We all have a past. to me Sammy represents what it is to be a man.
I believe him, he’s without a doubt a man of his word, he’s without a doubt driven, passionate, and strong as Bull😎 a man’s man.
Dedicated to family, honestly one of the most dedicated dudes I’ve ever seen when it comes to family, wether it’s family or, the family.
mentally he’s unbelievably tough, 22 years in prison with 6-7 of those in the hole, and he comes out practically unfazed, he wouldn’t let the system break him. He’s never used drugs. He’s friendly and talkative, clearly he’s confident, and above all, after living the life he led, he managed to turn it around.
Then quits smoking after like 60 years…..
He’s a prime example of what it is to be a good man, he stands by his word and actions like an unmovable statue. To me that’s honorable and admirable.
Is even say he’s extremely loyal. for real✌️

My almost 79 dad just passed on Tuesday. he grew up on 59th street, Brooklyn. He said he went to school with Butchie. He said Butchie would do anything for money as a kid, lol. He enjoyed all your stories and itself brought him back in time.

Thanks for this story Sammy. I grew up a block away from Doc's. I was a few years younger than Butchie, Monk, Donnie Black, Nickie Shboom, all those guys,, and of course Trippy was the bar tender.

I kinda feel bad that he did another 18 yrs in jail but nobody forced him to get involved with selling ecstasy. He had a second chance, businesses, a nice home, cars and blew it over greed. Years ago he said he didn't like the drug business, it's dangerous, bad people, backstabbing, etc... but his greed won out.

4th of july on staten island in the 80s was like that everywhere. I grew up near that way in Graniteville on the other side of the highway. I remember my father hosing down the roof so our house wouldnt catch fire. Great story Sammy.
