you all stare but you'll never see, there's a comedian inside me
cross breed I don't know who you are but I love you buddy.
Win. This comment wins.
I'm calling Corey's wife!
I'd pay to see his routine live. He's not bad at stand up. Almost rather see that than Slipknot nowadayze.
holy you're epic
“We keep a woman in a box, we don’t feed her, and she is not happy about that.” Corey Taylor says to a judge that’s might be able to rule him guilty.
*Not too happy about that.
He clearly didn't know how to respond.
Not particularly happy
This guy is a fucking gift to humanity from God
If he's a gift from God, then I'm worshipping the Devil. I don't even believe in the devil, but you're forcing my hand here.
@Richard Cheese …w h a t
relax, he's just a dude that sings songs.
@@Living_Dead_Girrl Ok man, you can stop militancy now.
@ Aris Agreed. Ultimate solution always dwells in seeming darkness.
"We're keeping a woman in a box"
...... swear to God! ...... and..... we don't feed her, and she's not too happy about that!
Oh good you watched the video too
He sounds like Bane from the Dark Knight Rises when he does the judge voice haha
drumd00d spot on. uncanny
+drumd00d I'd never thought about it like that before... but now it makes sense
see I'm thinking more Mason Verger from Hannibal :')
Rebecca Marshall
Is that from the TV show? I've only seen the Silence of the Lambs
No its from the sequel to silence of the lambs
Corey is a fucking comedian.
ikr lol
gringo livin he needs to be one
Purity is my favorite Slipknot song.
11 years later, what do you think now? My favorite too.
Jesus Corey Taylor was on speaker
Phone with bane?
My thoughts exactly.
Corey would be a fantastic stand up comic
Gary Clayton he is a fantastic stand up comic.
Comedian*. But I must agree nevetheless
no
You got that right... very descriptive
@@fuckcraigsgloves8656 they meant comic. Exact same thing
The first time I heard the song Purity, I immediately thought of Colleen Stan, a hitch-hiking woman in northern California who was kidnapped by Cameron Hooker and kept in a box. I seen a documentary about it and I thought Slipknot MUST have been inspired by this story. If they weren't, well her experience is exactly what comes to my mind every time I hear that song.
In a world where 507 people 'like' the first person sentiments of others being buried alive
i thought the same thing!!! that case was so freaky
Lol purity is my favortie slipknot song...
Ryan Goldberg Same
It's not my absolute FAVORITE, but I love this song
Am I the only one who thinks he should do stand up comedy? XD
Nope xD
He really should xD
dutch massive you sound mad, please continue to be mad, it makes me happy =)
No
jj righteous calm down
"Well Mister Taylor, you should've respected my authorita!"
the first person that came to mind was cartman lmao 'respect my authority'
That's cuz they were partially quoting Cartman, dumbass!
*Mistuh Tayluh!!!
Cartmendez
*YES*
XD LOL
I'm lucky, I got their self titled album with purity on it. It was back in 99 or 2000. I'm pretty sure 99. I keep that CD in a special place so it doesn't get scratched or messed up.
I got it too w frail limb nursery. It's still sealed too. That's the best part.
since corey won the case is the song purity back on new pressings of the album
@@thankyou2532 ya
@@fuckcraigsgloves8656 thanks trinity bless you www.equip.org
@@thankyou2532 no prob man
Purity is my absolute favorite song from slipknot! :)
that song was why I fell in love with the band. and was let down when they did the Iowa record. I wanted more stuff like that
@@jasonriffe6536 a band will change its sound dude...
"When Iowa is ashes...you have my permission to own this song".
That album has a better flow with frail limb nursery and purity on it
CPotter Vlog it would've been more awesome if they never took those songs off in the first place....darker feel.
yeah especially since the end of tattered and torn is supposed to carry on into frail limb nursery
Purity is one of the best Slipknot songs ever, same as Diluted.
Hell yea. I had the original and had to rebuy it after someone broke into my car and was like wtf? Where's purity?
@Nolin Bronson Frail Limb Nursery isn't back on the album in reissues because it used samples from crimescene.com, the site Corey got the name of Purity Knight from. The spoken word on Frail Limb Nursery is taken from a purported recording of Purity telling a story to a child who had found the grate over her buried prison. The recording, of course, is fake because Purity and her story were made up. Crimescene.com presents the stories as real... but also claims to be based in Yoknapatawpha county, a fictional town from the novels of Southern Gothic writer William Faulkner (they're now clearly labeled as fiction, but back in the 90's they were more of a scare site than an educational/interactive fiction site). Since the case is a work of fiction and all documentation related to it was created as part of that fiction, Slipknot were blocked from using the sample for copyright reasons. Since Frail Limb Nursery has basically no content without that sample, it's never been remixed without it (doesn't help that by the time the case was settled and the reissues came up, they'd probably lost the original recording from which the sample could be removed).
im amazed after all the drinking and injury's coeys had he can still remember stuff from 10 yrs ago
I liked Corey a lot...
