    How is the Derma EMS Shot device similar and different to that of the NuFace Trinity Toning Device? I’ve never purchased a beauty tool, but I’m seriously considering one and having information about the two tools similarities and differences would be very helpful! Thanks so much!!

    • @Tati
      @Tati  2 года назад +145

      Nuface device uses microcurrent. Microcurrent is based in Alternating Current, which is an alternating low level current that actually mimics the current in our own bodies. And it may have further benefits in terms of anti-aging process. It also helps to increase ATP production in the body, so it is important much like many things in your body, such as collagen elastin. Derma EMS Shot uses EMS(mid-frequency energy). It means Electrical Muscle Stimulation, just like with microcurrent, this is also an Alternating Current. However, it is a medium frequency it is also a bit stronger in terms of the electrical current itself and the goal of EMS is a deeper stimulation so it really reaches in to the muscle and can help with muscle toning. You will feel that your muscle is contracting and relaxing with EMS, similar to exercising. And that's the reason why you sometimes see these referred to as exercise for the face and in fact, that is the principle here. You are strengthening your muscles so you can maintain their shape much better. xo's

      I am running a med spa, and my clients also often asked this question. I am astonished by how informative and accurate Tati's explanation is. NuFACE's Trinity has been famous in this market but I see Medicube's at-home devices as next-generation at-home devices that could possibly replace NuFACE. Would be a great chance to step into this at-home device world.

      Get the Dr. Dennis Gross or another FDA approved LED mask. That is actually proven to stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis as well as help with killing the bacteria that causes acne ( P. Acnes) as well as helping to break down melanin in the epidermis. Red light emitted by LED can also help with skin inflammation. I have to look into the pathways through which this is achieved but derms use these devices in their office all the time. Theirs are more "potent" because they know how to employ them and they use them in a clinical setting where they are prepared in case something goes wrong. But the at home use ones are efficacious, too--- BUT we have to use them every day.

    Tati, this is coming from a 39 year old woman. Thank you so much for slowing down on the injectables. Botox and other injectables is a personal decision and no one should EVER be shamed for their decision. With that said, it can be very discouraging to see everyone on social media with faces that do not move. You are stunningly gorgeous, and more so now without the Botox because we can see you. It’s hard to take someone’s skincare recommendations seriously when they are plumped out and injected to the 9’s. Love you Tati 🤍

Last month I started using some of the acne care products from the medicube line and they ACTUALLY work! I can see a huge difference already, less new breakouts and a lot smoother texture. Besides them working for her? If it’s that important to you I would suggest to go into a Medspa, a place that does similar treatments and speak with a specialist. Googling won’t show you the “science”, but you can speak with a professional. Even Wayne Goss and Dr Dray approve of the Ziip - which has been released to the public- but the ziip treatments are available in Melanie Simon’s practice. At home treatments are typically not as strong as one you get in the spa but they are safe for at home use and are gentle enough to not cause any serious damage. You have to use them more often to get the same results as going to a specialist’s practice but it is way more affordable. These treatments are what people in film and media do besides Botox and all the things. It’s part of their job to look good so that’s what they do in the spa. That’s why when you come out to LA and you hear about people turning plans down, no they have a spa date, that’s why. They get all of it done once a month, and it’s work. But yes, it does work.

      Ems machines have been around for years. Doctors, physical therapist, and chiropractors use them to stimulate muscles when they have experienced some sort of trauma or other issues. It also helps relax tense muscles. It sends an electric pulse to the muscle causing the muscle to contract. While I haven't tried a face version, I have personally used an ems machine and they work. Other facial rollers etc help increase blood flow and help drain swelling, as well as lymphatic fluid from your face. I could get into it further of the science but yes this tools have legit science behind them and should help your skin and muscles. Not saying you use it once and you look like you got botox but it will promote healthy tissues. The quicker your cells heal, the slower the aging

There are a lot of us out here who are aging gracefully and it's nice to watch someone who isn't afraid to discuss it, and lead the way. I lead a holistic lifestyle and tuning out influencers not on that path. The 'anti-aging' community doesn't interest me because it's not REAL. Tati, what do you do for your neck and chest please? Do you use separate skin care or tools? Upwards or downwards strokes?

    • @victoria-emmajd5454

      well I use Medicube's EMS Shot with an upwards stroke! It really helps lift sagging skin such as my neck!
      I stimulate the muscles deep inside the neckline& chest, giving you all the tension relief that you need.

    You look incredible Tati and anyone commenting on your age is someone that is insecure about their own inevitable aging and mortality.
    That said, aging is a gift not afforded to all. I've lost loved ones so damn young that it's crazy! My bff was killed in an accident aged 30; his aunt 2 weeks later in an accident aged 40; my niece aged 36; a sister aged 46; a colleague aged 32 --- and various others at ages either side of those mentioned.
    We've all lost people, so if you get to celebrate living, do more of that xxx

    As someone who's only invested in the $50 NuDerma argon and neon high frequency wand and L & L Skin heating and cooling vibrating gua sha tool I can say they work. I have seen an improvement in facial puffiness, which for me causes saggy cheeks, and i have had much more relaxed muscles which noticeably reduces my fine lines on my forehead. If I keep up with my facial massage my man will literally accuse me of getting 'something done' it's THAT noticeable. And let me tell you, I got perfect skin. Hardly any scars, I have taken really good care of my skin, I have barely any noticeable pores and always avoid the sun. I nuture my skin from the inside by taking really good collagen and hyaluronic acid supplements. When I am not anemic and my face isn't so puffy in between iron IV treatments I get accused of being 24-26 when I'm almost 37. So yes. It works. You need to do your research on why the item does what it says it's doing and YES you need to keep up on this stuff. you can't just eat horribly, do it once a week and expect a lovely lifted face with small pore and few to no fine lines. So what I love about the facial massage is you are pushing product in. So if you invest in good 'crude free' products you really get that hydration into your skin and plump it up and increas elastin and collagen production.
    I am broke and looking for a job at the moment and I can say that doing this stuff for myself as a disable individual with medical PTSD, constantly being triggered due to intense care needs, is really helpful to relax my mind and stress and totally worth investing in and just going to the food pantry. It's absolutely worth investing in yourself and think about it: if you are truly looking to improve your skin quality you will spend $200 on ONE FACIAL...ONE microcurrent facial in NY is almost $200 in my area. I'd rather do it myself with a tool that should last for years.

    Might have to look into something like this in a few years perhaps. I'm 42 right now and thankfully have very good skin and no obvious wrinkles. I do use very good skincare morning and night routinely and take lots of collagen, protein and other vitamins and supplements. I feel lucky my skin looks good at 42 but I'm sure in a few years I'll want additional help. Thank you for another great video!
