Try out Uni Pin fine line from Mitsubishi Pencil co.LTD they have really thin onces like 0.05mm and I use them for drawing and writing. Here the link where I buy these pens. on Amazon they are really pricey especially if you only want one pen to test it out. www.gerstaecker.de/UNI-BALL-Pin-Pen-technischer-Zeichenstift.html There are Packs out there and you can also buy them separate if you only need one. Saves a lot of money. :) They only ship to Germany but you can ask them to ship it to you per E-mail: info@gerstaecker.com
I think of it like this: pens are stationery. There's an e in pen. There's an e in stationery. Stationary means to stay put. A in stay, a in stationary. 😊
@ Bec Lane "I think of it like this: pens are stationery. There's an e in pen. There's an e in stationery. Stationary means to stay put. A in stay, a in stationary. 😊" PERFECT! I wish I'd thought of this. I only just got it straight in my head a few years ago, and that just by repeating it over and over. LOL!
Amanda in 2017: The Tombow Fudenosuke pens aren’t that good in for bullet journalling. They bleed through the pages SO easily so this is going to be a one time purchase Amanda in 2019/2020: *uses those pens in every single journal and has like 5 back ups*
I find the mildliners are more of a good study tool than a bullet journal tool. I use all three packs of the mildliners like C R A Z Y when rewriting/color coding my notes or making flashcards or study plans/maps and in my Erin Condren school planner. But I hardly ever use them in my bullet journal.
I remember during high school and college, my friends and I will go to this store where they sell all supplies, then we all get a out of there having almost 10 pens each of us bought! My god, pen shopping is addictive!
hey y’all ! Jesus died for us, was buried, & rose again on the third day! because he took the punishment we deserved we can have eternal life if we so choose! ❤️
Fineliners: I really like the Staedtler fineliners and the Micron pens (there are different sizes). Especially the Micron pens last me a long time! I'm a big fan of the Pentel Fude brush sign pens. They don't bleed through and are so easy to write with! I have them in different colors and the work great with the pages from the Leuchtturm :)
I have them and honestly just like those normal highlighters but duller :p i mean thats why they're called mildliners but i think other sets are better because of the colours
A helpful way to remember how to spell each word: station[e]ry = p[E]ns station[A]ry = c[A]rs Pens, pencils, markers etc. Cars are often stationary because they get parked a lot. LOOOOOOOOVE this video

hey you guys! Jesus died for us, was buried, & rose again on the third day! because he took the punishment we deserved we can have eternal life if we so choose! ❤️
THANK YOU for saying the Mildliners are overhyped/not worth it. I have the gray/blue pack and I was kinda disappointed. They're more pigmented than I thought (the pink and blue are SO dark, like too dark to be a highlighter) and the bullet tip dulls out so easily. The only one I use anymore is the gray!
AmandaRachLee yes. this brand is expensive and useless. it cost me $2 for one and the colour is like not regular. I mean I like highlighters to be bright and normal marker be a little pastel and a little dark but this is just too light or very dark
the black "monami" plus pen 3000 from Korea is the best and most affordable everyday writing/ art pen that I found in the market. They cost 1 buck per 6 or 7 pens, they don't worn at all, and there's no bleed through on my leuchtturm what so ever. They can be a little bit hard to find, but it is definitely worth it.
Loker Mathews FINALLY. I live in Korea and everyone in (America, Canada, etc.) talks about brands I don't know. I love monami and I will always stick with it.
I love the Tombow Fudenosuke brush pens but I prefer the hard tipped one (The one you show in the video is the soft one which might be why there is issues with it bleeding thru the page) I was looking at getting the zebra mildliners or more tombow brush pens, after watching this I think I'll stick with more tombow ones for now. Thanks for doing this video on you haul.
AmandaRachLee I have both the hard (navy coloured body) and soft (dark grey coloured body) Tombow Fudenosuke pens. There is also a third fude that is a dual brush with black on one end and grey on the other. This one is similar to the soft one. This one seems to sell out the quickest in my local art store. I prefer the hard one myself as it can write smaller in my journal - perfect for the days of the week on my daily and weekly spreads. I find that neither ever bleed though my page in my Leuchtturm 1917. Ever. I wonder if pen is faulty. I live in Ottawa and I picked up the Pentel Sign brush pen at Michaels. Make sure it says "brush" on it. I think you can also order it online from Wallack's, which is located here too. It's a nice brush pen but slightly larger than the Fudenosuke Soft pen so I find I have to write bigger otherwise it looks a mess. It's great if you are looking for something in between the size of the Tombow Fudenosuke and the dual brush markers.
