable exploit that has never been patched in any souls game, item dupe/Cloud save scumming
You would get double that with the Moghwyn palace rune farm method.

I rather do Mogwym Palace area using Gold Waves. Consistent and probably more runes per hour. And honestly, if you're going for levels above 200, you want to be in Journey 2 or 3 so you get more runes anyways.
I got fires deadly sin from the ghost without having the painting, but that was before patch.
Probably still quicker to just shoot the bird so it runs off the ledge farm.
Gold-Waving the Albinaurics is still way better, safer and more fun.
