Has anyone else started calling it dry soil after watching these videos? I was vacuuming the other day after washing my filter and I was like "Wow look at all that dry soil". I've literally never called it that before lol
If you have time. I think vacuum a room with the shark. Then the work horse to see what happens. Then redo with the shark to see what still might come up.
I feel like the shark vacuum is a scam. Like they made a vacuum that picks up some of the dry soil each time. I vacuumed our dining room filled the canister. Then vacuumed it again and the canister was half full...Like why am getting more and more dry soil? I just vacuumed! haha
I watched another company do a cleaning, and they didn't even vacuum before they used the CRB. You could see debris on the carpet while they were doing the cleaning. It was ridiculous. Folks need to watch you clean before they hire anybody, and if their company doesn't match up, they need to look elsewhere. I have no carpet, and live as far away from you as you can get in the US, but I wish you could come to Seattle and clean my linoleum.
Those light colored carpets came up great ... it just shows the customer did take care of them, you just can't win an 8 year battle completely, but the fact they cleaned up so well means they were looked after.
The Workhorse started out in the 80s as the Amway CMS-1000, it was later revised, they changed the tool selector thing and added the height adjustment, and called it the ClearTrak. In the last few years they changed the name to Workhorse. You can still see the Amway logo on top of the cyclone housing. That oval globe like logo on that circular piece of plastic where the handle meets the upper body.
What really cracks me up, the brochure for the original CMS-1000 (original version of this machine) actually discusses dry soil and wet soil in the brochure when promoting Amways relabeled Capture dry clean powder!
I think the work horse picks up so much dirt is because it don’t have a ton of cyclones like other vacuums. One cyclone should be enough. I think one cyclone increases the suction.
Is it only me that has to have these patterns in the carpet everytime i hoover, i love vacuum lines. Im in the Uk and now say dry soil.. my husband looks at me like im nuts
The workhorse is very similar to the windsor versamatic vacs. Very powerful and lifelasting too I've had mine for 17 years and still runs like new....too bad I still pend money on the bags.....but if I ever need a new one this one is on top of the list
You should get a little stand for your phone and set it up when you’re performing. Maybe a stand on your vacuum, and one on your extraction handle. Soooo much more satisfying lol.
You could vac that room 5 times ...consecutively and each time you would get debris out....just finer and finer silt.... slow vac a space and see what keep coming out.....its never ending
There ok in a pinch, but in order to get deep down dirt and dandruff out of the carpet not just on top , which you can’t see with your naked eyes you need a very heavy industrial vacuum like the Kirby ... if you don’t believe me do a test ... take a living room carpet and vacuum with the Workhorse then empty the Canister .. then vacuum again with the Workhorse to make sure you got all the dirt , hair and dandruff out ... now vacuum with the Kirby remember to move the vacuum slowly across the carpet to get All of the dirt the Workhorse left behind and remember to start with a clean new Kirby vacuum bag , then Rip that bag open and see what you left behind... you won’t believe your eyes... Trust Me !!!
When the workhorses dies, check out Miele or Riccar. Bagless vacuums are bad for the home, the dust goes airborne and once you dump it into the rubbish, the dirt you picked up just goes back into the air. I have a Miele S7 and I love it, 3 layer cloth bags for $20 a year. Bagless vacuum filters ate supposed to be replaced every 3 months, so a bagged is cheaper in the long run.
love the videos, i like that you added photos in as well really shows how well it came out. should add photos into all the videos maybe at the end. cheers
OOH! I'm not a big fan of bagless vacs (actually thanks to Shark, I've had horrible luck with them over the years). I might get my hands on one of these. Thanks! And cool vid as always!
How quickly do the filters clog on these vacuums and what’s the suction on the hose end like. When Dyson launched the DC01 here in the uk people complained that hose suction was poor compared to a bagged clean air upright and the pre motor filter used to clog quite quickly. No change with Dyson really ( I despise Dyson )
I know you say you don't like bag vacuums. However, you should give the Kirby a try. It has a bell head and actually sucks the carpet up and lifts dirt from the bottom layers. They are pricey, but come with a lifetime warranty. If you need a new one, you give them the old one and they will upgrade a new one for free. They are the best vacuum on the market.
Awesome vacuum I still prefer a direct air vacuum for true deep cleaning! I’d never trade my royal metal for anything when it comes to deep cleaning. But for a bagless vac I’m impressed
I was looking at getting the shark rotator based on the fact that you used it all the time, but now that you switched, its thrown me for a loop and now i don't know which is the best to get for residential carpets
The Sharks perform great, however they've got a short life span and lack of parts. In comparison there are people that have had the predecessor to the Workhorse called the ClearTrak for 30 years. Depends on if you want to spend less money on the Shark and plan on replacing it, or spend more on the Workhorse and have it forever with some simple upkeep. The Workhorse is also made in the US compared to the Shark being made in China.
I have the same shark he used and it really does work well for in home use. You just have to take care of it and it can last for a good handful of years before you would have to replace it. Makes sense that he had to buy new ones every year with how much he uses them.
There are many reviews out there I have the true pet professional, it seems to get more loose soil than my 30 year old professional Oreck ruclips.net/video/sIW126pE1kI/видео.html
You came to the right place many of the people on this channel have OCD tendencies which is a good place to see real information and test cause most people do not have $400 to spend on a vacuum cleaner, I hope this helps!
Bro older vaccums work the best. My grandmas house was built in the 60s and it had Central vacuum unit and to this day it's still would work better than any shark or whatever vacuum out there
Looks like she never vacuum !! I think KIRBY is the BEST CLEANING MACHINE out there ! You can not be in business over 100 years like KIRBY and not be the BEST !! just saying ......
I heard that Kirby makes the longest-lasting best-cleaning vacuums. For all I know, it was a bunch of shills, but it seems unlikely. I’d be curious to know if it’s true.
I have one, and a few other vacuums too. They are very good indeed. The heavy agitation and very high airflow make a good deep cleaner. It lifts the carpet off of the floor and pulls air through the back of it. The current series (starting in 1990) have a transmission built in because otherwise they are nearly impossible to push. They are a bit heavy, but the "problem" is that they suck down onto the carpet so strongly. With the transmission, they are super easy to push. If you want a louder, less refined, but cheaper Kirby, look at the Royal Metal Upright (or look for a used Kirby).
He stated that he used a F&G style Sanitaire but didn't like it because of the bag dumping process. I agree with you. All I use is Sanitaire, SC899 and SC886. My company workhorses