AmandaRachLee yes I was going to suggest the tombow fudenosuke calligraphy pen, hard tip (blue body). I use that for everything! Love it! Just bought 5 for $9 in a pack on Amazon
Your planning videos inspired me to start bullet jouraling. I have been drawing and painting for years and have never considered bullet journaling, but I am so excited to start in the new year!
Omg, the same happened to me with the pentel pen. I also got the felt tip pen accidentally but it turned out to be my favorite felt tip pen in the end XD I'm so sorry to hear the fudenosuke brush pen bled through on your bujo. I use it quite often and it doesn't really bleed through...weird.
procrastinate_create omg lol same thing with me, i went to japan through a japanese study tour my school has, and i got what i thought was the pentel brush pen bc i couldn’t read japanese lol, i thought the pen just needed to be softened up so i like bent the nib a bit, and it wouldn’t budge lol. i use is as a header pen now
Omg I recomend this felt tip pen sooo much it is this staedtler triplus fineliner felt tip pen and it is soo good. It is not feathery, it bleeds through a bit, doesnt smudge for me, and no matter how hard I press it never gets flat. U van leave it uncapped for days until it starts to dry out. I really recommed that felt tip pen.
you are right about the description boxes. I never read the description box unless there is a cool link the presenter has mentioned during the video. maybe I should try eh?
This video came at the right time! I was struggling in whether getting more Tombows, the Mildliners or the crayola supertips. This video helped me out a lot! So thank you! ♥
Stationery is pens , paper, notebooks etc Stationary e.g. The car stayed stationary in the parking lot Now go and prove all your teachers wrong coz you is smart now
You can try Staedtler Mars Matic technical pen to replace the faber castell ones. I used to used those faber castle, found those staedtler and fall in love with them. They use super black tint and you can have them forever! Just buy the tint and wash them regularly with alcohol so they don't get messed up.
i guess its a difference of likeness or personality but i LOVE midliners, maybe its becouse i actually use it as a HIGHLIGHTER not a MARKER and the pastel set was my fave. i live in sg and mildliners are not rare, everyone uses them, all the bookshops have it, there are constant discounts and im talking 50%. my only problem is that they smudge A LOT but lightly going off them seems to work. 8/10 for me
I did love watching your stationery haul. Stationery with an e I’ll never forget now. Thank you. I love your guide on what to buy because I am on a restricted budget so when I save money I want to know how it will work in my bullet journal. Btw, I am a double amputee living in a nursing home and I use my bullet journal to keep me engaged in life and setting doable goals for myself. So I think that proves that everyone can benefit from using a bullet journal. It isn’t just for the career minded folks. Thank you so much for inspiring me.
At my local target the 50 pack of crayola supertips cost me 7 dollars and i defenitly bought them and I really love to use them in my journal and they do not bleed through my journal they are amazing definitely recommend them 😍😍😍
super helpful! my favourite bullet journal channel! i've been browsing this type of stuff on pinterest etc for months on end and am purchasing mine tonight. im really excited!! x
I just got my first pack of 50 Crayola Supertips and I am SO excited to use them all!! They have such pretty colors, and the variety of colors is awesome too!
I love your channel so much!!! Because of you, I’ve started my own bullet journal, and I’m not longer a band wagoner. Plus, the kids at school think it’s super cool, so that’s just a plus.
The Prismacolor fineliners are AMAZING! I just bought the assorted marker seven pack with a brush pen and a chisel tip. I was using the Pitt artist pens but these are SOO much better.
Hey Amanda! I love your videos~ I really like the Staedtler Marker Pen in 0.3mm! It comes in a pack of 4, and the ink and tips last you quite a while. It does bleed through my moleskin journal, but I love using it for writing and fine tip doodling in my sketch book!
yes, i totally agree about the zebra mildliners! i found them at michaels and i was so excited but then when i tried them out on the pen test page, i just didn't like the feel of the markers on the page, you know? i also didn't like how the artist's loft brush pens felt to write with - it's like there's a really thick sponge between you and the tip of the marker and you don't have any control over it. so far, the tombow dual brush markers are my favourite in terms of colour and the flexibility of the tip; they're easy to control and i really like the colours in the pastel palette pack. i didn't know that you could buy each colour separately though - i'll definitely look around for some more neutral, earth-y tones. thank you so much for this video amandarachlee!
