I'm not sure why the time travel element was necessary to be honest. It made it kind of confusing and unnecessary imo. Couldn't they just make the story 30 years in the future with the original characters?
Unfortunately, or fortunately it wasn't actually a time travel element. From the actual world of DBD its a multiple universe hopping thing. Its why you can die as linda in 1980 and still have old linda alive in 2024. It's important to the lore of DBD but it's handled weirdly that it makes it look like time travel which is not good for the game.
The single biggest failure of the game is the Dead By Daylight tie-in. Now, the game wouldn't exist without it, so there's that, but try to imagine Supermassive taking all the ingredients of this recipe without having to shoehorn in a commercial for the dumb game. The DBD tie-in forced the ending, forced certain people to live, forced a "fail state" to always end on, and forced the multiverse theory. DBD having "lore" in the first place is stupid enough because it's just a dumb multiplayer game that never needed it, but man, it really did just get in the way of this story. For the record I think the idea of Frank Stone being trapped in film and 'tearing' out of the projection was awesome. I was 100% on board riiiiiight up until he starts killing people. That's when it just starts to kind of fall apart. At no point did they explain shit with Bonnie being killed etc.
@@fnhatic6694No characters are forced to live, it’s actually the opposite. Stan and Bonnie cannot be saved but all other characters (minus old Augustine but young Augustine can so…) can be killed or saved.
@@sociallifeofafemboy What I meant is that there's a "fixed" number of deaths you can experience. The game is rigged around specifically having one person die here, which locks out anything else dying over there, because they have to have the 'multiplayer' ending for the trashy DBD game.
If Linda dies in 1980, what does that mean if she is still in living in the 2024 timeline? Ohhh the timeline is so confusing if added by the deaths, with Bonnie as well - as they are not with her when they split the films in the pharmacy. I think I'm missing something.... 😮
The Time Travel Rules are different. The past does not directly affect the present, but it creates a different future/a different Universe. Its just like Sam says; there‘s an infinite number of Murder Mills that possibly could have existed
It follows the same rules as the avengers endgame movie i guess, if you change the past it will only branch into a new future but your "present/future" still remains the same.
Bonnie was cool but you don't even get a damn choice. It wasn't a great game mostly because the DBD tie-in forced a bunch of nonsense in order to have the "correct" ending.
Being turned inside out is probably thhe worst death she had in my opinion.
it's creepy you can hear her muffled screams inside her skull too
On what minute this moment?

Why chris cant be saved when maddi and stan dies even tho theres outcomes where linda and sam can be consumed but frank ?
Chris can be saved. Don’t take the pocket mirror or give her the necklace. Those objects are the reason she dies.
Why do you care? She and Madison are the worst characters in tnis game!

What causes the death where chris gets turned inside out
It's shown in the video - but the tldr is you need to have Chris choose to go back to 1980, fail all the QTEs and don't help Stan ( "GO" ).
