That has to be the best photo etch control panel I have ever seen, beautiful work. As for the competition you should pose a technical question about the B24 and then pick a winner from the right answers...….random pick generator :)
EDITED FOR ERROR Nigel, over the past couple years (just short of that, actually), I have come to appreciate you not merely for your expertise with model kits, but for your genially neighbourly manner. I hope you and yours are feeling well. I am rather late to the party for your seeking our suggestions as to the best way to give away a cockpit detailing set for the Hobby Boss 1:32-scale kits of the Consolidated B-24 Liberator USAAF Heavy Bomber. Mine would be to determine a means discreetly to determine if someone subsists upon a low, fixed income as a consequence of physical disabilities, advancing age, injury, or the like. Perhaps in a future such occasion, then.
This is one kit I always thought of getting but it’s a bugger of a kit too but BNA had a 50% discount and I got it the D version for $120AUD bargain and I got the last airscale instrument panel as well so one happy chap here Nige
Just about to ask how the Lancaster is getting along? I’m missing those excellent videos. Also just brought the 1/32 Hobbyboss Liberator, and yes the cockpit etch looks to be a must.
Excellent review, Nigel.....wish I had room for one of these monsters! Good of Peter to fit the etch for you....but how will you now paint that panel without getting paint on the instruments?
Drop dead gorgeous.Going to have to hold myself back from that metal 88mm kit, after seeing that steel etch fret. How about a limerick competition using 'liberator' as the rhyme?
Hi Nigel will you be doing any more vids on the hobby boss B24, ive yet to build this kit my self which i cant wait but whats putting me off is the frosted front turret. Do you happen to know if there will be any after market turrets coming out soon, i know on ebay in the states there is a guy selling some but the shipping is a joke lol i have the HK b17-F and that build was amazing, big fan all the very best regards JOSH
Good call Robert. I'll see what I can do on the auction tomorrow. I'm sure Paul will be able to squeeze it in somehow, then I'll send it direct to the winner.
This video needs an extra thumbs up for the outstanding quality of the returned panel.

Sorry John, I sold the Lanc and will probably sell the B-24 too.

I won't use the parts Peter has sent back, I'll use a new set. Those parts were used by Peter for his test sample and photo shoot.
Organise a competition. What sort of competition is entirely up to you and prize is the photoetch set.
Well. Hopefully this panel can be shipped to canada. Im going right now to find out.
Update. Yes it can. At about $40 cad. Mine is on its way
