- A short video showing how to weld up holes or gaps in thin steel without blowing holes in it using a piece of copper to suck out the heat. Top tip for today.

Why not just make a new panel?
We never make new panels if an old one can be saved. It's in our DNA. Have a look at some of our Bluebird Progress videos and you'll see just how crackers we are in that regard. Besides, it's interesting and challenging. Making new is boring.
There comes a time a exact replica to the exact measurements is a whole lot better than a cobbled original

@@chiefrocka8604 Cobbled - how dare you? 😁
Whas this a rally car or rallycross car? Who used it back in the day?
It was a rallycross car. Driven by Mark Rennison. This is the original chassis as delivered by Ford as well as a large quantity of original parts bought from the team as the car was lightened / developed and has been in storage for years. The car lived on as a bitzer in a new chassis but this is chassis no 068 that rolled out of the factory all those years ago.
@@TheBluebirdProject ok thanks for getting back to me, that's some history for that chassis. Very cool.
Will it go back to a road car or rallycross tribute? Sorry if I'm being too nosey
