Just a quick tip, if you want to stock up your 999 arrows in your chest, go for it. Every time you rest at a site of grace your arrows will be replenished from your reserves. This applies to any consumable/ammo item in the game.
A heads up guys, this chicken has a chance to spawn with golden eyes which means instead of 13k it'll net you 66k (assuming you have the Gold Scarab Talisman equipped) it's spawned twice for me like that but many hours in-between and it's rare. Every time it has I forgot to eat the Gold Fowl foot rip. So keep an eye out for any glow

Very subtle tips for everyone: 1.) I prefer crossbow because you can load the next shot immediately after shooting the chicken, and it stays loaded after grace so you can quickly fire next time you shoot the chicken and just repeat that 2.) If you spam circle immediately after resting at grace, you will get out of the grace quicker because the menu does not pop up Obviously not major changes to this, but it made my farming go a lot quicker because I think those 10-15 seconds saved added up a lot over an hour of farming. EDIT: If having difficulty skipping the grace menu, try timing it so you spam circle (back button) right before your screen goes completely black. The timing on this is tricky but after a certain amount of runs you should be able to get it.
The spot between the 2 tadpole demihumans near the site of lost grace is a good place to snipe the target since sometimes, the target would stop at the cliff edge when getting shot from other locations. I play a couple hours a day since I work and do fitness stuff too)I was literally running around in circles when I started. Thanks so much for this I’m leveled up enough to actually enjoy exploring without feeling anxious I’ll be one shotted.
@@eagle3774 so I can’t even get to that area I haven’t killed Godrik so Val doesn’t show up and the rose church yet to give me the medallion to go and I’m not playing online so I can’t do the spawn in another persons game three times trick either. I’m locked out if these rune farms and just doing the boulder and the area with the little stone guys. Oh and I did the eat the chicken foot dragon kill one and the black knight on the bridge one hit lvl 60 just now
That early in the game is takes the excitement out of the game IMO, but if you enjoy it that way that’s fine. I’d also recommend a better exploit if you wanna climb levels faster
FYI there is a closer spot where you can manually aim and hit the chickens foot underneath the tree before it turns around, lets me get this done a lot faster than running farther over to the side but requires a little more attention to hit the shot right, without the chicken turning around it also runs straight off the edge faster instead of having the slow u-turn when hit.
The most optimal way to do this is no armor. Bow the chicken and Sword of night and flame heavy special the 2 mobs right next to where you shoot the chicken and run back to the bone fire and immediately rest. If done correctly you get the chicken runes as you rest making it the most optimal farm imo
For anyone who hasn't used a bow in this game, you can buy arrows/bolts from most vendors. Specifically the one at the first church you go to when you start the game.
You can buy a cheap bow from the vendor to the west of the 1st church on the shore under the rock and you can teleport back n forth to the 1st church again to buy more arrows.
Thanks! Do you have or know of any guides to the Great Runes and what they all do? I’m still early game, just got my first, but I’m not sure if I should activate / use it or wait to activate a better one later on because I think there’s a limited number of activations? Also, you can duplicate them, and they each have 2 abilities?? Would be great to learn more. Fextralife kinda explains but not all of them. I’m a mage. Thx
I’ve had a lot of issues shooting the chicken where you stand. I had a lot better luck and consistency on the ledge to the left. Chicken always runs off cliff over there
If you have rock sling, you can use that instead. It will still aggro the chicken and doesn't use up arrows, meaning infinite runes! Even if you time it a little off, the noise makes the chicken run then you can rock sling again to aggro it to you and profit
@@BladeOfDespairr the amount of time saved from not needing arrows on top of being able to be much less accurate since you don't have to hit the chicken dead on every time makes rock slinging better imo. I would have had to just waited a cycle or re-rested dozens of times by now for my aim not being perfect where the rock sling just tracks lol
I prefer using an Icerind Hatchet to kill the Albinaurics instead of the bird. With a +10 Icerind, I can reliably get ~40k+ runes per 30 seconds. Keep that up, and that’s around ~5mil per hour. Only downside is needing the upgraded weapon (and dying pretty quickly if you mess up).
@@thenickoftime167 That requires you to get to end game though. Frost stomp you can get at any time you want essentially. I’m still just running around doing caves and catacombs I missed, or optional bosses.
You can even save some time by not waiting for the numbers to show up to reset, there should be a sound as you sit by the fire. Be careful not to rush it but as long as the chicken went over the side and is falling you should be fine.
Tip: If you got the Sacred Relic Sword and run a faith build you can use its skill on those little ones and in the time it travels shoot the bird. You get around 40k each rotation.