@@austinmatthews606 Because it's still dirty? Where do you think it could go if you filled the canister up? How is it a scam if it's doing it's job?

Would be cool to mount a gopro facing the cannister and do a time lapse!

I love the 80's/early 90's look the Wprkhorse has. It's pretty retro.
hey Courtney, great work and a great personality.

Groom lines in carpets is what makes it look beautiful and seems cleaner
Another amazing job! Those carpets came out fantastic!!
You are hot, like fire. 😘
Mad Max thank you 😊
@@hotlikefiya85 you're welcome.
I was so hoping you’d dump the dry soil out. Lol Loved the video, you did an amazing job!
Your videos make me sleepy. Hello from England
I think you could leave the job after vacuuming and the clients would be satisfied 😂
Sharks are great! Definitely not meant for commercial purposes though. This vacuum seems to be great!
Holy Toledo Batman..... *THAT'S IMPRESSIVE ALRIGHT*
Great Job as always!

Great job! You should post your videos on the Facebook page Laundry Love & Cleaning Science! You would make lots of folks extremely happy 👏👏
You should empty your canister before it fills almost all the way up, you’re making the vacuum do more work than it needs to blocking the filters.
I tried telling him before, there is a max fill line for a reason and I wonder if he cleaned out the foam filters.
Haha yeah he will be replacing this one within a year too.
This is why we are watching a person vacuum, we are specific kind of viewers
It dosent matter if its at the fill line and it dosent make it do more work it still will work if its full
No way! Wow 😮
Anyone else disappointed not to see that last bit disappear?
Honestly, the vacuuming just proves how gross carpets can be! 🤪
Please do a video on vacuuming with the workhorse and then vacuuming with your shark.
Would it be possible to attach a GoPro camera onto the vacuum so you can get clips of the cannister filling up?

Great video. I often wonder what kind of vacuum people use that it leaves so much deep down dirt behind. Keep up the great work!
Probably a Dyson
Probably a bissel or hoover
I NEED one of these! I'd love to add it to my collection 😍😍

How many vacuums do you think you have sold... hell I want to buy one
It’s like you painted the carpet a lighter shade!
I agree better it's a work horse than a prancing stallion that looks pretty but can't actually pull "the cart"
Do you use the same vacuum to do the edges?
Sharks ate top heavy and the beater bar set up is what woyld make me quit using it.
do half a room with the shark and the other half with the workhorse. :)
Get a go pro, in between talks do a speed run. Easy in editor too. Wear the go pros fisherman use on their channel. Like lunkers
Do they still make them anymore?

The vacuum was named diffrently like amway clear track work horse fantom
Does this vaccum do hard floors too?
Look up man vs dirty carpet episode 17. That carpet destroyed the poor Shark lol ;)

Do you have a physical location or just work out your van?
How do you keep this vacuum from smelling like a dog when you have vacuumed up a house that has dogs?
Syth change your hepa filter. Or clean it.

It's not a Hoover. It's a Workhorse.
It hoovers things, so it’s a bloody hoover.
They are available online.
is that dirt? or just ripping out the whole carpet lol
That’s so much dry soil... maybe the customer used carpet powder on her rugs... by watching your videos I learned that was a big no-no
Uhm, my shark came with lifetime warrenty.
Kewlzter TC you have to pay for the shipping

He should be using a dirty fan cleaner like a Kirby, Royal etc. These bagless plastic vacuums are not going to get the dirt out.
i guess the water you get out wont be as dirty now
What about a Kirby
Gordon3 Schmitz there the best on the market
Bissell works great too as a canister vac. Only $60 at Walmart.
I love my Shark , & I'll never part with it. Shark's the best IMO.
A bagged vacuum will give you better cleaning and filtering performance. A sanitaire, Kirby or Royal would be best. Bagless vacuums are junk.