Now I like him a lot more because of that Millennium Falcon shirt
What's the Minnellium Fancol?
Liam Riker The hell's an aluminum falcon?
Look what his shirt says
My respect rose for that man when I saw that shirt.
So you like people based on their clothes? God, what an asshole!!!!!
Corey Taylor is the best comedian! I've heard he also makes music?! ;-)
lmaoo i see what you did there ;-)
This guy makes music?
I love how in everyone of these videos, Corey always ends off on a life lesson that he learned. It's fucking rad.
Holy shit... I remember loving Purity off the original album, which I bought about a year before Wait & Bleed was released as a single. But I remember, my buddy buying their debut album around the time they went commercial, and it not having Purity on it, but instead, another song, with a milotic chorus that I loved. I always wondered why Purity wasn't on his copy...
The song that replaced it was "Me Inside" incase you are wondering. It's one of my favourite SlipKnoT songs!
Dallas Bagley what does the word milotic mean? Or was "Melodic" misspelled?
@@dntinker Milotic is a Pokémon, haha.
CMFT in the background
CMFT= Corey Mother Fuckin' Taylor
He sounds like Bane when he does the judge voice haha.
you read a comment from 2 years prior to make this joke
Billy Alarie true though
It was great the got the song back because really...."Purity" is one of the better songs off the self-titled record in my opinion
YOU ALL STARE BUT YOU'LL NEVER SEE, THERES SOMETHING IN YOU I DESPISE.!!
Does anyone else think the judge sounds like BANE xD
oh my god yes XD
Great video.
Gotta say this though. The comments on this video are basically: "Corey should do standup", "The judge sounds like Bane", "I have that shirt!" and "Purity is my favorite song" lol
Mr. Tayluh!!!!!
I'm from North Carolina and I approve this message.
You all stare, but you'll never see, something inside me
You all stare, but you'll never see, there's something in you I despise...
Purity!
And then all of a sudden her head dipped back and she vanished
Something in you I Despise.!
Purity is one of the best songs Slipknot has. I must say for only having 4 albums, and 9 musicians in the band, I think that is impressive, and the reached number one on the billboards on the fourth album.....I wonder how the next album will be when it comes out. HURRY UP SLIPKNOT!!!
Well. They have have 3 new albums out.
How’d you like their other 3 new albums?
Bruh
Historical
I love how Corey Taylor speaks the truth!!!!!
When I saw the thumbnail I at first thought purity?? Why he talking bout celibacy? LOL then I WAs was like duh 🤦♀️ it’s the song lol
I still have the first issue debut album with the song and Frail Limb Nursery on it :o
I had that too.. Wish my cds weren't stolen..
ABSTRKTAPPRITION I have it but track 7 says it’s corrupted 🙁
I had that in cassette tape.
I had the original digipack of the album back in 99 and I gave it away to my friend's neice when highly intoxicated. One of the million mistakes I've made!
Get Frail Limb Nursery rereleased again on the album!
Right?! Purity feels weird without it.
They're never getting that back in a million years. They use it live but they'll never re-release it
1:05 Corey are you sure THAT was" the weirdest thing you've ever been a part of "
The 10th-anniversary edition of 'Slipknot' has 'Purity' on it, as well as another bonus track, demo tracks, and remixes of songs 'Sic' and 'Wait and Bleed'. It doesnt have 'Frail Limb Nursery' though.
Thank you for saying that because I just looked at it on amazon music and holy shot it even has snap thank you so much I feel like a little kid on Christmas Day thank you really
That was fire thanks for sharing. Corey is a legit comedian, Purity is a favorite and I love it even more now.
Just when you think Corey cant get any more awesome, he does a stand-up routine in a millennium falcon t-shirt
Fucking love purity. One of the best songs on the album
His judge impression sounds like Bane!
No it doesn't lol. Bane has like a Germanish accent. At least in the new movie he does. In the animated series it's more hispanic sounding. This right here is him doing a deep southern accent. Bane does not sound southern in the slightest lol. Corey sounds more like he's doing a Foghorn Leghorn impression.
lasoogneypubes bane has an english accent when portrayed by tom hardy just saying
matatmat It sounds more like a German accent to me. Also don't say "just saying". You don't need to point out that you're just saying something.
lasoogneypubes youre obviously not from england then. and okay then, any thing else to add?
matatmat Never heard a single englishman talk like Bane before. Do YOU have anything else to add?
i Love 'Purity'! always moved me crazy when i started listening to their first self-titled album...
That is my favorite song since day one!!!!
I can't fault his humor, this had me crying laughing
"That Midwestern spin". We bury a lot of girls in boxes out here.
I just listened to Iowa before this. I’m impressed to see this hilarious man talk about getting back Purity, whilst creating the most fucked up song I’ve ever heard.
what a great speaker... i wish i had this speaking ability!! a 7 minute funny speech off of one question!
