In April of 2014 I experienced my first demonic possession. I was awake for a 3 straight days in a row making erratic decisions and doing stuff I wouldn't normally do. I walked down the street and almost got hit by a car after my dog Snicker got lose. I was severely dehydrated and hadn't eaten much in those 3 days. Walking down the street thirsty I wanted to get me a drink at the town's carryout. I didn't make it there. a big Mac truck carrying coal came straight my way and I walked straight in front of it. I went through the truck. Jesus saved my life for the second time in my earthly existence. As I continued walking down the road a neighbor in a small truck was pulling in his driveway. I went up to his parked truck and wanted to steal it to assassinate a person. Jesus Christ (the one true living God) immediately started preaching to the man through me. The man that tried to kill me was simply coming home from somewhere and was at the wrong place at the wrong time. and he did not listen to me as he thought I was out of my mind. The man hit me in the head 3 times with a short club. My skull was fractured but God saved my life that night. I went to the hospital, and the next morning I was admitted to the Pysch ward.

Being 6 ft 1 in and 130lbs, I tried a bulk last year but was unable to even reach 2,000 calories daily due to my financial limitations. Some of my forms were terrible; I ate a lot but never gained any fat. However, I learned so much down the way and ended up reaching 140lbs with a good amount of lean muscle mass, and am pretty comfortable with how I look. I continue to work out towards a second year, with a much more balanced nutrition. Will, you've been an inspiration for me.

You can imagine my shock when I came across a video were Ollie had passed on, WOW, completely shocked; up until then I had been watching older videos. But I digress, watching this video (as a subscribed member) I see Will's excitement with his change in diet and gym time. I myself am still using his old routine of saving calories until end of the day, for my I am a OMAD eater, and a two time a day gym person; cardio & weights in the morning, followed by an afternoon cardio session, down to under 200 lbs., from starting at 285 lbs. Have been intermittent fasting, working out 5-6 days a week and two protein shakes a Day (morning & before bed). I enjoy watching your thoughts and insights and have implemented many of your thoughts. This video has reinforced much of what I do from a lifting standpoint and has given me some additional guides nutritionally. As you stated, I have not "killed myself" from a dietary standpoint -- to the point that I become discouraged. Moderation in all things -- but hard work. Glad you've gotten to where you are, Will. I remember watching some of your earlier videos and thinking that you were needlessly obsessing about fat and low-calorie food items. For people who are losing weight, then it is not doubt that being meticulous and counting calories is an incredibly effective technique. However, for maintaining or gaining muscle, you really don't have to be that strict about it (unless you struggle to get enough calories). As long as you eat whole foods, make sure you get enough protein, and don't go overboard on the carbs it's hard to go seriously wrong.

Hey folks, just wanted to say while the content creators are inspiring what really inspires me is the commenters.
The youtube workout community has been a huge confidence boost for me personally and now I'm binging all these videos by Will especially since I find him entertaining.
So hopefully my story will inspire somebody else to get started but I was feeling miserable and depressed and figured a change in habits was what was needed so I just typed in where to start working out in youtube and fell into this amazing community, brought some 15s and 20s to work and started doing this, got my form down and seeing slow and stead progress. I do manual labor so I'd be lying if I said it was easy to keep up with... but I'd also be lying if I said reading these stories didn't help. So my brothers and sisters in huge arms, keep it going, we may not have met but I believe in you. Also a special thank you to Will for being up front and honest, my favorite video was the one where he tried to copy David Goggins workout for a day and seeing how exhausted Will (who is where my goal is set at now) was really puts into perspective how long the road is.
    Thanks folks! Keep gaining gains!

Protein powders are always sweet, it would be interesting if they made savoury ones like “gravy” or “Cesar dressing” to use on top of meals to boost the protein content. I know it would be gross just having with water or milk, but that’s why you would also have those flavours on hand

🩼I had to stop doing dumbbell overhead press because I learned after dislocating a shoulder with 60lbs in each hand that I have shallow shoulder sockets that couldn’t support the weight with my elbows out to the side like that.
🏋️‍♂️Switched to barbell only for OHP so that my elbows stay in a fixed position and keep those shoulders where they’re supposed to be (in the sockets! 😂).
