Dear Jenny,
You've been a life saver to me. I'm from Brazil and teach in a language school for kids aged from 3-17. This afternoon I sang with my 4-year-old group the song "The Wheels on the Bus" and I taught them the movements I learned from your video "The Wheels on the Bus (Song for Elementary School)" and it was a great success. All my students were really engaged to the song. Thanks a million and please keep up the good work!!!!

Jenny I discovered your channel very recently and I'm so happy I did! I live in Israel although I'm originally from the United States from two immigrant parents (I feel like I started teaching English at a very young age ;) ). You have phenomenal ideas that are both practical and extremely engaging! Thank you for all that you do, I personally can say that I was stuck and you have given me so much! Where do you live?
Nice to meet you! I am so happy to hear these words! I hope you will find the other videos on my channel useful too 🙏🙏🙏 I have never been to Israel. Is it hot there now? I think, it's always hot there, isn't? I live in Russia. It has been snowing for weeks!
@@JennyWhite555 I've been watching a lot of your videos, really creative ideas!
Yes generally it's pretty warm out, definitely lots of sunshine 🌅. It's been lately about 20 degrees here, can't complain. I miss the snow, I'm originally from Boston.
Please continue to create your content, and I'd love to chat with you about the classroom (like how much of you use Russian vs English in the Elementary level). Thank you!
@@rachelpalikaras6904 In the elementary level I try to use no Russian at all. I teach vocabulary using realia or flashcards and I introduce them to my favourite online dictionary wooodhunt that gives a lot of examples in different context together with pronunciation audio samples . It helps them a lot. As for grammar structures, we watch animated videos for young learners that help them grasp the content.
With pre-intermediate students grammar structures are getting more complex and vocabulary is not only just actions and objects but also ideas and concepts. That is why I sometimes have to switch into Russian to prevent misuse of some words and misunderstanding of grammar structures.
But we get back to only English lessons when they reach intermediate level.
Thank you for your questions and your interest to what I offer on this channel 😍. It's a great pleasure for me to discuss these issues with you 😊😇🙏💛
@@JennyWhite555 thank you for your quick response! Here we begin teaching vocabulary and at the same time teach letters and phonics. Do you have any content about teaching letters and phonics? 🥰
@@rachelpalikaras6904 No, I have zero experience in teaching phonics. My Chinese assistants were responsible for teaching it. But I know that they offer really great materials for teaching phonics at twinkl.com.

You're amazing. I have learned accent is a countable noun from two American RUclips teachers, they've corrected the Russia-born famous RUclips for this point. Is it I 've got an accent or I've got accent? Are both ok? Thanks. 谢谢。
Longman dictionary says it's a countable noun
ac‧cent1 /ˈæksənt $ ˈæksent/ ●●○ noun [countable]
1 the way someone pronounces the words of a language, showing which country or which part of a country they come from → dialect He had a strong Irish accent.
2 → the accent is on something
3 the part of a word that you should emphasize when you say it. In the word ‘dinner’ the accent is on the first syllable.
4 a written mark used above or below particular letters in some languages to show how to pronounce that letter

VERBS have an accent
The man had a Spanish accent.

After 9 years in London, Ben had lost his French accent.

When Mum’s on the phone, she puts on a funny accent.

@@JennyWhite555 Ok, thanks a lot.
What do you think of this as a title of dissert1tion the effect of gamification on EFL or ESL learners vocabulary ....thank you very much please share your opinions
That sounds like an interesting idea! However, gamification influences not only vocabulary range, but also grammar skills, motivation, self-confidence and social skills. In fact, it transforms the very concept of education from mug-and-jug to student centered.
@@JennyWhite555 yeah, but i am going only to work on one side like you said either motivation or vocabulary with middle school students 2 grade .could you propose any game ,please?thank you for your help ...really appreciate
@@nourkoko596 I wrote a book for middle school children "ESL Games for School". There are 11 games for elementary level and 11 games for intermediate students. Check out this link
