My Review of The Exorcism

I recently saw The Exorcism, directed by Joshua John MIller and starring Russell Crowe, Ryan Simkins, Chloe Bailey, David Hyde Pierce, Adam Goldberg, and Sam Worthington.
Despite what Rotten Tomatoes would have you believe, I thought it was pretty good.

It's a strong film. Hate that it didn't sit well with the general population. Hopefully it will find new life streaming (like The Pope's Exorcist did).

I had to go watch it alone, with the bad reviews couldn't get my wife in to see it. But it was great! The role reversal and the careful avoidance of sexualizing the daughter was appreciated, and it played with honored tropes while at the same time finding its own way forward. I don't get what all the initial bad reviews were from at all...
