Wanted to mention, I bought my first pair of Jim greens , the rough out vellies, and wanted to thank you for your information and input on Jim greens in general. I enjoyed the boots so much I’m looking forward to adding a pair of African rangers next
That was actually quite useful! I usually have trouble deciding what to pack when traveling, I didn't even think about putting stuff inside the boots I use roomy boots when in the airplane, but those aren't the best for walking since I don't feel "supported" enough, so two boots might be quite useful
Over here we have a 3D walk through scan, which then shuffles you to a specific narrow scan, so no need to take anything off if the walk through is good. Parkhurst have fibreglass shanks so no “ping”.
I just love your video…loved the EDC pants and the leather bag you displayed..must appreciate your choice of outfits and color cause just with a few items you could very earlier swap and pair and it becomes like May 6-7 para of clothes…Cheers from Mumbai India…
Thank you Teik. It’s very interesting to see and hear your thoughts about what to pack, and why. I’m a tennis fan, and was looking for you in the stands at the recent tournament in Perth. Did you attend? Regards, Mark
I know this is far-fetched but I will try my best to request you to discuss something that is very much close to the subject of boots and that is - socks. There are days when I struggle with my socks ( some were abrasive, others hot, some are just downright runny, like trying to get away from my foot by itself. Any sock/s recommendation? Thanks you Teik ✌️🫰 and best regards always 🫡
Im living in southern California and always thinking what kind of boots can I wear during the summer months. 😂 do you have any recommendations for the hot days?
The advantage of taking jeans is that when you spill curry on them they don't show marks much or look that bad with a greasy mark. I envy that you can pack so much in hand luggage and being 1.94m tall with XXL clothing and size 12 UK footwear I'd probably need two bags for this amount of stuff. Plus the weight allowance on longer trips can be severely challenged.
@@je2338 no they have not been “handed back land”. The Native Title legislation provides a process to claim land that is vacant crown land where no Torrens title exists. No one loses their backyard. The “billions of funding” are not paid to any individual. Sixty four percent is paid to government departments and agencies to “administer” programs like health and housing - non Indigenous people’s expected citizenship rights. Another 29% goes to Indigenous controlled agencies to administer municipal costs for communities - power and water and town services. The rest go to grants for various projects none of which are paid to Individuals except as salaries in those projects.
@Bootlosophy very well said Teik. Not only that you got a wonderful YT page about boots but you also maintain your values. Such values that every Australian should have (in my opinion) such as recognising the traditional owners of the Land, inspiring inclusivity, has high regard of fairness to workers and care for the environment. Good on you and Wish you all the best.
why not branch out a bit and review some fashion boots or things like lobb, edward green, etc instead of all the popular more high end reddit brands? Not trying to be mean but there are plenty of reviews of viberg, grant stone, etc but not a lot of reviews for other brands
I’d love to but to review those boots I’d have to buy them. Do you have a rich uncle somewhere who could buy them for me? 🤣 Otherwise I’ll have to get round to them when I can afford them 🤷🏻♂️
Great video, thoughtful and well made! I enjoyed the packing, discussion about combinations, and of course the boots!

Excellent video, both interesting and inspiring

Great video. Loved seeing the other apparel you pair with your boots plus that's a handsome day bag as well.
Great idea for a video. I loved seeing a bit more of Australia, a very lovely place.
Interesting, i would have worn the Chelsea boots on the plane since they're easy on and off, and the TSA always makes me take my shoes off

Loved this video mate. Great outfit choices. And, of course, if I travel for three to four days, two pairs of boots foooo shooo!!!
😂😂😂We’re one of a kind!
PS I’m working on making the Indy Shells work!
@@Bootlosophy Cool, let's make it work buddy ☺️

I couldn’t get tickets! Last time I went was before covid and since then tickets are hard to get.

I was so happy and surprised when I saw the kufiya while watching the video. Thank you for showing support to Palestine, Teik!
wow he is consistent in supporting the indegenous populations

Chukkas for starters, otherwise unlined suede.
Also as a Californian, it’s always interesting to hear what other places consider as @“quite cool”. I admit, the perfect weather here has spoiled me
What’s your “cool”?
Nice 👌 videos, if you have been in Adelaide you could have bought a pair of Rossi boots 🥾
Their factory store was permanently closed!
What brand of your hat?
Akubra

I'm with your wife on the Hawaiin shirt.😅
😂😂😂🤷🏻♂️
So, how was my city of Adelaide?
I’ve always loved it! Back in the 90s I was almost transferred there and I would have enjoyed making it my city!
Glad you enjoyed it Teik.
Life's challenages for a boot collector? What boots do I take with me on a trip since I cannot take them all.... lol - REAL life drama
LOL! True!
I know almost nothing about Australian history, especially in regards to their indigenous people. Does the government give them reparations?
No
No reparations as such but they get billions in funding every year and have been handed back a lot of land similar to native Americans.
