No you sud not think about hear until your in your 30’s need to be lifting naturally till you feel like your body is declining even Dow your training hard as you have ever done. That’s when gear is an option. Unless your trying to make it as a pro
As a 40 yr old who made this mistake and had all the wrong people around me helping me to do it I agree. No need to start so early if ever. Professionals need it. I don't like it but I get it. There's no reason for the average person to use it. 90% of what you gain can be achieved naturally with time and dedication
And really no one should do it if they don’t compete. You are harming your body for your hobby, for me that is not something i would do. In competition there is no way around, but steroids only worsen your living condition if you do it for hobby. Pros: none Cons: Your body dismorphia doesn’t stop, it arguably gets worse. Hopping on gear at any point is lunacy lol
@@boricbakingsoda9516exactly. Just work out consistently and eat properly.
@@boricbakingsoda9516 lol you’re not wrong
Who cares lol naturals complain and cry about gear users all day online but you never, ever, ever see someone on gear talking about natural lifters 😂 just look at these comments. Who fucking cares what a grown ass man chooses to do with his body.
Spoken like a true 21 yr old
My jaw dropped when he said 21
Man, social media has caused so much brain rot. So many small ass kids hopping om gear after barely training. You should have at least 5 years of solid lifting before you hit gear. Gear is to bring you past your natural limits. This dude still hasn't even reached his natural limit. I
💯. I swear they don't even like lifting. I made huge progress naturally at 30yrs old! without even thinking about aesthetics. I just loved lifting.....and I can eat. Great eater haha.
Pros: none
Cons:
Your body dismorphia doesn’t stop, it arguably gets worse.
Your balls shrink
Your skin goes bad
Your hair can fall out (i think)
You risk of heart failure and all that fun stuff rises
Your emotions are different and more unhinged
Only broad list, effects vary heavily by what exactly you take.
So true. Everybody wants to be a muscle head in 6 months. At 21 he for sure don't need roids.
I feel bad for the dude. Taking it to look bigger but just looks like a normal gym guy.
He's only been on them for 12 wks and could be an ectomorph which is real hard gain muscle
@@LiftingStressthats pseudo science
@@damiaankortenhorst4497 no that's not pseudo science. Some genetic are more prone to muscle tranning some are not example Chris bumstead was muscular before he went to the gym. Body type is not exactly is not accurate since most of as have mixture body type for me I'm in between ectomorph and mesomorph. Another example is average back American can gain for muscle than a average Asian in 1 year. This is scientifically proven
@@rd3munna812Of course genetics play a factor in how easily you can put on muscle but the most likely factor is that he had a low appetite and could not eat enough food. The gear most likely increased his appetite plus the added “benefits” of extra testosterone.
@@LiftingStressThere's no such things as ectomorph, endomorph.. It's absolute BS
The sad thing is that 70 is not THAT old if you take care of your body right. You can still live with great mobility, strength and fulfillment. My husband’s parents are close to 70 and look like they are in their 50s still. You wouldn’t think twice about it.
I’m 46 and grateful to have both of my parents still and worry about a world without them…then think about when I’ll be their age and what will I do when my sisters start leaving the earth…..I want 90’s for all of us. 70 is not good enough.
Stay off social media all of sudden you realize how blessed you are 🙌 God family health wealth
best thing i ever did was delete everything (except youtube) at the start of the pandemic
Amen, poor guy. I knew guys who were all about lifting cause of Instagram and Tiktok. But they weren’t really very strong and were still thinking of hopping on gear.
“70’s good enough, I’m done with it” coming from a 21 year kid is crazy..

@@w0lm7b97 i mean hes kinda right tho, after 75ish living just looks painful, obviously different for everyone but quality of life diminishes a ton (although i am a dumb 17 year old so feel free to flame me lmao)
@@Blob2099 you aren’t dumb, you’re just 17. Instead of looking ahead and saying what if I’m not happy, so shorten your life prematurely, just plan to take your own life if you ever feel the need at that old age. You never will, for older people just smelling the air, appreciating all they’ve done and stand for, supporting their kids, doing things they enjoy could be as simple as looking at plants. The issue is you and our generation has been over stimulated and your mind has been exposed to high volume turnovers of new information, so to you a flower couldn’t be interesting, but to the older generations a flower has peddles, pollen, a stem with roots, a need for water and light, and just admiring life is enough to fulfill their own.

Looks natural. Is on steroids. Only been lifting for a year. I’m natural. People accuse me of steroids all the time. I’ve been lifting for 17 years. See the problem here?
I did a blood draw on a heavy lifter who was on steroids. He was in the emergency department with crushing chest pain. You could see a layer of fat separate from the plasma, no joke! we’ve never seen that before the centrifuge. He ended up surviving, he had an MI (myocardial infarction). After his MI though he ended up a cardiac cripple. extremely low, ejection fraction, needing oxygen just to walk around his apartment. He was 35. They put him on the transplant list, but I have no idea whether or not he got a new heart. Being an emergency nurse you don’t necessarily get the follow up on patients.

Its so sad that someone takes is only for the “aesthetics” and looks, meaning for other people. If you really wanna take them just do it for yourself and competition, but not to please others trying to be enough. Huge psychology behind it.
What young people don't understand about longevity is that they see it from a selfish perspective but when you reach the 70s you want to live as long as you can but only to experience your children and grandchildren and see them grow
Well they believe that they'll reach that old age gracefully, these people will be suffering from joints, organ failures, etc.

Seriously! At 19/20 I started focusing on legs. Heavy (for me) squats, leg press, leg extensions, leg curls. I packed on 25lbs in a matter of months. I had a guy ask me if I was on steroids. I’m convinced that the heavy squats stimulated my entire body to grow, that along with being at the perfect age. I started lifting around 13. Graduated high school at 142lbs. I was about 150lbs at the time and shot up to 175lbs. People don’t think it’s possible but it is.

Do not take shortcuts in life just because it seems easier. That is not the point. The point is to build that mentality that you have to work hard and be consistent and enjoy the process . Learn that nothing good comes easy and fast . Don’t do what this person did . Don’t rush the process . It takes a long time for a reason.

This guy is going to have a hard life after 21, I wish him all the best and luck because that was a risky decision he made

Now I am just slim fit person and ask myself was all of thr build up worth it. Would have saved so much time and money if i stayed slim fit.