I find it better to aim and shoot in between the tree branches right next to the grace spot. There is s hole between the branches where If you line up with that hole and shoot quick enough, you can hit his leg as he walks forward and it immediately runs off the cliff with no delay. You don’t have to run at all and you basically turn around on the grace spot, walk a few steps and rinse and repeat
Thanks man! Your Videos are really helpful! Finally found a Methode that gives you alot of Runes! I'm currently at Level 126 and one Level already requires 100k Runes. 😅
5:15 didn't fall off the edge there :) it is incredibly consistent, though. i've found standing as close to the edge as you can lures the big bird off the ledge more consistently
@@AlexZ-tn4gl no problem :) if you want even more runes while farming, get the gold scarab talisman (increases runes from every source) and use a gold foot item for more runes temporarily. the bird should be dropping more than 15k a kill. probably about 16k.
I timed myself with a crossbow, gold foot, and scarab talisman and managed to pull 100k in a minute and thirty seconds or so. Admittedly I only timed myself twice, but regardless the runes flow pretty freely!
I mean, it all depends on what attributes you decide to level up. If you level up your strength or dexterity, then yeah, it gets easier, same thing happens if you decide to level up the weapon you use. Simply put: yes, it does get easier, it all goes down on what you decide to level up.
i just have 1 question... if the farm spot is at grace nr 2, why do we start at grace nr 1 and run all the way to grace nr 2? if youve managed to get into this area, chances are extremely high you got both graces
hey man thanks this feels way better than someone just dropping me duped runes. im not down for dupes but cheese is within limits and at least i had to work my way to get here.
Another good spot to shoot it is directly forward from the grace. There's a pointed rock. Stand a few feet back on a more elevated piece, and wait for it to walk away from you. I find this to be the best because if you shoot it from the favored spot you mentioned, it has this nasty habit of stopping and staring at you, and strafing to avoid getting shot.
Super secret pro tip: The bird falls 99% of the time if you quickly look down towards the bottom of the cliff. If you do this, it doesn't matter from where you shoot your arrow. But make sure the bird is not in your field of view when you do this (just stare at the bottom of the cliff until you see the bird falling).
I knew about this of another video and have been doing it. I have worked out when killing the ugly bird by tricking it off the cliff what amount of runes you get. 1) without the gold scarab amulet and gold pickled fowl foot you get 11038 runes 2) If you use the scarab amulet on own you get 13245 runes 3)if you use just the gold fowl foot you get 14349 runes 4)Then if you use both the gold scarab and gold fowl foot you get 17219 runes
I have an even more optimised way, use the scourge greatsword from the Rahdan boss, and use his ashes and you can group nearly all the enemies in two uses and I can do it in 30 seconds and I get like 60k runes
This. Although I don't bother with a second use I just run into the middle of first mob and nuke them and run back quickly. With Gold Scarab and pickled foot approx 30k every 15 seconds. Similar to your method except less risk of those pesky red turtle boys doing cartwheels can occasionally fucking you up, I've lost a lot of runes because I got one shot, then when I ran back to collect my runes I got one shot again lol
Can also use the remembrance from the final boss an use it for the weapon it shoots a wave down the entire hill kills everything in one hit and net your self about 120k in sub 20 seconds
Lol guys. All those enemies on their own should equal a little under 40000 runes without buffs 😂😂😂 if you do it literally every 15 seconds for an hour straight you'll come out just under 10 million souls Is turn into a fishing story here 😂😂😂

You do need to wait for it to fall off. Otherwise there's a possibly chance you wont get the runes. Also, just shoot him right next to the grace rather than running all the way over there. It's faster and much more efficient. I think I get it around 8 times per minute this way.
Still works March 9 but it seems to be a bit harder. You have to stand on the edge in the middle between the site of grace and the mobs, NOT right next to the site of grace.
even more runes if u have radahn greatsword while using special move on the creepy guys sleeping. but youd have to change ur whole build just to get those extra 15k runes is it worth it? idk i wanna try it but already used respec 2 times
Complete the white face Varre questline and he will provide you an item called Pureblood Knight's Medal to travel there, which you will find a Site of Grace further down the road.
if you managed to beat final boss, then using the sacred relic sword is best in that spot. 3 to 5 runs of 30k making it at least 90k per minute, up to 150k if you're fast enough.
Suppose the advantage of this is that you don't have to have a specific build to use the sword (or use up a respec on it) and you can still get the hammer if you want it instead.
@@MINTY_FN 1) it's trivially easy to just duplicate the boss soul to get both the hammer and relic sword 2) after the initial respec to be able to use the sword, that better method will allow you to put 40+ into every stat within the first hour of farming, completely removing the need to ever respec again

Cool story
Cool story bro tell us what you eat for breakfast too
Confirmed, this still works :)
I been farming this area for days and never thought of this
The most optimal way to do this is no armor.
