The amazing thing about Bruno Mars is that you won't remember him as the 2nd Michael Jackson, but simply as Bruno Mars, a guy who's established himself as one of the most amazing artists out there on par with that of the late greats.

But there was and is only 1 MJ cuz he was a genius music artist. Like there is not 2nd John Lennon or David Bowie, Freddie Mercury, Mick Jagger,etc,etc...they R legends.

I love how whenever a singer covers an MJ song or performs it live, most of the comments below the video usually goes like : "no one can top MJ" or "the original is way better" . I mean duh, obviously MJ is MJ and no one is gonna perform his songs or any other song like he did but this cover was okay you know, not bad. MJ is immortalized by his music, I am honored to be his fan

Bruno Mars sang it very well but they need to stop trying to play guitars, leave heavy guitars to the rockers, it took away from the song.

OMG I have an entirely NEW respect for this man! I am a SERIOUS MJ fan who does NOT typically appreciate folks trying to sing his songs, but Bruno did an EXCELLENT job with this one.

Yes nothing will top MJ's version. But get that stick out of your but and give credit. Bruno nailed it. Great voice and he and his live band are great performers. I'm not even a huge Bruno fan but his music is always catchy and he actually makes good pop tunes and has a great ear for music and actually plays instruments pretty well.

I checked out the Weeknd's cover and I have to say that Bruno Mar's pays complete homage to Michael in so many words. The Weeknd's sounds good but it just doesn't have the passion that Bruno has. I wish Bruno put this on a CD it'd go platinum for sure.

I love Bruno mars. I think he is the closest thing to mj we have currently. did someone say they were friends or did some recording together? sometimes I think Michael's spirit rests on Bruno mars. no one can sing dirty Diana like mj, and I doubt if anyone ever will. I remember when I was about 13 I went to go see an impersonation show here in Honolulu and Bruno played Michael. He stole the show. I walked away a fan of Bruno from that day on and 9 years later Im not suprised to see him making it big now.