The correct meanings of stationary/ery: Stationery- Pens, pencils, folder, rubbers etc etc... Stationary- Still, not moving How you can remember: pen Stationery car Stationary
Uni Pin Fineliners. I've had the same set for 5 years and only the 0.5mm one needs replacing. I'm an artist that uses fineliners a lot with markers, graphite and for everyday writing.
I just wanted to say that you should definitely try the micron pens. You could find them on amazon, in a pack. I am waiting for mine to come. They are literally the bomb, as what I have heard from my friends. I think I will like them, as I write, draw, paint, bullet journal and dabble a bit or a lot in calligraphy. Also, for paint supplies, that I think will go very well for the bullet journal design, is the koi water color. The brush comes with the set of the colors, however, if you want different sizes of the tip, you have to purchase them all on your own.
I love using Microns and Artline Fineliners that I have been using since Archi school, we didnt have Pitt Fineliners during that time and the Micron that was introduced to us by teachers in the first year really lasted us really long and the colour was really dark. Found out about the "Artline Drawing System" Fineliners during grad year, really loved how smooth the tip was and how constant the colour came out. :)) Havent tried the Pitt Fineliners yet, but these two are the best of the bunch we have here amongst the 5~6 brands that I've tried out
in singapore there are much wider varieties that match your preferred coloured schemes and almost all the students or friends that i know use midliner highlighters for any use
Thank you for your Haul. I've been going back and forth at DeSerres to find pens I like to start my bullet journal. Dollorama, if it's the shop you are talking about at the end is in Ontario and Quebec only.
I don't do bullet journaling but I do draw a lot and if you want good pens for writing, I recommend either copic multiliners or another multiliner (I can't remember) and jelly roll pens are good gel pens, they're super smooth :)
I use unipin fineline pens for my art and journaling. 0.1, 0.3 and 0.5 are the best for me! The tips tend to last a long time as long as you don't press too hard.
Almost all the bullet journal haul ive watched, a lot of yall need to get it off of amazon. I got mine from a local book/stationary shop nearby. I get to choose the colours that i want.
You should also apologize to the Germans for how you pronounce Leuchtturm. Haha not trying to offend, I just find it entertaining, but I get it: German is hard to pronounce. 😂😂💁🏼
I would recommend you micron liners or rowling liners (if I'm not mistaken). I've used the faber castells but I don't use them anymore when I found those other ones.
For fineliners I use the Artline Drawing System pens, and I've done it for quite some time now, and I also use a Leuchtturm1917 journal. The ink stays where it should, and it doesn't bleed trough either. Their sizes range from 0.05 to 0.6, and my at the time favorite size - 0.2 - I used the absolutely most, I didn't have to replace it before it ran out of ink which was half a year after I started using it. I really recommend them :) And sorry for my english, it's not my first language. Btw amazing content, ADORE your Bullet Journal style
Hello Amanda! New to your Chanel but i finally found "home". I schare your interest/love in pens and papers and stationery. Your videos are very helpful. Lot's of love and seeing forward to the next video. Karina in Sweden
I am so excited to fine you....I have such love of journals, and have so many but never follow threw...so I have a stack of them and really start and don't finish. I so now am inspired by you as I am so excited about supplies as you are. I have a question I need a journal for many parts of my life, home, business, the biggest is health. Should I do one journal or combine it together. And omg I just got the markers with the both tip ends. Love them. Omg I have to tell my daughter about your channel....since she was in school she would have me getting her supplies the first day and she did her list herself. She is now in her career as a social worker and the supply addict in her continues......thanks great ideas
I bought the mildliners and they came like in 3-4 days from Amazon. I really like mildliners and use them all the time in my bullet journal and in school for note taking
Oh wow, the super tips! I have the 100 pack. So cheap. I just started my first bujo and I haven't really gotten into decorating it much yet. Just some gold accents, and my normal cursive writing. I wonder if the super tips will bleed in my journal... Well, the darks ones do (I have an Insight-brand journal) Thanks for the tips!
