Your top is so cute I absolutely love it. I think that's a good mentality to have, about the reading slumps. Sometimes I find myself just really busy without having the time/energy to read, and I try to just do other things that excite me until I get in to a reading mood again haha.
Also, 10/10 advice on how to get in to fantasy books. Would definitely recommend.

I don't think of a reading slump the way you do. I consider a reading slump to be when I REALLY want to read something good, and everything is the wrong mood, or is disappointing. I've had a terrible reading year. I mostly re-read my favourite books because I can't find anything that interests me. And when I finally do, I finish the book in a day.

The "how to read more fantasy" question was interesting! I like the "idea" of fantasy, but reading it is so tedious for me. I enjoy audio books for fantasy, just can't sit down and read one.

I wasn't the person who asked the reading-slump question, but I appreciated the advice because in August I auditioned for the school musical and got in and then there was a LOT of practice on top of schoolwork so I just didn't feel like reading much and then by October I was in the middle of like 4 books (QoS, Steelheart, Magnus Chase) which I had been really enjoying and loving but just still haven't finished. I did manage to finish The Winner's Curse this month and am in the middle of Angelfall but my reading schedule is just crazy right now and I don't know how to fix it. I also got in kinda a reading slump from March-May but idk if it was because really I was reading The Final Empire which took me like a month to finish (which I LOVED btw and have since then read The Well of Ascension which I loved even more. I would've read it faster had I not been going to school) so I guess it was worth it but yeah hopefully next year will be better.