@@scottporter4524 Thanks for adding that. When I started this farm I was hunting animals and crafting arrows. That's why I let people know lol
@@Earl-- Hahaha damn, yeah screw a bunch of that! Glad I helped you save a ton of time!
Thank you, i was getting tired of the boulder
I’m a mage. Thx
Pro-tip, Ditch the bow and use a crossbow for this. The bolts are more of a linear trajectory and always results in an easy hit.
The chicken doesn’t run off anymore. He stays at the ledge and stares you down
You can use the Lions Bow special attack and avoid having to run over to the rock. You need the charm that lengthens bow effective range
I loved that you kept your slip up at the end
I’ve had a lot of issues shooting the chicken where you stand. I had a lot better luck and consistency on the ledge to the left. Chicken always runs off cliff over there
If you have rock sling, you can use that instead. It will still aggro the chicken and doesn't use up arrows, meaning infinite runes! Even if you time it a little off, the noise makes the chicken run then you can rock sling again to aggro it to you and profit
True but it still takes longer than just shooting with a bow, i tried both methods and rock sling takes longer sadly
You missed an edit at the end haha. Great video
Can't wait to get home to try this out. Got a lot of work to do. Never even knew this location existed
I prefer using an Icerind Hatchet to kill the Albinaurics instead of the bird. With a +10 Icerind, I can reliably get ~40k+ runes per 30 seconds. Keep that up, and that’s around ~5mil per hour. Only downside is needing the upgraded weapon (and dying pretty quickly if you mess up).
yeah, the point of this is that it's risk free and requires no actual skill to perform
Try the sword you get from the last boss. Kills all of them with one swing and has zero risk
Hoarfrost Stomp is best route. 40k in 30 seconds with just golden scarab. The birds too inconsistent for me, not a guarantee it’ll run off.
@@dustinkilby3628 with the sword from the last boss right here killing albuirnacs you can get 60k in 3 seconds
Great video, man! However, I'm very curious as to why you kept in the line flub at 5:57? Why not just edit it out?
Great vid brother!
Congrats on almost 1million subs
5:15 didn't fall off the edge there :)
it is incredibly consistent, though. i've found standing as close to the edge as you can lures the big bird off the ledge more consistently
Underrated comment. This tip helped me a lot thank you.
Thank you! It helped a lot.
Thank you so much for this 😁🎮👍
eventually we're gonna get 10mil/hr
I know right!? This guy is a beast, vid after vid after vid!
lol there is already a 10 mil an hour farm'
Already a 10-11 mil an hour... though its more like 13-15 if you do perfect runs and have enough feet :)
for mages, you can also use the rock sling but you need to time it earlier because of the charge up
Thank you
Can't wait to see your other videos.
Thanks dude this helps alot
Thank you, this helped me level up so many levels.
As you level up do they get easy to kill? Or does it feel like nothing changed?
I mean, it all depends on what attributes you decide to level up. If you level up your strength or dexterity, then yeah, it gets easier, same thing happens if you decide to level up the weapon you use. Simply put: yes, it does get easier, it all goes down on what you decide to level up.
i usually get 500 arrows and they auto fill when you sit
I did this for two hours with both fowl foot and Scarab and I got around 7 million Runes. This helped
i just have 1 question... if the farm spot is at grace nr 2, why do we start at grace nr 1 and run all the way to grace nr 2? if youve managed to get into this area, chances are extremely high you got both graces
This still works for anyone wondering.
If the chicken isn’t falling down for you just do it near the guy sitting down. Seems to work around there.
Thanks this was very helpful
hey man thanks this feels way better than someone just dropping me duped runes. im not down for dupes but cheese is within limits and at least i had to work my way to get here.
Super secret pro tip:
The bird falls 99% of the time if you quickly look down towards the bottom of the cliff. If you do this, it doesn't matter from where you shoot your arrow. But make sure the bird is not in your field of view when you do this (just stare at the bottom of the cliff until you see the bird falling).
I learned this after noticing him stop short a few times.
Thanks
I knew about this of another video and have been doing it.
I have worked out when killing the ugly bird by tricking it off the cliff what amount of runes you get.
1) without the gold scarab amulet and gold pickled fowl foot you get 11038 runes
2) If you use the scarab amulet on own you get 13245 runes
3)if you use just the gold fowl foot you get 14349 runes
4)Then if you use both the gold scarab and gold fowl foot you get 17219 runes
Xp or runes or are they the same thing sorry I’m new
@@andrewkaminer9757 They are the same.
@@andrewkaminer9757 runes are both xp and currency
@@andrewkaminer9757 lol I changed it realized unless you played you wont get it lol but yes there both basically the same.
is it just me or does the bondfire take longer and longer to load as you farm the area?
