- Wall Drills for the Beginner and Progressions to Freestanding for the advanced. Join me on my Tuck Handstand Training Session where I use mobility exercises for the Thoracic, Shoulders and Hips to warm up the position before using static holds on the wall before progressing to transitions on and off the wall.
This position is used in Handbalancing, Yoga and Calisthenics.

Is the tuck press to handstand just a way to train for the pike press, or is it an end in itself?
Yes and no. They are very similar and can be trained together but I know people that can do one but not the other. The tuck press is great for lowering the hip a little more for conditioning towards Stalder and Planche press
