i think you're mixing up the old thinkpads that were upgradable and resold a lot nowadays for cheap (t480 still good for basic stuff) the x series thinkpads are their expensive ones, there are T series and E series and others that are more affordable

Also, I don’t want my phone’s battery to drain out fast by using it as a hotspot. From a business standpoint, many businesses do not allow someone to carry a phone for security reasons. Having a sim connectivity in addition to wireless connectivity is a boon.
I wish to use at least a 15-inch laptop with an Intel Core Ultra 9 or Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor with a decentish Nvidia graphics card, a minimum of 16 GB( it should be upgradeable) or 32 GB RAM and 1 TB Storage. It should also have an OLED display with a minimum 2K resolution and a 2 in 1 laptop with a touch screen display.

As someone who have used ThinkPads for writing scripts and video editing i don't care about gaming performance, i don't have the time to play games, this is perfect for professionals and caters to them specifically.

Just want to say that gen 8 is better because you get a stylus that charges inside the laptop. Not true with the gen 9. Gen 8 has sim slot too and you can add esim. You can pick up the gen 8 now at a reduced price. Thinkpads have the best keyboards.

I think this laptop is way overpriced for its specs like i know 360 degree flip laptops are expensive but still their hardware like the HP 360x envy with a better gpu or the software such as the samsung book 4 360 which has better display and ecosystem features but still the E-Sim addition in this laptop is kinda unique but still not worth the price