I swore i wouldnt cheesy my first play through....then I got to Radhan aaaaand here we are lol. Awesome guide
Lol guys. All those enemies on their own should equal a little under 40000 runes without buffs 😂😂😂 if you do it literally every 15 seconds for an hour straight you'll come out just under 10 million souls
Is turn into a fishing story here 😂😂😂
@@averywalden5204 Relax mate, I don't have the most optimal farming build yet. I'm sure theres a better way but this works best for me at this point into he game sheeesh
@@Wi11iamNZit's all good my guy, I was just saying 🙌
The boss for the area weapon works good but I think the ash of war hoarfrost stomp works the best for clearing all those guys out fast
Pro Tip: Use the Arrow's Reach Talisman for increased bow effective range.
@Sister Mary Clements you do realize you can equip 3 talisman right ?
@@VancouverLegendz I can equip 4
@@kaiserion_yt nice. I guess I haven’t reached that yet.
Pro tip
Just check key items and you can see how many extra slots you can get of that item
Like talisman pouches you can get 3 making it a total of 4. And Memory Stones can get 8 extra.
@@VancouverLegendz you can equip 4 ya dunce
If you use the rejection spell you can blast the two guys off the cliff per run as well
Thanks! Great to have a rune-farm for a less skilled ER gamer like me, I just keep loosing the runes I earn as I play, so farming is the only way I can level.
This is awesome. Thank you. I’m not great at these games but had to give this one a shot because of the word of mouth, so this makes things a little easier. Unfortunately, I’m still having trouble getting the golden scarab, but this beats the boulder method and eventually I’ll get the scarab when I’m strong enough
If you're on Xbox I could help ya.
Do you have Flame, Cleanse Me? If so you can just roll through the rot and then apply it twice to get rid and run straight to the boss

@@eternalfps3124 I do not have those yet. I watched one of his other videos and in order to get to this location there’s a certain boss that needs to be defeated… i thought I could just get there now. I’m actually having more fun playing this than I thought I would thanks to a guide I’m following. I’m getting stronger and bosses aren’t as bad as I thought they would be. Last night I killed the dragon near the start of the game, along with other cave bosses, Including what’s considered the first boss. The guy with the glowing hammer. Don’t know his name. This game is fun though
Finally a guide to my find, remember to not over level for anyone enjoying pvp
You're a savage for that
@Rikeisha PvP is connected based on level..so if you over level..you could get match up with someone Whoes already finished the game and had OP build and equipment.. while you have meh gear but high level..
@Rikeisha souls games pvp usually runs off a level range so you can only fight people within a certain range like level 100 can pvp with people lvl 90-110 as a example
@Rikeisha because you have ok gear and match up with someone with super ass gear
@Rikeisha You get matched with me and one hit destroyed. 🤣🤣
Hey homie can you put a link to the video how to get to the location? much appreciated you made a comment about it but is not here?
Thank you so much man!
Ur a god
Wow! saw this posted by someone else the day before u posted this, Cool
even more runes if u have radahn greatsword while using special move on the creepy guys sleeping. but youd have to change ur whole build just to get those extra 15k runes is it worth it? idk i wanna try it but already used respec 2 times
Heads up if you are a sorcerer you can use the rock sling spell for this instead of a bow.
I stole the rock sling and Meteorite now I’m just gonna follow suit. Thanks
@@adriansalas9032 no problem it helped me level to 117.
How do you get to the dynasty mausoleum?
Complete the white face Varre questline and he will provide you an item called Pureblood Knight's Medal to travel there, which you will find a Site of Grace further down the road.
Is this still working after update today? They wouldn’t try to nerf farming locations would they?
Does the Loretta bow spellhave enough range to substitute for the bow?
if you managed to beat final boss, then using the sacred relic sword is best in that spot. 3 to 5 runs of 30k making it at least 90k per minute, up to 150k if you're fast enough.
Suppose the advantage of this is that you don't have to have a specific build to use the sword (or use up a respec on it) and you can still get the hammer if you want it instead.
@@MINTY_FN
1) it's trivially easy to just duplicate the boss soul to get both the hammer and relic sword
2) after the initial respec to be able to use the sword, that better method will allow you to put 40+ into every stat within the first hour of farming, completely removing the need to ever respec again
He'll run off the cliff every time if you hit him in the leg as he's passing by the circle in the branches
Also if you have Starscourge Swords and use the AoE, you can quickly farm the Albinaurics next to you for a total of 50,000 runes every time you reset (including the bird)
No aiming required, prefect!
Wow I actually found this out for myself when I was trying to get rid of those bloody chickens. I used the Loretta Great Bow spell.
