So much music in one man... I think he'd be thrilled to see that his work is still being admired, and will live on for generations .. through the miracle of RUclips.

My father was Bob Sande, the drummer with Liberace for several years. I don't remember much (I was born in 1950), and in most clips I've seen my father was not on camera. But this one is great. Thank you. Would love to see any others with Bob Sande.

… SÍ, que se acabó la “polémica”.
PERDONA EL LUCIMIENTO ¡ES QUE SOY PUERTORRIQUEÑO!

Not only a talented mucician, but a talented showman too. His introduction of Latinamerican instruments is very funny. By the way, the pronunciation of the musicians is good. "Clave" means 'key' and keeps the whole orchestra in rithm. The maracas were not listened during the presentation because of the applause of the public. Thankyou, Liberace, wherever you are.

    Who is the songwriter?
Rafael Hernández Marín (October 24, 1892 - December 11, 1965) was a Puerto Rican songwriter, author of hundreds of popular songs in the Latin American repertoire.[1] He specialized in Puerto Rican and Cuban styles such as the canción, bolero and guaracha. Among his most famous compositions are "Lamento borincano", "Capullito de alhelí", "Campanitas de cristal", "Cachita", "Silencio", "El cumbanchero" and "Perfume de gardenias".[…]

I'm sorry, but there's not a single touch of jazz here. LIberace may have added a bit of flourish, but this is pura rumba boricua. Not jazz brother. Here's a link to watch and listen to what this tune sounds with a big band with a percussive emphasis of the timbales played by maestro Tito Puente: ruclips.net/video/v6fhsmVyNaw/видео.html

Some people are so stupid. They say He was not a great pianist, others of way better. Well ok, so what. Each artist has a unique approach or technique. Yes, there are so many with more skills but at the end of the day, who was the most and biggest entertainer made more money before Michael Jackson or the Frank Sinatras his Karisma was unmatched, and on top of that his skills come on get a grip. And also people talk more about his tragic life. I thought that we look at these people as musicians or artists, not personal life. Media are so stupid so are people that concentrate on these aspects. All these famous people are humans with issues. So admire what we suppose to care MUSICAL TALENT ENJOY AND LEAVE PRIVATE LIFE TO THE TOMB