Thanks for your super useful tips!! You are asking for more durable fineliners. Just try the STABILO point 88. 42 colors, pastel wallets, blue shadows, black & grey shadows... 0.4 mm very durable tip. You will love them!! :)
Ahhh thanks for talking about Muji! I had never heard of it but I'm not far from Toronto (only been around here for 2 years though). I will definitely be making the trip soon cause now I'm dying to see it
When you set up your monthly sections of your bullet journal, do you do all of your weekly spreads for the month at once? And what do you do when a week isnt all in one month?
P.S. i do have an art & bullet journal insta if you want to see my doodles and bujo spreads! follow me if you want @amandarachdoodles ❤️
Plz do some more projects with cheep supplies like Crayola! Love ya 💕

I agree with the mildliners!! They aren't as good as everyone says but the aesthetic is nice for pics!!
yes! i agree!
I love you both!!
Crystal Floura My mildliners came 3 days after they were ordered. I got normal shipping too :D
I like them for highliting my notes, but honestly I don’t really get why someone would use it for bullet journals

Kiri Celebkiriedhel I never knew stationery was a word
That's a good way to remember!
I do
The a in station𝗮ry is for anchor ⚓️
The e in station𝗲ry is for envelope ✉️
That’s how I remember it
@@poonana5615 or: stationery is pens and pens have a *e* and stationery has a *e* ; stationary is stay put and stay has a *a*
Hey Amanda! I love your videos~
I really like the Staedtler Marker Pen in 0.3mm! It comes in a pack of 4, and the ink and tips last you quite a while. It does bleed through my moleskin journal, but I love using it for writing and fine tip doodling in my sketch book!
you can find the mild liners at walmart, or at least mine ❤️
I ordered the tombow dual markers because they look so pretty. Especially the green marker you showed... amazing! 😍
me : *buys one tombow brush pen*
also me : *gets evicted the next day*
me again : eXcUsE mE
yes, i totally agree about the zebra mildliners! i found them at michaels and i was so excited but then when i tried them out on the pen test page, i just didn't like the feel of the markers on the page, you know? i also didn't like how the artist's loft brush pens felt to write with - it's like there's a really thick sponge between you and the tip of the marker and you don't have any control over it.
so far, the tombow dual brush markers are my favourite in terms of colour and the flexibility of the tip; they're easy to control and i really like the colours in the pastel palette pack. i didn't know that you could buy each colour separately though - i'll definitely look around for some more neutral, earth-y tones. thank you so much for this video amandarachlee!
SUPER TIP:
If you put the tip of the bright and crazy colors 1 sec in the water,it will turn more pastel looking!
omg i need to try this out!
Thank you for this. I have been sooo confused about which pens to get for my Leuchtturm journal!
The correct meanings of stationary/ery:
Stationery- Pens, pencils, folder, rubbers etc etc...
Stationary- Still, not moving
How you can remember:
pen
Stationery
car
Stationary
For your black fineliners, the Artline 200 Fine 0.1 - 0.4 are really good!
You have an effect on me haha! Im so into my bullet journal now. And stationEry haha that spelling rant!! 😂 I love your plan with mes
definitely going to have to see if i can find the sakura pigma brushes! thanks girl! 💖
I order all my stationery (including my mildliners) on Etsy! Also, they have amazing pencil pouches, and it’s great to support amazing creators
you seriously deserve a lot more subscribers
😩 thanks boo!
Uni Pin Fineliners. I've had the same set for 5 years and only the 0.5mm one needs replacing. I'm an artist that uses fineliners a lot with markers, graphite and for everyday writing.
I finally bought the 20 pack of crayons super tips!!!!
Love your channel it's like everything in 1 art ,hauls ,review ,plan with me.
Girl your my queen
aww i'm glad you like my videos! ❤️
Finally!! Where the notification squad at though??!!!!!!😘😍🌈
🙌🏼 you guys are mvp's
I just wanted to say that you should definitely try the micron pens. You could find them on amazon, in a pack. I am waiting for mine to come. They are literally the bomb, as what I have heard from my friends. I think I will like them, as I write, draw, paint, bullet journal and dabble a bit or a lot in calligraphy.
Also, for paint supplies, that I think will go very well for the bullet journal design, is the koi water color. The brush comes with the set of the colors, however, if you want different sizes of the tip, you have to purchase them all on your own.
