Welcome To Survival-Russia. One of the very best Outdoors and Survival related communities on RUclips, and yes, It's a pretty good Channel too.
My name is Lars. I'm From Denmark but I live in Rural Russia now. I live at a Homestead in wild nature surrounded by a huge forest.
On The Survival-Russia channel we do all things related to the Outdoors Lifestyle. I share my thoughts and experiences on Survival Techniques for the woodlands of the Northern Hemisphere. the Reality of Survival. I share Techniques and ways of the Siberian Tribesmen and the Russian Longhunters of the older days. Things not shown outside of Russia very much.
On this Channel we also do Off-Road driving, Vehicle builds, Metal Detecting, all things Outdoors basically. Enjoy!

You Know it's a house for generations to come when they say "what's a 2x4???" when building it.
Also a nice bonus when you can warm yourself up by burning the scrap from the job. Amazing work guys!

Lars you know that when you've completed with this project that, yes it was a lot of work, but it was done right. You will also know that this 12 sided House will remain standing for 150 plus years from now. I think it's remarkable what you are doing.

It is good to see these periodic reports, that you are still near the homestead. Just as you have a special tree for mounting useful things on, or a printer for describing certain phenomonon, You certainly have no control over everything, and there are human limits.
Sometimes things only get worse, before sunrise. Wish you well Lars, Best to your better half, and the little ninjas.

Nice job on those mortises. Having no experience timber framing I would probably have drilled the holes for the dowels with the parts assembled on the workbench, nice tip offsetting the hole in the tenon slightly to tighten the joint. Is the first part of the dowel tapered to make it easier to get started? The framing is coming along nicely, well done. I am enjoying watching this build and learning at the same time. Thanks Lars
