I kind of miss the bias commentary from season 1 especially. As more of the plot was introduced they became a lot more unbiased sadly. I love the later seasons and the plot, but the early episodes had some great commentary, especially when it was Jacob, Jo, and Travis specifically

The lore is expanding.
That Kirby is the old apprentice of Vincent. Vincent knew that his old age wouldn't go well for his fighting, and thus he had trained a young, impressionable warrior in the art of complete disrespect. Kirby had origionally joined the tournaments as a fun little side game but once he heard that his old mentor was making his way into these tourneys, Kirby knew he had to prove how far he had come. Sadly, the bracketing didn't allow Kirby to face Vincent, but trust me, Vincent saw it all unfold, and he only showed a proud smile.

This is just an idea, but what about a CPU tournament drinking game?
Rules would be:
Everyone picks one character
Every time your character loses a stock, take a shot.
Every time your character whiffs a final smash, take a drink
Every time your character gets hit by a final smash, take a drink
Every time your character gets to 200% without losing a stock, your opponent takes a shot.
If your character is taken out of the tournament, finish your drink and pick someone else's character, but you are not allowed the chase (see next)
If your FIRST character wins the tournament, you get to make everyone "chase", so you drink as much as you want and everyone else has to drink as much as you did.

Vincent was once a proud warrior rivalled by none. His power overwhelmed every foe he fought and brought hope to all the allies he fought with. However, all stories have to end and all heroes have to retire. “What! Vincent lost!” “That’s what I heard” “It can’t be. It’s impossible!”
Vincent sat defeated in his house; the tv playing his defeat on repeat. He solemnly smiled when there was a knock on the door. Vincent rushed over to see who could possibly be at his door. He reached for the handle but just before he could place his hand around it he recoiled his hand. He retreaded back. It was probably some reporter trying to get a story. He should ignore it. The knock continued for some time as Vincent stared at the door hoping they would just leave him alone but they were persistent. Vincent sighed. They left him no choice after all. He charged his kick before flying towards the door obliterating it sending wood splinters everywhere. The person behind the door was sent flying down the hill on which Vincent home resided. “Leave me alone!” He yelled. The person got up and limped towards him.
“Pleases sir...”
“I said leave me alone!” He charged another kick
“I want you to train me!” Vincent’s eyes widened in shock “I too have been beaten in the tournament. Badly you could say. After all the work I put in training!” Tears began falling from his big eyes “I don’t want to loose! Please teach me!”
“I can’t. I have already trained a disciple and it went horribly wrong” Vincent looked back on the time when he trained a young cyborg dragon thing named Ridley. Ridley was a prodigy and with Vincent’s teaching was nye unstoppable. At the time Vincent truly believed that this would last forever. How wrong he was. Ridley was beaten in the tournament causing him to loose control and Vincent was forced to beat him and calm him down. After that Vincent never saw his disciple again and he never took on another as no one could replace the one he had lost. “I truly am sorry” Vincent turned around and began walking back into his house.
“I won’t take no for an answer! You will train me and I will win the tournament in your place. Please help me win!” Vincent turned around; his frown transforming into a hopeful smile.
“Are you sure you can handle it?” His smile grew wider
“of course” Vincent charged a kick and connected with Kirby’s face.
3 months later
Kirby held the trophy for the subscribe Grand Prix in his hand. He had heard his master had sadly been beaten in the first round and expected him to be disappointed. He anxiously looked into the crowd where he found Vincent standing in the far coner smiling proudly at him. There eyes locked and Vincent winked.
“You still have a lot to learn Kirby”

@@thewendigo8888 im gonna give incineroar credit, to be disrespected like that and to come back and beat him takes alot of heart, other opponents before him have lost their will to keep going. but not incineroar, he was not having any of it. and his "why" was stronger than what ever ridley could throw at him. I love ridley as he is a very entertaining fighter, but god damn i respect inineroar there is no quit in him.

@@cittleskum Hell yeah, Incinaroar is a badass, I don't think Ridley is a particularly strong fighter but he'll always be my favorite, Incinaroar is definitely up there with the stronger fighters.

Something that's killing Vincent from what I can tell with my own experience is his current Down B. For some reason, CPU just does not know how to properly use Feint Jump. Ever. In fact, they leave themselves vulnerable more often than not due to using Feint Jump blindly. I don't think the ever even use the divekick portion of it.
I would suggest replacing that move with Counter Throw. I want to see Vincent reclaim his spot.

New rule
The most recent winner of the all stars tournament will partake in thug finals to 'defend their title'. If they win all thug finals it stays the same if they lose in both one of the normal tournaments' thug finals and the allstars they will be replaced.
So in this case Vincent would be replaced by Kirby.for thug finals.

THEORY TIME: What if Kirby sucked in Vincent before the tournament and instead of taking his ability he took his sauce.
Because that Kirby was playing like Vincent in previous tournaments, wave dashing, tea bagging, killing without using the final smash in the final match on the final stock.
That would also explain why Vincent was playing like trash because Vincent is well Vincent and would never lose first game. At least not getting to last stock.

After the events of WoL, the heroes of the war decided it was more importnant now than ever before to read their fighters in case another invasion were to ever occur. As such it was decided that many tournaments would take place each crowing a new champion. This champion would gain the right to challenge the Hero of the War, Vincent. Vincent hobbled and defeated sought the council of an old friend... one of the long-forgotten heroes of the war... the one who remained when all hope was lost... Kirby.
Kirby had retired from combat after the events of WoL. Choosing to instead live his days in ease away from the horrors of war he had experienced. Happy in the fact that he had managed to save everyone. Hoping that no one else would ever have to experience that loneliness...that all-encompassing solitude.
Vincent stumbled up the tallest hill in Dreamland, it overlooked everything. At the top of this hill laid a familiar round figure, the figure turned and with the same enthusiasm as always greeted Vincent.
"HIIII".
Vincent sat at his side with a grin.
"Kirby, you look well old friend, time has treated you kindly, I wish I could say the same."
Kirby stared at Vincent's expression in bewilderment, before him, stood the greatest of all the heroes of the war. Looking weakened and yet so excited.
"Kirby... I have grown old... too old. I am sure you have heard by now, but I have been bested in combat. I... This new generation of fighters is astounding. I have watched over them carefully, seeing them develop astonishing and sometimes perplexing strategies. I wish I could see how much further they could be pushed, but it would seem these old bones of mine have grown weary."
Kirby's expression had grown sullen, He reminisced the many battles that He and Vincent had shared in over the many decades they had known each other.
Vincent stood and turned to Kirby
"Kirby I know, you have been declining the invitations to the tournaments...
Kirby turned his eyes back to dreamland.
"I do not blame you. I remember how the nightmares of the war bothered you. Yet, even so, I must ask you. Will you rejoin us, will you participate in the next tournament?
Kirbys gaze remained unbroken from the peaceful landscape of Dreamland.
"I understand, I had only wished I could have seen your skills once again"
Vincent stood and gave his old friend a pat in the back before turning his way back down the hill. The night was beginning to set and there would not be much time before the next tournament. Vincent had no time to lose on pleasantries if he hoped to reclaim his title as champion.
"Goodbye, Old friend may you continue to bask in your peace-"
Suddenly the darkness of the night had been replaced by an effervescent light, it was the warp star!
Kirby stood atop it with a smile and reached out to his old friend. Vincent returned Kirby's smile with his own and the two set off to train for the next tournament.

yea but seriously as a kirby main I feel happy for the little guy, he consistently ranks F tier on basically all smash games (except 64) and getting him to elite smash was hard, but kirby is just what I like to play.