Her video is drugs on me 😂 I can't stop watching it 😂💓 those crayola super tip fine markers is very cheap they only $6.96and I love it💋💯💯
I love using Microns and Artline Fineliners that I have been using since Archi school, we didnt have Pitt Fineliners during that time and the Micron that was introduced to us by teachers in the first year really lasted us really long and the colour was really dark. Found out about the "Artline Drawing System" Fineliners during grad year, really loved how smooth the tip was and how constant the colour came out. :)) Havent tried the Pitt Fineliners yet, but these two are the best of the bunch we have here amongst the 5~6 brands that I've tried out
Stationary is so soothing lol 😝
+BabyJuice i agree!
Stationery. I'm sorry.
For the Zebra mildliners they sell them at Target for like 16 bucks for a bunch of markers!!
You got a beautiful voice❤❤
Thanks Mary!
in singapore there are much wider varieties that match your preferred coloured schemes and almost all the students or friends that i know use midliner highlighters for any use
collab with connan grey pLeasEeeeeeee
I WISH i love him
Thank you for your Haul. I've been going back and forth at DeSerres to find pens I like to start my bullet journal.
Dollorama, if it's the shop you are talking about at the end is in Ontario and Quebec only.
Mandela effect with that spelling of station(a)ery
hahah exactly! i still stand by berenstein bears with an E! 😂
Idk what to put for my User name no
I don't do bullet journaling but I do draw a lot and if you want good pens for writing, I recommend either copic multiliners or another multiliner (I can't remember) and jelly roll pens are good gel pens, they're super smooth :)
~m i c r o n l i n e r s a r e p r e t t y g o o d~
I use unipin fineline pens for my art and journaling. 0.1, 0.3 and 0.5 are the best for me! The tips tend to last a long time as long as you don't press too hard.
anyone watching this in 2019?
I really recommend the muji gel ink ball pens!! I really love them,, they're really cheap and great for doodling / writing with
she sounds like gloom from youtube lmao
Almost all the bullet journal haul ive watched, a lot of yall need to get it off of amazon. I got mine from a local book/stationary shop nearby. I get to choose the colours that i want.
You should also apologize to the Germans for how you pronounce Leuchtturm. Haha not trying to offend, I just find it entertaining, but I get it: German is hard to pronounce. 😂😂💁🏼
Triplus Fineliners are great fineliners for writing and they come in colours too. Also i use uniball pens rollerball
I would recommend you micron liners or rowling liners (if I'm not mistaken). I've used the faber castells but I don't use them anymore when I found those other ones.
OMG yasss! You're Canadian! Have you visited Hanji on Queens? I'm SOOO in love with that store for stationery
no i haven't! now I wanna go! 😩
OMG! Watching this back, knowing that the Tombow is going to be a fav, hilarious to see that it gets such a bad wrap. So great!
Hi, i can recommend the Staedtler Pigment Liner, they come in a pack of 6 in different thickness and i use them all the time 😊❤️
i love the simplicity and the quality of this video. love the aesthetic of your videos! subscribed :)
Amanda!! where’d you get the clear container for your crayola super tips?
At Micheals, they have the mild liners on the shelf with the sharpies!
(You can pick out the ones you like because the ya re separate!!!!!)
my fav is the 553 its part of the pastel pack
For fineliners I use the Artline Drawing System pens, and I've done it for quite some time now, and I also use a Leuchtturm1917 journal. The ink stays where it should, and it doesn't bleed trough either. Their sizes range from 0.05 to 0.6, and my at the time favorite size - 0.2 - I used the absolutely most, I didn't have to replace it before it ran out of ink which was half a year after I started using it. I really recommend them :)
And sorry for my english, it's not my first language. Btw amazing content, ADORE your Bullet Journal style
i've heard alot about these, i'll have to check them out! thanks sofia! ❤️
Hello Amanda!

I ❤mildliners and I ordered mine from Hobonichi--I am obsessed with Hobo planners and I use the bullet journal system in them!!!
I will definitely be making the trip soon cause now I'm dying to see it
Omg Amanda, I love your stationary! It looks so gorgeous and you are such an inspiration! I am going to post my first Bullet Journal video monday
When you set up your monthly sections of your bullet journal, do you do all of your weekly spreads for the month at once? And what do you do when a week isnt all in one month?