I HAVE THE SAME SHIRT COREY WAS WEARING I CANT EVEN RIGHT NOW
Totally sounds like Bane here, hahaha.
You think the dark is your ally. You mearly adopted the dark. I was born in it. Molded my it
Its these little details that make slipknot the best band ever , they truly stick to they're goals
Thank you! Wondered why mine had it and no one else did.
That song has many a meaning. You can be alone and fighting against whatever KEEPS YOU IN THAT BOX.......
Happy he spoke about my favourite slipknot song!
OMFG I HAVE THAT TEE SHIRT, MAYBE EVEN IN THE SAME SIZE, I WORE IT IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
I would've listen to his stories for ages LOL
Awesome video! Corey really is a very funny guy, as well as being intelligent and articulate. Just awesome.
Phil and corey are both great speakers i like them both
TOTALLY!!! Man, I was doubting it but when it came...man.
Amazing & perfect song, Cory touches & heals me with his genuine passion & indescribable pain & rage which I also live with everyday, I've been in a really dark place lately and if it had not been for bands like Slipknot I would have probably murdered all the toxic people around me or killed myself already.
Absolutely brilliant
As someone from NC, that is exactly how our judges sound. Goddamn I laughed my ass off to this.
Me Inside was an amazing song too. It sucked having to buy both versions of the CD to have both songs back then though! But it was worth it!
I still have the copy of it with purity I didn't even know about me inside for like another three years when I had to buy a new copy and I was pissed I that was one of my favorite tunes but really its good from beginning to end but I still was mad I had to find another copy
they were handing out slipknot tapes for free at ozzfest 99' and i loved that song, played the shit out of the whole tape every day. Once that tape was too worn out to play, i bought the cd and was freaking out wondering what happened to the song, i thought i was just crazy i couldnt find the song. i had no idea there was this issue about purity and they removed it. figured it out years later.
What an amazing damn album too
What can Corey Taylor not do? He's just hilarious XD
Corey is my favourite comedian
Omg I love ur pfp lmfao
Im just glad that I bought a copy before it was taken off. I love Me Inside and all but I'd rather have purity. Not like that matters now but back then if you didn't have it......you didn't hear it
Purity is my favorite song
the first editions had purity on them. Mine did. I bought the week it was released.
Man if he could put together a bunch of stories like these he could make the sickest stand up comedy ever!!!
Purity, best song on the album.
Fantastic video!
I have that same shirt that he is wearing! He makes a good comedian by the way.
Every time I see a video of Corey I am either inspired or laughing my ass off xD
Not surprised at all the judge was from North Carolina. Hypnosis is a box for my head too.
"And then...when you have told me the meaning of your song...THEN you have my permission to die."
My thoughts exactly
Oh god, it is a Bane voice.
Being from NC myself, his judge's accent sounds more like he's from georgia.....useless info i know lol
what am amazing story teller
i was freaked out by that song but know i am just going to laugh at it, thanks Corey you can make the darkest shit funny.
i had the original copy with purity on it song number 8. i couldnt find a copy with purity after that now i know why
Dude purity is for sure on my top 5 favorite slipknot songs it's a banger
I'm from North Carolina and I don't talk like that X'D!!!!
Randa Leigh my thoughts exactly
Randa Leigh Me either haha
Me too
boxing Helena was a trip ... We are bored af in the Midwest
always
this is completely awesome, Corey Taylor is amazing
This is the reason why i really love Slipknot. Because they are all honest to themselves.. And They'll true..
Frail Limb Nursery was what set up Purity. I wish I could find it. Or the original self-titled album. I had that album but who knows what happen to that over time. Next thing you know I had the Me Inside version. Bummed. Re-Release!!
its all over youtube
i have those two song if ya want me to send 'em to ya
Do it
Good thing we didn’t fuckin loose the song before the internet started poppin and now we have leaks and shit and RUclips for it to be on
I remember reading this in Seven Deadly Sins.
on the 10th anniversary edition of the album, have the original track list with purity
Corey sounds like Gary Oldmans character Mason Verger in Hannibal when he's describing the judge 😂😂😂
HANDS ON MY FACE OVERBEARING! I CAN'T GET OUT! You all stare but, you'll never see. There's something inside me...
I bought the CD that had 'purity' on it before it was taken off the shelves. Didn't even know why that was taken off until now.
You ...SIR.
CRACK ME UP!!!!
He's a multi talent 🤘🏼😈👊🏼
Your picture. foREver.
corey is just like my uncle crazy and down to earth guy
that old man laugh he did at the end made me crack up for some reason
I would have added also why didn't Frail Limb Nursery come back with it since it's basically the connected intro/prelude to Purity
Lol the story about the judge reminds me of times I coughed really hard to cover up laughter lol. :-)
man i gotta stop favoriting every single video with corey....but he's just so awesome
