gotta agree... the ending where everyone "survives" feels like a horrible fate.
Best ending probably is the one where Chris enters the screen, because then she can prevent it from happening in a different time

@@jamespaul6315 it involves blight, and it’d a lot of work and hiding since the entity is weak to blights orange goop, it’s also the key to escaping as confirmed by vigo

So the best ending for everyone is dying and for chris to time travel back through the screen, so none of em get condemned for an eternity and one of em stays free
Sam dies the same way Augustine did, with the entity claws. So he’s probably trapped in the game too even though he died
Some of yall are missing the point of this killer, Augustine created the champion as the “the perfect killer” so that the entity will notice it and take it to its realm to partake in the trials
If Frank Stone is the champion does that mean he is the most loyal to the entity?

she could actually stay in the present also. she's a bit of a downer if you have all survivors meet at the camp at the end of the game.
I would love them to add those lift gates at 5:00 as a new mechanic to DBD. Make them hard chase blockers for killers. The survivor has to mash (or skillcheck) to open it quickly and crawl to the other side, basically putting a wall between them and the killer, and killer would have to hold to interact with it, lifting it fully for a short period of time. Give it the same mechanics as vaulting, that if a victim is injured they can be interrupted while crawling through or grabbed any time if they're in the middle of the minigame; unlike vaults, a killer wouldn't be able to swing to hurt you as you're going through it though.
i've never played DbD but this has got me interested in the lore aspects.

I went from pace for the everyone lives ending to only Linda living in chapter 14. I wasn't happy when I learnt that some people are always gonna die and that some items that we were told were good weren't and forgotten items got a character killed.
I dont get why they make stan die everytime, and does the main 4 of the 80s living not even matter anyway? because they all die later on offscreen.
And does bonnie live in that ending
No everyone lives acccept for Bonnie
Stan was built to die, he's annoying and was a 5th character so the roster would've been bloated if he lived. + the 80s timeline isn't connected to the 2024 timeline so they don't always die in the future
I just feel like if someone gets devoured by a chest sized maw of teeth, there should be more blood? Behavior underutilizing that M rating
There already is more gore in this game than in DBD itself so to be honest its good enough for me
It wasn't really devouring it's more like swallowing alive without chewing or breaking down a victim ( aside from maybe some bones but thats really it )

We knew about the break though. TDPA games are eight, split into 2 seasons of 4 games each. We got the first 4, then the break (TCOFS) and next year we are getting the 2nd seasons with a game per year.

They 100% establish in this game that there in a multiverse.
From what I understand, it’s Augustine from different timelines or even possibly realms, which obviously she knows what she is doing, so probably found a way to communicate to different versions of herself so she can remain free and continue to try and please the Entity/give it new souls and people to add to the trials. This is pure speculation and just what I think
It's either Augustine had a fail safe in the event of her death, by having her future self or alternate reality self bring her back, or the entity does this so it can repeat the process for other worlds.

Is there any reason you had like no control over the characters dying?
From what I've played so far there are two characters that definitely die no matter what you do - Stan & Bonnie ( these are the two characters in the game where you don't get to control at any point in the story ). The rest you can either have live or kill. Young Linda is the trickiest to do but its possible.

The game shoulda been about being in the void and surviving the killers like an actual dbd game not this random frank stone snooze fest. It’s kinda how they sold the game making out it was gonna be proper dbd lol. Coulda been so much better and cool than it was. Even do a game on each killer… would be sick, learn more bout the doctor killer and then having to survive him in the void.
They never once made it seem like it'll be DBD. They literally said right up that it was set outside the realm. That would just make it a boring game just for references. This is literally specifically for the lore and worldbuilding of DBD. Having that be the game would serve 0 purpose to the world of DBD.
Oh and also to add on, that makes no sense about facing each killer in the void. The void is a literal nightmare realm where survivors with no more hope are discarded to waste away for all eternity.
