I went to school with a kid named Jeff who was exactly like Craig. He wouldn't talk, but he would make those exact same facial expressions. So we called him Silent J.
I spoke to John once at a meet and greet. I told him "It's an honor to meet you, Myung!" He looked deep into my soul and gave me the most sincere "Wow thank you that means a lot." Top 5 moments of my life for sure. Meanwhile fucking bastard LaBrie didnt even look at me when he signed my LP lmaoooo
I think the reason why Craig doesn't talk is because he has social anxiety or an anxiety disorder called selective mutism. I used to have it when I was younger and I still have really bad social anxiety.
Back in like 2010 he used to go to a bar that i frequently visited, i didnt know who he was until my musician friends started fluttering to him. He is very quiet and very chill. He does talk, but only if someone was trying to talk to him, and even if i was two seats away i could barely hear him. It was fascinating to witness all of this.

Very heavy and very uncomfortable.
