    Nice presentation. What do you think about using manual mode with auto iso? I use it and set the lower and upper iso range on my Nikon camera and have found that most of the time, I have one less thing to worry about and can concentrate on adjusting aperture and/or shutter speed to achieve the artistic effect that I want.
    I appreciate your story about not returning your settings back to "normal" before photographing. I've (and I'm sure, others) done this as well...my favourite is to have left a delay on from shooting self portraits or whatever, then taking a photo later and wondering why the camera isn't working, only to get an out of focus shot of my feet as I'm peering at the camera in confusion. Embarassing....

      Thanks. I use auto iso a lot these days. Two reasons, firstly the sensors in modern cameras are not quite as prone to noise as they were and secondly the tools to clean up noise are so much better.
