Excellent video. Just to add a few details -- The loader arms need to be fully raised to do this. Also, lock the loader arms up with the lift strut on the right-side cylinder to avoid accidentally killing yourself. The gray cab machines run the wiring harness up behind the driver. On these, you can often get by without disconnecting the harness at all. Just cut any zipties that hold the harness near the pumps, and retie the harness when you're done with the job. The cab should slide forward far enough that it tips forward a little, but the rollers should keep it from falling off. I wonder if you're missing your rear rollers on this machine. I like to pull the cab forward further than you have it here, for easier access to the tandem drive pumps.

@@MikefromMissouri thank you kindly sir. I have a lot of dirt packed up in the engine bay so it’s going to take me a few hours to clean it out. Something is leaking oil so I will clean it out then pressure wash it and after that I may be in touch. Thanks man
Yeah, would be handy the 3-4 times a year I might need it.. but I would find an excuse to use it if I had one. Hah. My kids are enjoying your progress.
Another question for ya. I believe I need to do this to get to some chewed up wiring by the starter. The problem is that the machine is not running currently due to wiring problems. Can this still be done because we can't raise the arms?
@@jimcoontz5848 the cab won’t slide forward much with the arms down. Unless you have another piece of machinery to lift the arms you’ll have to go at it with the cab down. Remove the seat pan and there is some access but it is tight.
